Load lifting system
A Load Lifting System for providing a easy lift accessory which may be utilized by one person. The Load Lifting System includes a vehicle mounting assembly to selectively secure the load lifting system to the vehicle and which may include a plurality of hook members for engaging a rack mounted to the vehicle and a bumper mounting assembly for abutting a surface of a bumper of the vehicle and a load lifting assembly pivotally coupled to the vehicle mounting assembly and operationally coupleable to a winch mounted on the vehicle, additionally the load lifting assembly may include a plurality of pivotally mounted load carrying hooks for facilitating the transport of liquid and dry goods while minimizing spillage.
System for and method of providing an opening for receiving a shipment in a loading space of a vehicle
A system and a method for providing an opening for delivering a shipment into a loading space of a vehicle, as well as a corresponding vehicle and a method for delivering a shipment into a vehicle, include a controller arranged and configured to calculate a first length of the opening based on received and/or determined dimensions of the shipment and further based on an area of the opening configured to receive the shipment through the opening in the loading space of the vehicle. An actuator is arranged and configured to move a first element of the vehicle relative to a second element of the vehicle by the calculated first length of the opening in order to provide the exactly necessary opening.
Load-lifting device
A load-lifting device for mounting on a vehicle, including a platform for receiving a load which can be brought from a lowered into a raised working position, and back again, as well as a linking lever, a support element, a drive element and a connection element. The linking lever that is pivotally mounted on the platform is linked to the vehicle at a linking end region. The support element attached to the platform includes a foot end which braces the ground. The drive element brings the support element from a resting state associated with the resting position of the platform, into a working state in which the foot end is braced on the ground and the platform is raised into the working position. The connection element functions to control the rotational position of the linking lever and the pivot position of the platform according to the support element.
Platform Loading Device
A winch activated loaded platform is described to enable single person loading and unloading of heavy objects into a cargo carrying vehicle, like a pickup truck. The device is installed in the vehicle and loads a platform into the vehicle with a singular electric winch, without the use of hydraulics, booms, or ramps. A novel sheet metal and ball bearing receiver aligns and transitions the platform from vertical to horizontal loading into the vehicle with a singular winch and winch cable. V-groove ball bearing wheels on the base and steel angle track on the platform reduce friction for loading and unloading of the platform. A system of horizontal and vertical latches keep the platform secure during transport. Cargo is secured with tie down points for large cargo such as motorcycles and sidewall mounts for loose materials and fragmented cargo. A removable and stowable frame section preserves functionality of a pickup truck tailgate.
Motor vehicle having an automatically controllable rear-flap assembly
A motor vehicle has an automatically controllable rear-tailgate arrangement, which either is comprised of a single pivotable tailgate or a pivotable lower tailgate and a pivotable upper tailgate. An electronic control unit for the motorized control of the pivotable tailgates is associated with the rear-tailgate arrangement assembly. In particular, the control unit is designed to perform the following functionality by an appropriately programmed function module: the control unit evaluates information of a sensor unit for sensing the longitudinal tilt of the motor vehicle; after an opening command by an operating person, the control unit prevents complete opening either of the single rear tailgate or at least of the lower rear tailgate at least in the case of a rearward longitudinal tilt exceeding a defined threshold.
Method and apparatus for loading and/or unloading caskets
A casket loading and/or unloading apparatus comprises a frame having an end adapted to be pivoted adjacent a rear edge of a bed of a transport vehicle for pivoting about a pivot axis generally transverse to a longitudinal axis of the transport vehicle, and a motion generating device operable between the frame and the transport vehicle for pivoting the frame from a first generally vertical position to a second at least generally horizontal position. A vertically oriented casket in the transport vehicle can be secured to the frame, and the frame with the casket secured thereto can be pivoted from the first generally vertical position to the second at least generally horizontal position to facilitate unloading the casket from the transport vehicle.
ATV loader/carrier system
A fixed frame has upper, lower, and lateral bars in a vertical frame. A movable frame has inner, outer, and side bars in a horizontal plane. The movable frame includes forward, rearward, and side panels. Hinges pivotably couple the side panels to the side bars allowing movement between a horizontal lowered orientation for loading and unloading cargo and a horizontal raised orientation for transporting cargo. Motion imparting mechanisms couple the movable frame with respect to the fixed frame for moving the movable frame between the lowered and raised orientations.
Truck loader
A truck loader is provided which includes a base placeable within a truck bed; a first end of a platform is pivotably connectable to the base proximate to a first end of the base; a support is pivotably secured to the platform and pivotably secured to the base proximate to a second end of the base. The support is moveable from a first position, where a second end of the platform is positioned proximate to the base, to a second position, where the second end of the platform is elevated relative to the base.
Parallelogram arm vehicle lift
A lift for transferring a user to and from a vehicle, the lift including a lift platform for receiving the user, the lift platform being arcuately movable between a first position and a second position; a vertical arm coupled to the lift platform, the vertical arm having a profile that is progressively convex along the entire length of the vertical arm; and a pair of parallel arms extending from the vertical arm, wherein each of the parallel arms is pivotally coupled to a bracket mounted to the vehicle; wherein the vertical arm has a generally U-shaped cross-section that forms a channel configured to receive at least a portion of the pair of parallel arms.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR LOADING A TRUCK
A loader to load cargo onto the bed of a truck includes a frame having a rear roller, and a winch mountable onto the bed of the truck, and a platform having forward and rear wheels depending downwardly from corresponding front and rear ends thereof. The roller may include a cable guide formed circumferentially around the roller. A winch cable is selectively extendable from the winch over the cable guide on the rear roller, and to attach to the front end of the platform when in it's lowered pre-hoisting position. The front end of the platform is hoistable from its pre-hoisting position onto the rear roller where-upon continued winching-in of the cable onto the winch draws the rest of the platform over the rear roller so as to rest on the top of the frame. The platform is then winched to the front of the frame.
