A liftgate in accordance with the present disclosure includes a lift mechanism and a moveable load platform. The load platform includes a proximal deck section, a distal deck section, and a center deck section positioned between the proximal deck section and the distal deck section. The load platform is selectively vertically movable between a lowered position and a raised position. The proximal deck section, center deck section, and distal deck section are pivotally coupled to one another such that the load platform is selectively moveable between an extended-operational position, wherein all of the deck sections are located substantially coplanar with one another for supporting cargo, and a retracted-stored position wherein the deck sections are folded with respect to one another and are located substantially parallel and adjacent to one another.

MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE UNDERRIDE
20190143924 · 2019-05-16 ·

A mounting mechanism for mounting an underride system on a structure, comprises a pair of clamping jaws, and a first bracket including a first edge for coupling the underride system thereto. The first bracket further includes a second edge for coupling the pair of clamping jaws thereto. Wherein, the first bracket and the pair of clamping jaws define a jaw opening therebetween configured to receive at least a portion of the structure for removably mounting the underride system on the structure using the mounting mechanism.

LIFT GATE AND MOUNTING CORRECTION SYSTEM

Systems, methods, and devices for correcting a mounting system for mounting a lift gate on a structure, the lift gate having a lift platform supported between a pair of spaced support columns, the correction system including: a first mounting member configured for attachment onto the structure; a first lift gate support column configured for attachment onto the first mounting member; a first correction mechanism configured to couple with a first support block, where the first correction mechanism creates a force between the first lift gate support column and the first mounting member when engaged, resulting in a first corrective gap forming between the first lift gate support column and the first mounting member; and where the resulting corrective gap orients the first lift gate support column to be substantially parallel with a plane parallel to a rear of the structure such that the lift gate platform can be operated.

Apparatus for deploying and retrieving highway panels

An apparatus facilitates the deployment and retrieval of highway panels and includes a work basket mountable on the rearward end of a truck to be vertically moveable relative thereto. A ramp member is detachably mounted on a selected side of the work basket to be movable therewith. A lift member is detachably mounted on a four-bar lift linkage carried by the truck along the selected side thereof. The lift member is vertically movable by the lift linkage to raise the highway panels from the ramp member to the level of the truck bed on which the highway panels are transported. Both the ramp and lift members are formed with rollers on the top surface to facilitate the movement of the highway panels in both deployment and retrieval. Retrieval is accomplished by moving the truck rearwardly and tipping the highway panel so the ramp member can slide underneath the base.

Portable lift apparatus for shipping containers
10179711 · 2019-01-15 ·

A portable lift assembly that is temporarily mountable to the ends of standardized shipping containers, that allows cargo to be loaded and unloaded without a raised loading dock. The assembly includes a frame having pin members that engage standard corner castings on the access end of a shipping container so that the weight of the lift assembly and cargo are borne by the end of the container. Cargo is raised and lowered on a platform, with power being supplied from onboard the portable assembly. The portable assembly may be transported between containers and installed using a forklift or similar machine.

Locking assembly for locking and unlocking a pallet on a support structure
10059571 · 2018-08-28 · ·

The present invention concerns a device for locking/unlocking a pallet on a support structure in a predefined position, including activation means for activating and deactivating the locking of the pallet. The activation means includes studs that are movable and retractable, mounted sliding in side members on each lateral side of the pallet, the studs being capable of engaging in housings provided in the support structure; drive members mounted in the side members of the pallet to move the studs between a retracted position corresponding to unlocking and a laterally protruding position on the side members corresponding to locking; and removable actuation means suitable for being disposed on or in the pallet, in a position in which they mechanically engage with the drive members in order to control the movement of the studs.

LINKAGE BREAKING PARALLEL ARM
