Vehicle with reconfigurable seat and foot rest
A foot rest for use in a reconfigurable passenger cabin of a personal automotive vehicle is moveable between a first position and a second position. In the second position, a resting surface of the foot rest is inclined to face toward a seat when the seat is moved away from a forward-facing position to a rotated position. In the first position, the resting surface can be level with a floor of the passer cabin, facing toward a different seat, or facing toward the same seat as in the second position. The foot rest provides stability to a seat occupant when the seat is moved into unconventional positions, such as rotated or extreme rearward positions.
Control device for the comfort equipment of a passenger transport vehicle seat module, seat module and system for controlling comfort equipment
A control device for the comfort equipment of a passenger transport vehicle seat module includes a casing having a control unit and an USB port, a transmitter/receiver having an electrical plug to be plugged into the USB port, the transmitter/receiver to receive an adjusting command and to transmit the received adjusting command to the control unit, the control unit to transmit the received adjusting command to the one piece of comfort equipment. The control device further includes a locking device having a maneuvering member. When the maneuvering member is actuated, the locking device prevents the transmission of the adjusting command from the transmitter/receiver to the piece of comfort equipment.
Device for controlling longitudinal guidance of a vehicle designed to be driven in an at least partly automated manner
A device is provided for controlling longitudinal guidance of a vehicle designed to be driven in an at least partly automated manner. The vehicle includes an actuation element for having a driver control longitudinal guidance, the actuation element being blockable within predefined limit positions in accordance with a variable representing the degree of automation of the vehicle and a first condition. The actuation element can be unblocked in accordance with the variable representing the degree of automation of the traveling vehicle and at least one second condition.
VEHICLE SEAT DEVICE
A vehicle seat device including: a seat main body; and a movable body, wherein a seat surface portion of the seat main body is configured to be switched between: a first posture in which the seat surface portion is brought down to a front side such that a first support surface is in a low position where the seated person can sit thereon by lowering a hip; and a second posture in which the seat surface portion is brought up to a rear side from the first posture such that a second support surface is in a high position where the seated person in a standing posture can sit thereon, and wherein the movable body includes a placement portion configured to swing with respect to the floor in a state where both soles of the seated person are placed when the seat surface portion is in the second posture.
Vehicle footrest device
A vehicle footrest device including: a footrest; and a footrest moving mechanism including: a rail fixed on a vehicle floor and extending in a front and rear direction; a slider configured to be guided so as to be slidable in the front and rear direction along the rail; and a variable-length arm bridged in a height direction between the slider and a vehicle seat and configured to change a bridging length between the slider and the vehicle seat by a sliding displacement of the variable-length arm in response to a forward and rearward movement of the slider, wherein the footrest is connected to the variable-length arm, and a position in the front and rear direction and an inclination angle of the footrest to the vehicle floor are configured to be changed according to a movement of the variable-length arm caused by the forward and rearward movement of the slider.
VEHICLE PASSENGER SENSING AND REPORTING SYSTEM
An example embodiment of a system and methods for detecting and reporting whether passengers are seated and secured in their seats within a vehicle may include a passenger sensor configured to provide an output indicative of a presence of a passenger in a seat in a vehicle, a restraint sensor configured to provide an output indicative of a status of a passenger safety restraint associated with the seat, a transmitter configured to be in electronic communication with the passenger sensor and the restraint sensor and to wirelessly transmit data indicative of the presence of a passenger in the seat and the status of the restrain, and a reporting module configured to be disposed proximate a driver of the vehicle. The reporting module may be configured to receive the data from the transmitter, and output a respective status for each of a plurality of seats.
Foot support device of a motor vehicle
A foot support device of a vehicle has a foot support plate. The foot support plate is pivotably fitted to a foot space on a floor of the vehicle. A support device is arranged between a lower side of the foot support plate and the foot space on the floor, and contains at least one support element to introduce a force, which is applied to the foot support plate into the foot space on the floor. Via the at least one support element, below a predetermined force threshold value there is provided, for the force applied to the foot support plate, a force introduction path that, when the force threshold value is reached or exceeded, is substantially completely eliminated by reversible form change of the at least one support element.
Appendage support for child seat
An apparatus for supporting an appendage of a seated user, generally in a vehicle, including adjustable support arms attached a seat with a platform disposed at a distal end of second support arms so that the appendage of the user, such as a child, are supported thereon for comfort of the user.
MOVABLE OTTOMAN FOR AN AIRCRAFT SEAT
An ottoman for an aircraft seat includes a guide assembly, a foot platform, and an actuator assembly. The guide assembly is configured to couple to a frame of the aircraft seat. The guide assembly includes a guide and a slide that is translatable along the guide. The foot platform is coupled to the slide. The actuator assembly is configured to selectively translate the slide along the guide to reposition the foot platform between a stowed position and a deployed position. The actuator assembly includes an actuator and an arm. The arm defines a first interface coupled to the slide and a second interface coupled to the actuator. Engagement of the actuator causes the arm to pivot and move the slide along the guide.
