An assistance vehicle tilt lift supports an assistance vehicle above a bed of a hauling vehicle and includes one or more pivoting racks. Each pivoting rack includes a track to receive one or more wheels of the assistance vehicle. Each pivoting rack is rotatably attached to a pivot point near the front end of the bed of the hauling vehicle. One or more tapered rails are attached to the bed of the hauling vehicle. One or more roller support members are in contact with the one or more tapered rails and rotatably attached to the one or more pivoting racks. An actuator is operably connected to the one or more roller support members. The actuator raises and lowers the rear end of the one or more pivoting racks relative to the pivot point by moving the one or more roller support members along the one or more tapered rails.

An assembly for assisting in lifting a tailgate includes an elongated housing extending along a predetermined length, a spring anchored at one end at a first end of the housing, and a connector having a first end affixed to the opposite end of the spring and extending through the housing. In one embodiment, at least three rollers are provided for engaging the connector. The rollers may be arranged in a variety of configurations to maintain the connector and spring in a generally centered location within the housing. In another embodiment, at least two vertically aligned guides are provided. A vehicle for integrating the foregoing assemblies is also provided.

A vehicle rack for hauling one or more personal recreational vehicles is provided. A vehicle rack may be adjustable to allow one or more personal recreation vehicles to be stored above a vehicle's cargo area allowing the vehicle to also tow a trailer.

A tonneau cover system for a vehicle includes at least two panels configured to collaboratively form a container. The at least two panels extend laterally when connected to a tonneau of the vehicle. A first panel is movable between an open position and a closed position to gain access to an interior space defined by the container. In the closed position, the first panel extends parallel to a floor of the tonneau. A second panel is selectively placed in a cover or a storage position. In the cover position, the second panel extends parallel to the floor to collaboratively cover at least part of the tonneau. In the storage position, the second panel extends perpendicular to the first panel in the closed position. The first and second panels collaboratively form the container when the first panel is in the closed position and the second panel is in the storage position.

Implementations of a telescoping loading ramp are provided. In some implementations, the telescoping loading ramp comprises a left bracket and a right bracket configured to attach to a vehicle tailgate, a first ramp section rotatably attached to the left and the right brackets, and a plurality of telescoping ramp sections. In some implementations, each of the first ramp section and the telescoping ramp sections comprises a continuous top surface thereby forming a continuous ramp structure that extends widthwise between the left bracket and the right bracket and extends lengthwise from the vehicle to a supporting surface.

An apparatus includes a first transverse conveyor, first and second pairs of foldable parallel ramps, and first and second foldable longitudinal conveyors. The transverse conveyor moves material in a first direction. The first pair of foldable parallel ramps extend from a first side of the transverse conveyor. The first foldable longitudinal conveyor is positioned between the ramps of the first pair, and is configured to move material toward the transverse conveyor in a second orthogonal direction. The second pair of foldable parallel ramps extend from a second side of the transverse conveyor and are in alignment with the ramps of the first pair. The second foldable longitudinal conveyor is positioned between the ramps of the second pair and is configured to move material in a third direction that is substantially opposite the second direction.

A storage carrier for use with a tailgate of a vehicle. The storage carrier includes a hinge mechanism attachable to an outer face of the tailgate. The storage carrier includes a cabinet including first, opposing second and rear sides. The first side has a resting surface. The cabinet is attached a hinge mechanism adjacent the second and rear sides. The cabinet pivots between stored and deployed positions. In the stored position the first side is disposed adjacent the outer face and generally disposed in a vertical orientation with the tailgate in a closed position. In the deployed position the first side is generally disposed in a horizontal orientation with the resting surface being exposed away from the outer face with the tailgate in a closed position. The storage carrier further includes a cabinet recess formed in the cabinet.

A trailer apparatus has a hitch bar, a first frame member coupled to the hitch bar by a compound pivot, and to a second frame member, allowing the second frame member to rotate vertically about the first frame member, a wheel mounted on a horizontal axis to one side of the first frame member, an elongated connecting link member coupled to the first frame member at a and to the second frame member at a position along the length of the second frame member, a first cargo-supporting element mounted to the same side of the first frame member as the wheel is mounted and a second cargo-supporting element mounted to the second frame member on the same side as the wheel is mounted, wherein the trailer may be configured into three positions, one for loading, one for hauling, and a third with the apparatus stowed for transport.

A ramp system comprising a cradle adapted to be received in a vehicle storage area, a first ramp member defining a first top surface and comprising a proximal end hingeably connected to a distal end of the cradle, and a second ramp member defining a second top surface, the second ramp member being separate from the first ramp member. In use, the first ramp member is pivotable between a first position and a second position wherein the first ramp member is oriented towards the ground surface and the second ramp member is movable between a first position and second position wherein the second ramp member is oriented towards the ground surface. In the second positions, the first and second top surfaces of the first and second ramp members define rolling surfaces allowing a wheelchair to roll over the first and second surfaces.

A tailgate system, comprising: (i) a tailgate door configured to pivotally engage a rear cargo area of a body of a vehicle in between a closed position and an open position; and (ii) a bed extension pivotally engaged to the tailgate door and configured to pivot from a closed position to one or more open positions, wherein the bed extension includes a plurality of removable panels.
