Assist handle for vehicle
An assist handle apparatus for a vehicle having a mounting plate positioned at a handgrip may include a damping mechanism having a hinge pin connected to the handgrip; hinge ends positioned at first and second sides of the mounting plate, wherein a damper seat is formed in a space defined between the hinge ends; a damper that is inserted in the damper seat with the hinge pin passing through the damper and the hinge ends, the damper having first and second damping ends protruding at a first side and a second side of an outer circumference of the damper respectively; and a stopper that is formed on an inner side of a hinge portion of the handgrip, wherein the stopper damps rotation shock in both rotation directions of the handgrip when the stopper selectively contacts with the first damping end or the second damping end according to rotation of the handgrip.
Truck bed assist handle and method therefor
In accordance with the present invention, a novel, simple, inexpensive, user friendly and portable, truck bed assist handle quickly attachable without tools to a truck tailgate striker and tailgate hinge is presented. The assist handle provides for easy access into a truck bed. The handle includes an elongated body having a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion being a tailgate hinge connector configured for removably engaging with the tailgate hinge. The second end portion being a hand grip. Positioned thereinbetween the first end portion and the second end portion, the body has one of at least one first tailgate striker connector integrated therewithin the body and a structure attached thereon the body. The structure has at least one second tailgate striker connector integrated thereon. Both at least one tailgate striker connectors being configured for removably engaging with the tailgate striker.
Damper and handle device having the same
An embodiment provides a damper a damper including: a housing; a rotor; and a sealing member. The housing includes outer and inner cylinder portions to define a filling space portion therebetween for filling with a viscose fluid. The rotor includes a head portion and a cylinder portion extended downwardly therefrom so as to be inserted into the filling space portion. The sealing member seals the filling space portion. The rotor further includes axially-extending first and second groove portions provided on outer and inner peripheral surfaces of the cylinder portion near the bottom portion thereof. At least one of the first groove portions includes a communicating portion which communicates the inside and the outside of the rotor, and the second groove portion is apart from the communicating portion in a circumferential direction.
DRIVING DEVICE FOR VERTICALLY MOVABLE WAIST BAR OF VEHICLE
A driving device for a vertically movable waist bar of a vehicle is provided. The driving device enables the waist bar to be moved vertically in conjunction with the door glass to ensure the driver's vision by eliminating an invisible area created by the waist bar, and also to increase available indoor space. The driving device includes a transfer unit that is coupled to the waist bar mounted at a vehicle door and configured to be movable vertically, and a power transmission unit that is connected at a first side thereof to the transfer unit and at a second side thereof to a drive unit to transmit power generated from the drive unit to the transfer unit. Additionally, the waist bar is moved vertically in response to the vertical movement of the transfer unit.

A hanging-strap information display device is a device provided in a hanging strap (10) including a hanging band part (11) hung in a movable body in a swingable manner and a hold part (12) provided on the hanging band part, and includes a display unit (14) disposed at a position that squarely faces a passenger that grips the hold part (12), a support shaft part (13) that supports the display unit (14) on the hanging band part (11) in a rotatable manner about a rotation center line, a weight (15) provided on a lower side in a vertical direction than the rotation center line of the display unit (14), and resonance reduction members (16, 17) that is connected between the hanging band part (11) and a position away from the rotation center line of the display unit (14) and reduces resonance of the display unit (14).

The movable assist finds particular utility in association with a folding seat in a vehicle having a dual-use area, such as a wheelchair securement area adjacent the folding seat.
