CONSOLE ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A console assembly for a vehicle includes a unitary main body. The unitary main body includes a first side wall, a second side wall, and a top finish portion that extends between the first and second side walls. The top finish portion defines at least one of a shifter receiving aperture and a cup holder opening. A cross bracket is coupled to the first and second side walls and extends between the first and second side walls of the unitary main body.
LIGHTED CUP HOLDER FOR SEATING ARRANGEMENTS
A method and apparatus include attaching a lighted cup holder to a seating arrangement. The lighted cup holder includes a cup holder body and a light-producing light source, with the cup holder body being attached to the seating arrangement and having a cup receptacle therein, the light-producing source being disposed within the cup receptacle for illuminating the receptacle. A light-sensitive element operatively connected to the light source selectively controls production of light by the light source in such a manner that illumination of the cup holder is provided only under conditions where visibility is reduced to the point that it becomes difficult to locate the cup holder. The light-sensitive element is mounted on a master lighted cup holder and controls illumination of the master lighted cup holder and one or more slave lighted cup holders operatively connected to the master lighted cup holder.

The present disclosure provides a portable storage device. The portable storage device includes a stay unit mounted on a personal vehicle or a general vehicle, a storage unit, which is portable and is selectively mounted on the stay unit, and a coupling unit, which is disposed at the stay unit so as to couple the storage unit to the stay unit.

The water-dispensing system for vehicular cup holder comprises a water provisioning system and a water dispensing system. The current disclosure is configured for use with a vehicle. The current disclosure mounts in the vehicle. The water provisioning system condenses condensate water from the atmosphere. The water provisioning system processes the condensate water into drinking water. The water provisioning system stores the drinking water in anticipation of consumption. The water dispensing system pumps the stored drinking water into a plurality of refillable drinking vessels. The water dispensing system monitors the level of the drinking water in each individual refillable drinking vessel selected from the plurality of refillable drinking vessels. The water dispensing system maintains a predetermined level of drinking water within each individual refillable drinking vessel.
Tailgate Panel
A system and method for a tailgate panel and modification. The tailgate panel has holes for coupling to a tailgate. The tailgate panel further includes a cup holder void and a cup holder coupled within the cup holder void. The panel is installed on a tailgate. The tailgate panel converts a previously unusable tailgate into a substantially planar and usable space.
On-vehicle storage device
Provided is an on-vehicle storage device 1 that includes: a storage box 2 including a box body 20 having a storage space 21 and having an upward-facing opening 22, and a box peripheral portion 25 disposed at a peripheral edge of the opening 22; and a design panel 3 disposed on an upper side of the storage box 2 and having a window portion 32 facing the opening 22, and a design window frame portion 35 that is disposed at a peripheral edge of the window portion 32 and that faces the box peripheral portion 25. The design window frame portion 35 and the box peripheral portion 25 are slidable relative to each other in a first direction intersecting an up-down direction while engaging with each other. The storage box 2 and the design panel 3 are combined with each other by sliding in the first direction.
QUICK-ACTING BELT TENSIONER FOR A CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A quick acting belt tensioning mechanism for securing a child safety seat into a vehicle having a tensioning member with a hook-like engagement structure rotatably mounted on the safety seat adjacent to a belt path for a vehicle seat belt. Engaging the seat belt in the engagement structure and rotating the tensioning member by movement of the lever tensions the seat belt by wrapping the seat belt around the tensioning member. The lever is slideably disposed on the tensioning member to close the opening of the hook-like structure and prevent disengagement of the seat belt therefrom and to inhibit rotation of the tensioning member to the tensioned position unless the lever is properly positioned. A latching mechanism is provided to restrain the tensioning member and lever in the tensioned and closed position. The seat shell and lever may include structures to further constrain seat belt tensioning unless the lever is properly positioned.
Storage compartment for a vehicle interior
A storage compartment is proposed for a vehicle interior, with a circumferential storage compartment wall, which extends at least substantially vertically and delimits a storage space, and with an insert, reversibly insertable into the storage compartment, with an outer wall and an inner wall, wherein the inner wall is designed partially circular in sections and wherein the insert has pressure elements on the inner wall in order to hold/fix at least one beverage container. The storage compartment is characterized in that an outer contour of the outer wall is substantially identical to an inner perimeter of the storage compartment wall, and in that first positioning elements are disposed on an inner side of the storage compartment wall and second positioning elements, corresponding to the first positioning elements, are disposed on an outer side of the outer wall and by interacting with the first positioning elements fix the insert in a predetermined position within the storage compartment.
