Vehicle seat
Vehicle seat having a backrest consisting of a backrest lower part and a backrest upper part, which is displaceable with respect to the backrest lower part, wherein the vehicle seat is connected to a rotary adjustment device for rotating the vehicle seat, and wherein the rotary adjustment device comprises a locking device for locking the rotary adjustment device, the backrest upper part and the locking device being connected to each other, such that upon a displacement of the backrest upper part relative to the backrest lower part from a non-displaced position into a displaced position, the locking of the rotary adjusting device may be released.
Inertial latch for a seatback of a vehicle seat
A vehicle seat assembly includes a seatback rotationally coupled to a base at a first pivot. A securing pin is coupled with the seatback. An inertial latch is operable about a second pivot to define an idle position defined by the inertial latch biased distal from the securing pin. A deployed position is defined by an opposing directional force biasing the inertial latch into selective engagement with the securing pin wherein the seatback is maintained in a predetermined rotational position.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat (100, 200), transferable from a use position into a non-use position, includes a seat part (120, 220), a backrest (110, 210), and a base (140, 240). A front rocker (160, 260) is articulated via a first joint (I) on the base/adapter (150, 250) fixed to the base, and is articulated via a second joint (II) on the seat part with limited displaceability. A rear rocker (170, 270) is articulated via a third joint (III) on the base/adapter fixed to the base and is articulated via a fourth joint (IV) on the seat part. A locking device (162, 262) locks the first joint, the second joint or the fourth joint to lock the front rocker about the first joint. A fifth joint (V) pivotably connects the backrest to the rear rocker. A pivoting movement of the backrest about the fifth joint can be locked.
Seatback frame for vehicles
A seatback frame for vehicles is disclosed. The seatback frame for vehicles has a simple structure without bracket structures used to install a conventional seatback frame and thus achieves cost reduction and weight reduction. In particular, the seatback frame is segmented into several parts having different rigidities so that only a part, on which load is concentrated, is set to have high strength and thus avoids overdesign for excessively high strength of an unnecessary part.
LOCKABLE INTERIOR STORAGE VOLUME WITHIN A PASSENGER COMPARTMENT OF A VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a passenger compartment having a rear wall, a first side wall, a second side wall and a floor. The vehicle further includes a seat having a seat back adjacent a rear wall of the passenger compartment. A storage volume is positioned between the seat, the rear wall, the first side wall and a second side wall and the floor. A securing mechanism selectively locks the seat back to the rear wall.
SEAT BACK FRAME FOR VEHICLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A seat back frame for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a frame body consisting of a thermoplastic fiber reinforced composite material; a reinforcing agent joined to the inside of the frame body; and a cover sheet joined to the outside of the frame body. According to the present invention, the frame is lightweight while maintaining rigidity and strength like a steel frame, and a cover sheet is joined thereto, thereby enabling a board which is further joined to the seat back frame to be omitted, which leads to the achievement of a slimmed and fabric-integrated seat back frame for a vehicle. Also, a cover sheet is joined to a body frame by using a vacuum adsorption scheme, which leads to the achievement of a method for manufacturing a seat back frame for a vehicle having improved joining force and increased merchantability.
Vehicle seating assembly
A seating assembly is provided herein that includes a console disposed between laterally adjacent first and second seats. A panel is disposed within the console and movable between a stowed position and a deployed position. A first portion of the panel has a greater transparency than a second portion of the panel. A tray is supported by the console and movable between a first position and a second position. The tray is supported by a support member extending from the console.
Multi-joint seat back for vehicle
The present disclosure provides a multi-joint seat back for a vehicle, which may include a plurality of partitioned seat back components provided to have a structure in which a seat pad is inserted into a front portion of a skeletal frame and configured to be hinged to one another in a manner of rotating angularly in a forward or backward direction; elastic wires, each of which is connected between two partitioned seat back components selected from the plurality of partitioned seat back components; pulling wires bound to predetermined positions of the elastic wires respectively; and a drive unit connected to the pulling wires such that it winds the pulling wires to pull the elastic wires or otherwise releases the pulling wires to restore the elastic wires.
MOTOR VEHICLE WITH SEAT ASSEMBLY DIVIDED INTO SEVERAL, SINGULARY ADJUSTABLE PORTIONS
A motor vehicle includes a structural element and a seat having at least two separate and independent seat portions, each of the seat portions being configured to support a part of a user's body and being independently coupled to the structural element in a movable manner relative to the structural element with three degrees of freedom including two translations in a plane along respective orthogonal axes and a rotation around a further axis orthogonal to said plane.
SEAT BASE ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A seat base assembly includes a coupling member, a plurality of adjustment tracks coupled to the coupling member, and a plurality of seat legs, the plurality of seat legs includes at least one inner seat leg, and at least one outer seat leg, wherein the at least one inner seat leg and the at least one outer seat leg each comprise upturned bottom edges, and a lock assembly coupled to at least one of the plurality of seat legs.
