HYDRAULICALLY-ADJUSTABLE ELASTOMERIC VEHICLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM
20180056840 · 2018-03-01 ·

A suspension system for a vehicle includes an extendable and retractable actuator disposed at each side of a frame of the vehicle and pivotally attached at one end to a vehicle bracket and at the other end to a suspension bracket. The suspension bracket includes an actuator portion, an axle portion and a suspension arm, with the actuator portion and the suspension arm pivotable relative to an axis of the axle portion. When the actuator is extended or retracted, the actuator portion pivots about the axis of the axle portion and imparts pivotal movement of a suspension arm about the axis to adjust a height of the frame of the vehicle. The actuator includes an elastomeric element disposed between an outer end of a slide rod and an outer end of a ram rod, with the slide rod movable to absorb sudden movements of the frame or wheel.

Towable Dock-Lift Trailer

A highway towable dock-lift trailer for use in loading and/or unloading trucks, rail cars, containers, etc., for example, in any location and across all industries and applications, and can include a tow bar that allows the trailer be towed to a desirable position or location. When the tow bar is removed from the trailer or repositioned relative to the frame, either a truck can back into position or the trailer lift can be positioned against the truck, etc., and the trailer lift is then ready to load and/or offload the truck. As an operator elevates the loading platform of the trailer, via hydraulic lifting means, for example, the lift can move up to truck height and hydraulically operated lifting arms can operate opposed automatic folding ramps, which simultaneously can open for load distribution and close for safety. The trailer can include a plurality of screw down or hydraulically actuated jacks to level and secure the platform, and the trailer can include bumpers to absorb the forces from a truck accidentally impacting the trailer.

GOODS MOVEMENT APPARATUS

The invention relates to a goods storage trailer including connection means to allow the trailer to be connected to a tractor unit and a plurality of wheels which allow the trailer to be moved along a surface. The trailer is formed by a base, opposing sidewalls, opposing end walls, a roof and a deck located intermediate the roof and base so as to define two storage areas within the cavity of the trailer. At one of the ends, there is provided a door assembly which is movable between open and closed positions to allow access to the cavity and the base is formed by a plurality of portions at different heights with respect to said support surface and the floor of the base and the upper deck are used to locate goods thereon.

Transportation device and transportation system using same

Provided are a transportation device for transporting heavy plate-shaped cargoes such as thick plate products, and a transportation system using the transportation device. The transportation device may include: a device body unit; a device moving unit provided on the device body unit to move the transportation device; and a cargo loading unit provided on the device body unit for self-loading cargo. The transportation device is capable of rapidly loading and transporting plate-shaped heavy objects such as thick plate products of an iron mill without using additional lifting/unloading apparatuses and heavy pallets (cassettes) for markedly decreasing the total transportation (distribution) time necessary for lifting, transportation, and unloading of cargo, providing efficient transportation environments, improving productivity, and decreasing costs.

A powered forklift assembly is configured to be operably mounted on an over-the-road vehicle to shift a load relative to a chassis of the vehicle. The powered forklift assembly includes a shiftable forklift and a vehicle bed. The shiftable forklift includes an extendable mast and a fork mechanism. The fork mechanism is attached to and is vertically shiftable relative to the mast and configured to support the load.

Helicopter transport apparatus

The aircraft transport trailer enables the loading, transporting, and unloading of a helicopter. The transport trailer comprises a wheeled trailer having a power unit, a height adjustable roller platform having a first position for loading or unloading the helicopter and a second position for transporting the helicopter, and a winch for moving the helicopter, the winch being power driven, the winch pulling the helicopter forward and releasing backward, a strap assembly being connected to the winch, and a pair of micro-switches positioned upon the trailer in cooperative engagement with the winch. Each micro-switch is positioned upon the trailer proximate to a cushioned bumper and to a towing position for the helicopter. The pair of micro-switches cut the power to the winch as the helicopter skids or wheels touch the micro-switch thereby properly positioning the helicopter upon the platform of trailer for when the trailer is raised to the second position.

Trailer for a tugger train

A trailer for a tugger train having a frame, which has a lifting apparatus with a lift platform. An inner wagon to be transported rests in a raised state on the lift platform. The lifting apparatus has a pull/push rod and at least one triangular lever. Each triangular lever is mounted pivotably with a first end on the frame, a second end on the lift platform and a third end on the pull/push rod, wherein the lift platform can be adjusted in height using the triangular lever(s), with which the lift platform performs an arc-shaped pivot movement, and with a lowering movement is lowered to such an extent that the inner wagon is released from the lift platform and is pushed out of the frame, transverse to the lowering direction, by a predetermined path.

Dual Axis Tow Lift
