A vehicle seat is provided including a base section fixed to a floor of a vehicle, a pair of seat sections that are disposed opposing each other as viewed along a seat width direction, that are each supported by the base section so as to be capable of tilting between a horizontal position and an upright position, and that each include plural cushion sections disposed in series and configured to support the body of an occupant, and a hinge mechanism that attaches the pair of seat sections to the base section such that the seat sections are capable of tilting, and that couples the plural cushion sections together such that the cushion sections are capable of swinging about an axis running along the seat width direction.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes a conjunction mechanism and a locking mechanism. When a seat cushion is placed at a raised position, the conjunction mechanism causes an ottoman to be placed at a stored position closer to the seating surface relative to a standby position. The locking mechanism restricts movement of the ottoman when the seat cushion is placed at a seating position. The locking mechanism includes an anchoring portion, a traction cable, and a wound portion. In response to a change being made in an amount of winding of the traction cable around the wound portion due to the seat cushion being moved, anchoring of the ottoman by the anchoring portion and canceling of the anchoring are caused.
ADJUSTING APPARATUS FOR ACHIEVING LYING POSTURE IN VEHICLE SEAT
An apparatus for adjusting lying posture in vehicle seats is connected between a lower side of a height adjusting mechanism of the seat and upper sides of upper sliding rails of the seat and comprises an upper fixed bracket, a front end execution mechanism, a front end supporting and driving mechanism and a rear end bracket assembly. The upper fixed bracket is provided with a front end fixed supporting rod, a left end and a right end of which are connected with a left fixed supporting rod and a right fixed supporting rod respectively; inner sides of the left fixed supporting rod and the right fixed supporting rod are connected with a left fixed bracket and a right fixed bracket respectively; and a connecting hole is formed in each of front parts and rear parts of the left fixed supporting rod and the right front end fixed supporting rod.
CALF SUPPORT ARRANGEMENT, AND SEAT
A calf support arrangement for a vehicle seat may have one seat attachment unit. The arrangement may also have one first calf support element which is coupled to the seat attachment unit and is pivotable relative thereto. The arrangement may also have one second calf support element which is coupled to the first calf support element and is movable relative thereto. At least one guide arrangement is provided by which the calf support elements are arranged on the seat attachment unit coupled in terms of movement in such a manner that the two calf support elements are pivotable relative to the seat attachment unit and the second calf support element is movable relative to the first calf support element. A vehicle seat having the calf support arrangement is also provided.
Vehicle control system
This vehicle control system comprises: a driving control section 1 that performs switching between autonomous driving and manual driving of a vehicle V; a seat 10 that can be changed to forms which are different during autonomous driving and during manual driving; and a seat control unit 2 that controls the operation of the seat 10 when changing the forms. If the seat 10 is in the form adopted during autonomous driving, the driving control unit 1 can perform control so that the switching from autonomous driving to manual driving of the vehicle V is not performed. Thus, it is possible to improve safety when switching from autonomous driving to manual driving.

A comfort element for a vehicle includes an actuator for carrying out a comfort function, a comfort-element-internal store configured to drive the actuator and/or a coupling device for coupling to a comfort-element-external store configured to drive the actuator. A seat adjustment system for a vehicle seat is provided. The seat adjustment system includes a seat body; at least one actuating unit, configured to adjust a support of the seat body; a sensing unit, configured to obtain and provide seat information and body shape data of a back of an occupant; and a control unit, configured to control the at least one actuating unit; wherein when one parameter of the seat body changes, the control unit makes a portion of the body shape data of the occupant in a pre-defined range via the at least one actuating unit.
Vehicle seating assembly having lower leg support and suspension assembly
A vehicle seating assembly includes a seat and a lower leg support. The seat includes a first end and a second end. The first and second ends are opposite to one another. The lower leg support is coupled to the seat at the second end and is movable relative to the seat between a retracted position and an extended position. A suspension assembly is coupled to the lower leg support. The suspension assembly includes a first end, a second end, and an intermediate portion. The first end of the suspension assembly is coupled to a portion of the seat. The second end of the suspension assembly is coupled proximate to a distal end of the lower leg support. A distance between an interior surface of the intermediate portion and an adjacent surface of each of the seat and the lower leg support may vary based on lower leg support position.
Vehicle seat
Provided is to stabilize a fixed state of each bag body provided at a vehicle seat and configured to expand to push a corresponding one of the shoulders of a seated passenger. Of a seat back provided at the vehicle seat, each shoulder support configured to support a corresponding one of the shoulders of the seated passenger includes an air cell configured to expand by injection of air. The air cell includes protrusions extending in a predetermined direction and provided at respective end portions of the air bag in the extending direction thereof. The air cell is attached to the inside of the seat back in such a manner that each of the protrusions provided at respective end portions in the extending direction is fixed to a corresponding one of fixing positions separated from each other in the width direction of the vehicle seat.

Emergency vehicle patient transport systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, an emergency vehicle patient transport system includes: a loading passage providing access to an interior of an emergency vehicle; one or more tracks coupled to a floor of the emergency vehicle, a ceiling of the emergency vehicle, a wall of the emergency vehicle or combinations thereof wherein, a travel path is delineated by the one or more tracks; and a chair slidingly engaged with the one or more tracks, and vertically positioned between the floor and the ceiling. The chair locks in one or more set positions. And, the one or more set positions are selected from a group consisting of an airway care position, an extended airway care position, a procedural care position, a responder position, a patient care position, and a patient load position.
