TAILGATE APPARATUS FOR DUMP TRUCKS AND DUMP TRAILERS
A tailgate apparatus for a dump body is described herein. The dump body includes a floor, a front wall coupled to and extending upwardly from the floor and two opposing side walls coupled to and extending upwardly from the floor. Each side wall is coupled to the front wall. The two side walls define an opening at a rear end of the floor. The tailgate apparatus includes a tailgate sized to cover the opening and two opposed side arms extending from the tailgate towards the front wall. Each side arm is pivotally coupled to a respective one of the side walls. The tailgate apparatus also includes a pair of linkages for linking the side arms to the side walls. The linkages enable the tailgate to pivot between a closed position where the tailgate covers the opening and an open position where the tailgate is positioned closer to the front wall than the opening.
Tailgate overrotation mechanism
A tailgate assembly for a vehicle includes a tailgate configured to rotatably couple to a main body of the vehicle, and an overrotation mechanism coupled to a sidewall of the tailgate. The overrotation mechanism is configured to be disposed between the tailgate and the main body, and to enable the tailgate to move between a closed position and a horizontal open position, and between the horizontal open position and an overrotation position where the tailgate is disposed toward the ground at an angle relative to a horizontal.

A power tailgate assembly for a vehicle includes a tailgate configured to rotatably couple to the vehicle, the tailgate having an inner panel, an outer panel, a bottom panel, and first and second side panels defining an inner cavity. An opening is defined in at least one of the first side panel and the bottom panel, and a motor mount cartridge assembly is disposed in the inner cavity at least partially within the opening to at least partially conceal the motor mount cartridge assembly within the tailgate. When installed, the motor mount cartridge assembly covers the opening without need for a discrete cover for the opening.
POWER TAILGATE MOTOR MOUNT CARTRIDGE ASSEMBLY
A power tailgate assembly for a vehicle includes a tailgate configured to rotatably couple to the vehicle, the tailgate having an inner panel, an outer panel, a bottom panel, and first and second side panels defining an inner cavity. An opening is defined in at least one of the first side panel and the bottom panel, and a motor mount cartridge assembly is disposed in the inner cavity at least partially within the opening to at least partially conceal the motor mount cartridge assembly within the tailgate. Modular tailgate
A modular gate combined with multiple functions which can be easily employed with existing tailgates without any hardware or mounting modifications to existing truck beds. There is provided a modular tailgate system having a tailgate portion in combination with a plurality of functions. The modular tailgate system integrates any combinations of at least two of the plurality of features without affecting existing body sides and/or existing truck beds. Integrated features include a multi-functional gate (e.g., swing, drop, etc), storage (e.g., normal, sealed, refrigerated, heated, etc), step(s), lighting (e.g., ingress/egress, bed interior, removable, trailer hitch, parking, etc), bed extension(s), power (e.g., 12 v and/or 110 v), tie downs (e.g., ratchets, anchors, etc), sawhorse, magnet(s), table(s), bench(es), seat(s), net(s), any other predetermined desired function, etc., and combinations thereof.

Waste disposal methods
Embodiments of the present disclosure include systems and methods for collecting, storing, separating, and disposing of waste material from an oil and gas well site in order to enhance payload efficiency. An embodiment of a method, for example, may include introducing a waste material into an enhanced-payload mobile vessel positioned at the oil and gas well site, the waste material selected to include one or more of a sludge waste material, a solids-laden wastewater material, and a dry waste material. The method may further include transporting the waste material when positioned in the enhanced-payload mobile vessel along roadways to an off-site waste management facility. Additionally, the method may include dumping the waste material from the enhanced-payload mobile vessel by a site-based lifting mechanism into a receiving vessel at the off-site waste management facility thereby to dispose of the waste material at a reduced transportation cost.
