Feeder module in planetary roller extruder design
11485298 · 2022-11-01 · ·

A planetary roller extruder section forms a feed part of an extruder. The planetary roller extruder has an internally toothed housing and an externally toothed central spindle disposed centrally within and at a distance from the housing. Planetary spindles are arranged to rotate in a void between the central spindle and the housing. Each planetary spindle has an external toothing meshing with both the housing and the central spindle. At least one planetary spindle has two axially spaced areas with less than a full set of teeth. Those axially spaced areas include a first area having a first number of teeth and a second area having a second number of teeth. The second number of teeth is less than a full set of teeth and more than the first number of teeth.

Disclosed herein is a mat comprising a first foam layer; and a sanitizer; where the first foam layer is saturated with the sanitizer. Disclosed herein too is a method of manufacturing a mat comprising immersing a foam in a sanitizer; and saturating the foam with the sanitizer.

Vibration-based tracking system

A vehicle movement tracking system that employs floor mats having ridges for generating location information in the form of modulated vibrations, detectable with an accelerometer. Two sensors are in a wheel of a vehicle. One sensor senses wheel rotation, and the other sensor senses vertical acceleration. The vehicle passes over a floor mat comprising vertically elevated ridges thereon that code the mat and thereby indicate the location at which the mat is at. When the vehicle travels over this mat the vertical acceleration sensor in the wheel detects the vertically elevated ridges and the wheel rotation sensor detects the distance between the vertically elevated ridges. In combination these two sensors are used to create a location word that denotes the mat over which the vehicle passes over. The location word is stored in non-volatile memory and later uploaded to a location collection station.

Fabric Reinforced Traction Mat

A traction mat wherein the foam is reinforced with a layer of fabric or fiber between the CLCC foam layer and the substrate or underlying surface. The layering is preferably a first foam layer and a fabric layer impregnated with a pressure sensitive adhesive. This prevents the CLCC foam from being bonded directly to the substrate and allows the fabric/fiber to support the CLCC foam such that the entire assembly can be removed in one piece without the CLCC foam disintegrating. The introduction of the reinforcing fabric and/or fiber layer eliminates any residual CLCC foam from being bonded to the substrate. Consequently, the traction mat can be easily lifted away and removed.

Vehicle Floor Covering System

A vehicle floor mat system comprising a vehicle floor tray molded from an extrusion polymer sheet, a vehicle floor mat affixation device containing a circular shaped body with axial extending tines, and a removable carpet attachment is disclosed. The vehicle floor mat system resists affixation device pull-out and shear forces applied to the mat with respect to the original equipment manufacturer's floor covering on which the mat is placed but allows for easy removal and replacement of the vehicle floor mat and of the affixation devices.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A HOLLOW PROFILE COMPONENT, MOLD TOOL AND HOLLOW PROFILE COMPONENT

A method for producing a channel-shaped hollow profile component from a nonwoven material includes providing first and second nonwoven material layers arranging the first and second nonwoven material layers in a mold tool having first and second mold tool halves and a core body wherein a formation of the first and second nonwoven material layers and the core body is arranged between the first and second mold tool halves, and wherein the core body is arranged between the first and second nonwoven material layers in the formation, and simultaneously forming the first and second nonwoven material layers in the mold tool to form a first nonwoven partial shell and a second nonwoven partial shell.

SILENCER FOR AUTOMOBILE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

The present invention discloses a silencer for automobile. The silencer is formed by press molding. The silencer has a first molded surface and a second molded surface which are opposite to each other in a thickness direction. The silencer at least includes a first fiber layer on which the first molded surface is formed and a second fiber layer integrated with an opposite surface to the first molded surface, the opposite surface being on the first fiber layer. Fibers of the second fiber layer exist partly on the opposite surface on the first fiber layer.

Floor Mat Having Reduced Tuft Profile

This invention relates to a floor mat having reduced tuft profile on the backside of the textile component of the floor mat. The floor mat is comprised of a textile component and a base component. The textile component includes face yarn tufted through a primary backing layer. The reduced tuft profile is present on the backside of the textile component. Advantages of a floor mat with reduced tuft profile include improved uniformity of the secondary backing layer applied to the textile component and improved durability of the textile component.
