Each autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle comprises one or more compartments configured to contain and secure the assortment of the items to be selected once the summoned autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle arrives to a customer or potential customer.

In some embodiments, a connector carrier includes a chassis and a plurality of electrical connectors fixedly positioned around a periphery of the chassis. In operation, the connector carrier is configured to rotate about a central axis to position a selected one of the electrical connectors in a first position adjacent to an inspection area of the kiosk, and then move toward the inspection area to move the selected electrical connector from the first position to a second position in which a user can connect a mobile phone to the electrical connector.

A mobile generator includes a housing having a top portion, a first side portion, and a second side portion, wherein the first side portion includes an energy-receiving component. The mobile generator also includes an arm pivotally coupled to the housing at a first pivot point and to the first side portion at a second pivot point. A first motion controller is configured to drive rotation of the arm about the first pivot point, and a second motion controller configured to drive rotation of the first side portion about the second pivot point.

A fryer system includes a fryer and an oil storage assembly. The oil storage assembly includes a feed pipe coupled at a first end to a fry pot of the fryer and coupled at a second end to a pump assembly. The pump assembly includes a pump and a valve. The oil storage system further includes a storage pipe coupled at a first end to the pump assembly and coupled at a second end to a storage tank. The fryer system can perform an oil fill operation whereby the pump drives cooking oil from the storage tank to the fry pot and an oil drain operation whereby the pump drives cooking oil from the fry pot to the storage tank. A controller controls the oil fill and oil drain operations and transmits communications to a remote command center. The controller can also transmit communications to a driver display device.

A delivery system includes a database configured to store information of a customer where the information includes a default payment method, a communication system configured to communicate with an autonomous vehicle and with a device of the customer, where the device includes a display screen having a button to summon an autonomous vehicle, at least one processor, and a memory storing instructions. The instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the delivery system to receive an indication via the communication system that the button on the device of the customer has been clicked, and instruct the autonomous vehicle to travel to a location of the customer.
