Piece Goods Box and Method for Transferring and Storing Piece Goods in a Piece Goods Box
Disclosed is a piece goods box having at least one piece goods chamber for receiving at least one piece goods item. The at least one piece goods chamber is assigned at least one holder that is adjustable from a storage position to a transfer position in which the holder is disposed at least partially outside the piece goods chamber, for transferring the piece goods item to/from the piece goods box. The holder, in the transfer position, has two holding regions for holding the at least one piece goods item in the transfer position. In the transfer position, at least one free space is provided between the holding regions of the at least one holder that is accessible in the horizontal direction from outside the at least one piece goods chamber.
Delivery robot control apparatus and method thereof
A delivery robot control apparatus for controlling a delivery robot to unload an object and a method thereof are disclosed. A camera is provided in the delivery robot having an internal loading space for one or more floors and obtains an image including a door module which is provided in the delivery robot and connected to a frame forming the internal loading space. The controller determines up and low positions of the door module based on the image, and controls a first motor to move the door module to a target position based on the determined up or low position of the door module.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES FOR LOADING, SHIFTING, AND STAGING OBJECTS IN AUTOMATED OR SEMI-AUTOMATED FASHION
Loading, shifting, and staging objects in automated or semi-automated fashion including systems, methods, and apparatuses for the same. The embodiments hereof enable automated and/or semi-automated loading, shifting, organizing, staging, and accessing of objects in different environments, e.g., those associated with a logistics network operation. For example, one such environment is a vehicle. In one aspect, a loading mechanism is used to load objects into a storage space of the vehicle. In another aspect, a shifting mechanism is used to shift objects in a storage space of the vehicle. In another aspect, a door assembly allows for automated opening and closing of a door into a storage space of a vehicle. In addition, methods of manufacturing and using the same are provided.
Side-loading liftgate having integrated stabilizer leg
A sideloader liftgate system automatically extends a stabilizer leg when a liftgate is deployed, and automatically retracts the stabilizer leg when the liftgate is stored. Adjustment of the liftgate and stabilizer leg is carried out in response to a single user command. The invention prevents a user from forgetting to extend the stabilizer leg for safely using the liftgate, and also prevents a user from forgetting to retract the stabilizer leg before towing the trailer.
AUTOMATED PACKAGE TRANSPORT VEHICLE
Embodiments provide shelves, bracket systems, automated picker robots, totes, and other features that may be used with delivery vehicle configurations that have automated cargo areas. A delivery vehicle may include a picking robot that selectively retrieves packages for delivery without requiring substantial human intervention for locating those packages. The cargo area of the delivery vehicle may further comprise a plurality of customizable shelving units that generate custom-sized shelves for packages. The shelves may include a plurality of individually movable shelf brackets having retaining members that pivot between an extended and retracted position to hold the package in place and to enable the picking robot to retrieve the package from the shelf. Another embodiment provides for a tote having a drive mechanism to hold letters so that a letter may be automatically retrieved from the cargo arear and provided at a delivery location.

Proportional control of vehicle-mounted lifting arms using electronic servomechanism-operated hydraulic valves
A controller for electronically controlling hydraulically operated lifting arms. The controller allows a wide range of quicker movement and slower movement of the lifting arms under proportional control by the operator. An electronic servomechanism is mechanically coupled to a hydraulic valve handle to control the operation of the lifting arms. The servomechanism turns a shaft in response to a proportional controller. The valve handle controls the hydraulic valve stem, allowing the hydraulically operated lifting arms to raise, lower, grip, release, and perform auxiliary hydraulic operations.
Remote start/stop system and method for use with vehicle transport trailers
Improved remote start/stop systems and methods for use with a truck and/or vehicle transport trailer. Embodiments include a transport trailer and truck, the trailer comprising a platform that moves in response to a hydraulic system coupled to the platform. The hydraulic system is powered by the truck engine. A pressure transducer in communication with the hydraulic system is configured to measure a change in hydraulic pressure. A start/stop controller is in communication with the pressure transducer. The start/stop controller is configured to receive the measurements from the pressure transducer, determine to turn off the truck engine in response to the measurements, and provide an message via an indicator in communication with the start/stop controller, the indicator located proximate to a hydraulic control for the first hydraulic system. Some embodiments include a button that may override turning off the truck engine, or cause the truck engine to restart.
PIVOTAL LOADING APPARATUS FOR A TAILGATE
A tailgate assembly is provided for a pickup truck tailgate. The tailgate assembly includes a tailgate, a bracket, an L-shaped platform, and a retractable link. The L-shaped platform is pivotally attached to the bracket, which is selectively attachable to the tailgate. The L-shaped platform pivots about a pivot point to assist in loading objects into the truck bed by lifting them into the truck bed and rolling/sliding them into the truck bed. The retractable link facilitates the pivoting of the L-shaped platform and is attached to the bracket and a distal end of the L-shaped platform.
