Vehicle having assist handle deployment and method
A vehicle is provided that includes a deployable assist handle configured to be gripped by a user, the deployable assist handle being deployable amongst a plurality of use positions, at least one sensor for sensing a user proximate the vehicle, and an actuator for actuating the deployable assist handle. The vehicle also includes a controller determining one or more characteristics of the user from the sensed data and controlling the actuator to actuate the deployable assist handle to a select use position based on the determined one or more characteristics.

HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE ASSIST HANDLE FOR VEHICLE
By separating a middle portion of a handle body to be divided into an adjustment part and support parts formed at both sides of the adjustment part and allowing the adjustment part to be connected to the support parts with extension members, it allows the extension members to get out of the support parts when only the adjustment part is gripped and pulled down to allow the adjustment part to move down so that an occupant with a small sitting height can also conveniently use the assist handle. In particular, by allowing the extension members to be integrally formed with the adjustment part at both ends of the adjustment part, when the adjustment part is formed, it is possible to easily manufacture the assist handle without undergoing a separate manufacturing process so that an occupant can conveniently use the assist handle by conveniently adjusting a height of the assist handle.
Handrail
A novel handrail that can be mounted on the side of a recreational vehicle proximate an access door that can be safely grasped by the user to assist in entering or exiting the interior of the vehicle.
Handle assembly for a vehicle
A handle assembly for a vehicle includes a rail. The rail includes retention flanges that each define a channel. A handle is disposed within the channel and is operably coupled to the rail. The handle includes a body that defines a grasping portion and at least one attachment end. A latch feature is operably coupled to the at least one attachment end of the handle. The latch feature includes a retention member that is coupled to a pivot feature. The latch feature also includes a lever. A cable is operably coupled to the lever of the latch feature and is configured to translate the latch feature between an engaged position and a retracted position.
Auxiliary handle device configured to be used in entering or exiting vehicle
The present disclosure provides an auxiliary handle device configured to be used in entering or exiting a vehicle. The auxiliary handle device includes a cover unit including first and second movement guides, which define a movement path, a guide frame unit, which is connected to the cover unit so as to be slidably moved along a rail of a mounting plate mounted on a roof of the vehicle, and a handle unit, which is mounted on the cover unit so as to be selectively projected downwards from the mounting plate, the handle unit including a first guide pin and a second guide pin, which are respectively mounted in the first movement guide and the second movement guide such that the first and second guide pins are moved while being rotated so as to project the handle unit downwards from the mounting plate.
Boarding handrail
A boarding handrail includes: a base supported by a support member provided on a periphery of an entrance of a vehicle; a handrail main body provided on the base and capable of being grasped by a passenger who gets on or off the vehicle through the entrance; and a moving member movably fitted on the handrail main body. The moving member has a self-propelled device that rolls over an outer circumferential surface of the handrail main body so as to cause the moving member to move in an axial direction while rotating on its axis, and an irradiation device that irradiates the outer circumferential surface of the handrail main body with ultraviolet light.
REMOVABLE GRAB HANDLE ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
According to some embodiments, an assembly configured to be removably secured to an exposed structural component of a vehicle (e.g., a rollbar) comprises a cover assembly configured to secure to the exposed structural component of the vehicle, a hand grip configured to pass through at least a portion of the cover assembly and hand below the cover assembly, wherein the hand grip is configured to be grasped by a user, and at least one tool-receiving member configured to secure to the cover assembly.
Roof handle for a vehicle
A roof handle for a vehicle has two bearing elements which can be fixed to a roof of a vehicle and on which a handle body is mounted so as to be pivotable between a raised position and a lowered holding position. A line for the power supply is provided on at least one bearing element, which line, in a raised position of the handle body, is connected via contacts to an illuminating means on the handle body. Light can be irradiated via the illuminating means into an optical waveguide. This makes the handle body more visible in poor lighting conditions.
Vehicle Mounted Step Assist System
The present invention relates generally to the field of vehicle accessories and more specifically, to a vehicle-mounted step and handle assist system for climbing into a pickup truck or gaining entry into a vehicle interior. The system includes a portable step and a hand grip unit. The step is uses a hinged foot plate and a perpendicular bolt assembly to secure the device to a vehicle by a D-ring configuration. The hand grip unit uses the conventional striker bolts installed on a truck or other vehicle to attach a grip unit having pull handle that can aid a user by providing additional support while using the step and entering into the vehicle.
