An adjustable assembly for use in a vehicle, including a table element and an adjustment device for power-operated adjustment of the table element. The table element defines a table surface on which at least one object can be deposited. The table element is adjustable in a power-operated way by means of the adjustment device along a longitudinal axis extending substantially parallel to the table surface between a retracted position and an extended position and is pivotable about a pivot axis extending substantially perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis.

An occupant protection device is provided with: a table disposed at a position facing a seatback; and an airbag disposed in the table. The airbag deploys between the table and the upper body of an occupant sitting on the front surface of the seatback. Due to this configuration, in a vehicle provided with the table, the upper body of the occupant can be favorably protected.

Embodiments related to systems and methods for controlling an active vehicle seat are described. In some embodiments, the active vehicle seat is controlled based at least partly on internal sensor information, external sensor information, and operator input from a user interface.

An apparatus (10) for deploying a table (12) from a housing (24) is disclosed. The apparatus (10) including: an arm (40) pivotally securing the table (12) to the apparatus (10) wherein the apparatus via the arm (40) moves the table (12) from a first position in a first linear direction; a deviating point (44) that contacts the arm (40) and pivots the table about a first axis when the arm (40) contacts the deviating point (44); and an arm member (46) slidably secured to the table (12) at one end and pivotally secured to the arm (40) at another end, wherein the arm member (46) is pivotally secured to the arm (40) and wherein pivotal movement of the table (12) and the arm member (46) with respect to the arm (40) is prevented when the table (12) extends over a pivot axis between the arm (40) and the arm member (46).

The present disclosure refers to a tray table device for a vehicle seat that may have at least a table element and a table support structure connected to the table element. Further, the present disclosure refers to a vehicle seat that may have such a tray table device.

A reconfigurable system provides for adjustable support of a personal article of a user in a manner releasably anchored to a built in cup holder receptacle onboard a vehicle. A base portion fits within and substantially fills the cup holder receptacle. The base portion defines an internal bore formed to extending axially therein. A frame portion engages the internal bore of the base portion to extend longitudinally upward therefrom. The frame portion includes at least first and second sections telescopically coupled to one another for axial relative displacement in releasably locked manner. The first and second sections are mutually locked against angular displacement relative to one another during use, with one of the first and second sections defining an attachment end. One of a plurality of modular holder portions is coupled to the attachment end of the frame portion to define a support surface for the personal article.

A vehicle includes a first seat, a second seat, and an article placement part. The first seat and the second seat are disposed to face each other in a vehicle room. The article placement part is disposed around at least one of the first seat and the second seat. A high contrast part having a high brightness and a high saturation relative to another interior component is provided on a member surface which becomes a back portion of an article that is placed on the article placement part.

An in-vehicle bed assembly includes a passenger seat having a seat cushion and an extendable leg rest, and a movable ottoman positioned in front of the passenger seat. When the leg rest extends from the passenger seat, the seat cushion, the extended leg rest, and the ottoman form a substantially flat surface for an occupant to lie in a horizontal position.

The actuator may rotate the roller to provide tension in the sheet. The component may comprise a tonneau cover, cargo cover or retractable table.

A stretchable hygienic cover, for utilization with an existing variable geometry vehicle headrest, having an ability to conform itself to dimensions of the existing variable geometry vehicle headrest underlying the stretchable hygienic cover when engaged includes a stretchable, breathable, moisture-absorbent fabric. Further provided in the stretchable hygienic cover is an elastic opening allowing the fabric to stretchably fit over an existing variable geometry vehicle headrest, wherein the elastic opening may stretch and retract in size to grip on to an existing variable geometry vehicle headrest.
