Systems and methods for removable vehicle seat sensor

Methods and systems for detection of removable vehicle seats may be used to indicate presence or absence of a child in the vehicle. In some examples, an alarm system includes a radio frequency (RF) transceiver and a removable seat magnetic coupling. Various actions are triggered when the parent (e.g., guardian) goes beyond a predefined range while the removable seat is within the vehicle, such as sounding an alarm on a mobile electronic device.

A vehicle system arrangement is provided. The vehicle system arrangement includes a first body on which a scanning belt with a plurality of scanning elements is fixedly arranged and a second body, which is displaceable in the direction of movement relative to the first body. A linear path sensor is arranged on the second body, which interacts with the scanning belt. The vehicle system arrangement includes an evaluation unit which is designed to determine a linear position of the first body relative to the second body as a function of the sensor signal of the linear path sensor. The linear path sensor is fixedly mounted on the second body in the direction of movement and is displaceably mounted on the second body transversely to the direction of movement.

System and method for cancelling a continually varying electromagnetic field in a passenger cabin

System, method, and computer readable medium are disclosed for reducing a time-varying undesired magnetic field in a passenger compartment of a vehicle. Reducing a time-varying undesired magnetic field in a passenger compartment of a vehicle includes a magnetic field source for transmitting time-varying currents resulting in the time-varying undesired magnetic field in the passenger compartment including a selected region suitable for presence of people; a sensor for detecting the time-varying undesired magnetic field and to provide sensing data; a magnetic field generator for generating a time-varying cancellation magnetic field in the selected region; a circuit for receiving the associated sensing data; determining the time-varying cancellation magnetic field from the associated sensing data; and transmitting signals to the magnetic field generator to thereby generate the time-varying cancellation magnetic field for at least reducing the time-varying undesired magnetic field.

Seat automatic arrangement method and apparatus of autonomous driving vehicle

A seat automatic arrangement method and apparatus of an autonomous driving vehicle is provided. The seat automatic arrangement method and apparatus have an advantage that it is possible to automatically arrange seats in the vehicle into the seat-facing mode through remote control, and it is possible to prevent interference when moving the seats by arranging the seats in accordance with priority when arranging the seats into the seat-facing mode, thereby being able to more smoothly arrange the seats into the seat-facing mode in an autonomous driving vehicle.

Vehicle seating system

A vehicle seating system includes a seatback pivotally coupled to a seat base. The seatback is operable between an upright position and a reclined position. A lift assembly is operably coupled to the seat base. The lift assembly is operable between a disengaged position and an engaged position. A position sensor is coupled to the lift assembly via a ball joint, wherein the ball joint and the position sensor adjust with movement of the lift assembly. A seat controller communicatively is coupled to the position sensor, wherein the seat controller determines if the lift assembly is in the disengaged position or has moved to the engaged position based on position data received from the position sensor.

System and method for active cancellation of magnetic fields in a passenger cabin of a vehicle

A vehicle, comprising: a frame; a passenger compartment including a selected region suitable for presence of people; an electric motor that, when in operation is associated with an undesired magnetic field emitted into the selected region; a magnetic field generator positioned in at least one of a passenger seat, a vehicle door, or the frame, wherein the magnetic field generator is configured to at least reduce the undesired magnetic field in the selected region; a magnetic field sensor configured for sensing the undesired magnetic field emitted into the selected region; and a circuit configured to: receive from the magnetic field sensor sensing data indicative of the undesired magnetic field; determine a cancelation magnetic field for at least reducing the undesired magnetic field; and direct electrical signals to the magnetic field generator for generating the cancelation magnetic field for at least reducing the undesired magnetic field.
