HINGED CARGO LINER
An injection-molded cargo liner has a floor panel, at least one seat back panel and a plurality of accordion pleats joining the floor panel to the seat back panel. Living hinges between adjacent ones of the panels and pleats are made by reducing thickness. The pleats allow the seat back panel to travel with the seat back, as the seat back is moved forward and down. In this way, the cargo liner provides a continuous barrier against dirt and water.
Extruded strip for automotive floor mat
The present invention relates to an extruded rubber or plastic strip for adding it to the edges of textile and rubber vehicle mats with the purpose of keeping dust and grime inside of the mat, diminishing contamination of the vehicle's floor, and preventing the mat from slipping and obstructing pedal use, without need of replacing the whole mat. This strip is flexible enough to adapt to the shape of many rubber and textile vehicle mats. It has a slit in which the edge of the mat can be inserted to mount the accessory to the mat and an internal cavity, adjacent to the slit and higher than the slit, for imprisoning the edge of the mat and ensuring a firm grip. The exterior side is higher than the interior side, so that, once applied, the accessory stops the water, dust, or grime from exiting the mat.
Needle punched carpet
A needle punched carpet for use in a car is disclosed. The needle punched carpet comprises at least a needle punched facing layer defining a top layer and made of staple fibers. The staple fibers comprise hollow fibers having a hollow fiber content that is at least more than 45 weight % of the total staple fibers.
Feeder Module in Planetary Roller Extruder Design
A planetary roller extruder section forms a feed part of an extruder. The planetary roller extruder has an internally toothed housing and an externally toothed central spindle disposed centrally within and at a distance from the housing. Planetary spindles are arranged to rotate in a void between the central spindle and the housing. Each planetary spindle has an external toothing meshing with both the housing and the central spindle. At least one planetary spindle has two axially spaced areas with less than a full set of teeth. Those axially spaced areas include a first area having a first number of teeth and a second area having a second number of teeth. The second number of teeth is less than a full set of teeth and more than the first number of teeth.
Floorboard storage compartment
A floorboard storage compartment may be placed on top of a floorboard basin of an automobile to conceal contents within an inner compartment composing a lower tray and an upper tray.
Light emitting tufted carpet
A light emitting tufted carpet including a primary backing layer, an optional secondary backing layer, an optional adhesive layer, a plurality of carpet integrated LEDs arranged to generate carpet light, and first and second electric conductors. The first electric conductor and the second electric conductor are arranged to provide power from a power source to the LEDs. At least one of primary backing layer and the optional secondary backing layer may include a felt layer. One or more of the first electric conductor and the second electric conductor may be at least partially integrated in one or more of the first felt layer and the second felt layer.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ILLUMINATING AUTOMOTIVE FLOOR MATS
The present invention is a system and method for providing a floor mat that uses wireless powering of a floor mat lighting system disposed within the floor mat. Instead of requiring precise alignment of the floor mat with a wireless power transmitter, the floor mat may be positioned in a general area and will tolerate movement of the floor mat that will not interrupt power flow.
Molded Lightweight Layered Floor Liner Construction
A molded lightweight layered floor liner construction includes a top layer with an exposed carpeted hobnail surface, a middle layer including a moldable thermoplastic coating on the back of the top layer, and a bottom layer having a downwardly exposed surface characterized by singed non-woven fabric. The floor liner is lightweight, molded by known molding techniques, impervious to water, liquids, mud, and debris, and resistant to sliding and bunching up on the factory carpeted surfaces of a vehicle. The exposed hobnail surface interacts very well with mechanical fastening systems such as the hooks of a hook-and-loop fastener system. Thus, accessories such as cargo organizers can be placed on the exposed surface of the floor liner, where they stick firmly until pulled away, removed, and repositioned.
Multilayer Structure for Producing Floor Covering
A multilayer structure for the production of a floor covering of a transport vehicle successively includes an upper wear layer of plastic material, a first adhesive layer, a woven reinforcement, a second adhesive layer, a non-woven textile layer comprising self-extinguishing fibers, said layers being bonded together to form the multilayer structure.
Connection member
Provided is a connection member that is to be bridged between a seat back and a luggage room floor, and stretches and contracts as at least one of the seat back and the luggage room floor moves. The connection member has a main body portion formed into the shape of a thin plate or a sheet; and a plurality of long convex portions provided on the main body portion in a parallel manner. The long convex portions are extendedly provided in a direction orthogonal to a direction along which the connection member stretches and contracts. As the seat back and the luggage room floor approach each other, a first bending portion and second bending portion having the plurality of the long convex portions will be bended in a manner such that the plurality of the long convex portions will be positioned inward.
