An integrated ramp truck tailgate apparatus for convenient loading and offloading includes a tailgate body pivotably coupled to a bed of a pickup truck. The tailgate body has a body inner face with a ramp cavity. A first ramp panel has a first proximal edge pivotably coupled to the ramp cavity adjacent a body distal edge. The first ramp panel moves between a first folded position within the ramp cavity and a first extended position extending from the body distal edge towards the ground. A second ramp panel has a second proximal edge pivotably coupled to a first distal edge of the first ramp panel. The second ramp panel moves between a second folded position on top of the first ramp panel within the ramp cavity and a second extended position extending coplanar from the first ramp panel in the first extended position to the ground.

A control device is mounted on a vehicle including a door opening and closing mechanism for opening and closing a door of an entrance and exit where a passenger gets on and off, and a shift device for changing a driving range of a transmission. The driving range is input to the control device and the control device opens and closes the door by the door opening and closing mechanism. The control device permits opening of the door when the driving range is a parking range, and prohibits a change of the driving range of the shift device when the driving range is the parking range and the door is open.

A vehicle floor structure includes a floor member having an opening and a floor panel covering the opening. The floor panel is configured by sequentially arranging and integrating a plurality of kinds of unit panels in a lateral direction of the unit panels, the unit panels having rectangular shapes as viewed from above a vehicle. Two end sides of the floor panel extending along a direction in which the unit panels are arranged (x direction) and one side of at least one of two unit panels arranged at opposite ends of the floor panel are supported by support portions of a floor member. A unit panel of which the one side is supported by the support portion of the floor member has a lighter weight per unit area than other unit panels having lateral lengths equal to or greater than a lateral length of the unit panel.

The tailgate ramp includes a tailgate, a left ramp, and a right ramp. The left ramp and the right ramp may be operable to form inclined planes extending from the ground to a truck bed of a pickup truck or from the ground to the tailgate of the pickup truck. A cargo may be moved between the pickup truck and the ground by advancing the cargo over the left ramp and the right ramp. As non-limiting examples, the cargo may be a motorcycle, an ATV, or a lawnmower. Folding ramp assemblies of the left ramp and the right ramp may be folded and stored within a ramp storage cavity of the tailgate when not in use. The folding ramp assemblies of the left ramp the right ramp may be removed from the tailgate and unfolded for use.

An automated cargo vehicle ramp deployment system includes a controller and a power source connected thereto, a ramp located at the existing cargo vehicle, a first automated ramp displacement mechanism for configured to selectively displace the ramp from a first position to a second position defined along a perimeter of the existing cargo vehicle while the ramp is maintained at a vertically oriented position, a second automated ramp displacement mechanism for configured to selectively displace the ramp from one of the first position and the second position to a third position, and a third automated ramp displacement mechanism for selectively adjusting a longitudinal length of the ramp while the ramp is statically disposed at a third position.

A trailer door that opens by hinging downward to double as a ramp for loading/unloading cargo and an improved assistive means by which such doors are opened and closed is provided. An assembly comprising a ramp pull point that is set apart from the plane of the ramp/door, and/or is moved outward from its edge, changes the physics of the tension required for the assistive lift force for any given ramp/door which in turn allows the spring or cabling counter-weight mechanism to be deployed substantially removing it from blocking the sides of the ramp/door.

A tailgate system, comprising: (i) a tailgate door configured to pivotally engage a rear cargo area of a body of a vehicle in between a closed position and an open position; and (ii) a bed extension pivotally engaged to the tailgate door and configured to pivot from a closed position to one or more open positions, wherein the bed extension includes a plurality of removable panels.

An apparatus has: a livestock transport having a floor, walls, ground engaging members, and an access door opening; a ramp; and side panels that are pivotally connected to the walls of the livestock transport, in which the ramp and the side panels are configured to move between: a deployed position where the ramp extends from the access door opening and the side panels cooperate with the ramp to form a livestock loading chute; and a transport position where the ramp is stowed and the side panels are swung about to lie against the walls of the livestock transport. A kit has the ramp and side panels of the apparatus. A method of using the apparatus involves moving the ramp and side panels between the deployed position and the transport position to load, unload, and transport, respectively, livestock.

It is provide a vehicle, comprising a bodywork opening, which can at least partially be closed by at least one door disposed in a closing position, and a flat platform unit, which is provided to facilitate access into the vehicle via the bodywork opening, when the at least one door is disposed in an opening position. At least part of the flat platform unit is formed by at least one adjustable, flat platform element, which forms part of the at least one door, which in the closing position closes at least part of the bodywork opening, or in at least one adjustment position, is fixed to and/or supported on a component of the at least one door.

A ramp apparatus of a door for a vehicle is provided. The ramp apparatus includes a door configured to open and close an interior of a vehicle, the door having an interior space, a guide unit installed in the interior space of the door, wherein the guide unit is configured to be slid to be extracted to an outside of the door or to be inserted into the door, and a ramp mechanism installed in the guide unit, wherein the ramp mechanism is configured to be rotatable, the ramp mechanism comprising a plurality of ramp panels connected to each other and rotatable with respect to each other, wherein the ramp panels are configured to be folded when being located in the interior of the door and to be unfolded when being extracted to the outside of the door by the guide unit.
