A TRAILER UNIT FOR TRANSPORTING TRACKED CONSTRUCTIONAL MACHINES
The invention concerns a trailer unit for use with a towing vehicle for transporting tracked constructional machines, such as excavators, said trailer unit including: a pair of wheeled carriages, respectively a left and a right wheeled carriages, adapted to be detachably connected to a pair of track frames, respectively a left and a right track frames, of a tracked constructional machine through first connecting means; a drawbar having a first end adapted to be detachably connected to a rear frame of the towing vehicle and a second end adapted to be detachably connected to a bottom frame of the tracked constructional machine through second connecting means.
SYSTEM FOR TRUCK-MOUNTED/SELF-PROPELLED AERIAL WORK PLATFORM
A system, and associated methods, for use as a log truck are provided herein. The system may be installed onto a chassis of a vehicle, such as a standard truck, and used to transport one or more logs. The system may also be transitioned for use with an aerial lift. The aerial lift may be a self-propelled spider-type lift which is capable of automated self-unloading and loading onto the truck when used with the system described herein. The system may comprise a deck for supporting the aerial lift or one or more logs and a frame configured to be coupled beneath the deck and mounted onto the chassis of the truck.
CARBON FIBER PICK UP BOX
A carbon fiber pickup box floor includes a plurality of integrally formed slide grooves extending longitudinally between the front and rear ends of the box floor configured for providing a glide surface for snowmobile ski carbides, wherein the plurality of integrally formed slide grooves are disposed at predetermined portions of the box floor
Method for transporting a large milling machine self-propelled by ground-engaging units
In a method for transporting a large milling machine self-propelled by ground-engaging units and comprising a machine frame adjustable in height by means of lifting devices using a tractor unit with a fifth-wheel coupling for a semi-trailer couplable behind the tractor unit as seen in the direction of travel, the following steps are specified: a.) positioning the machine frame of the large milling machine for coupling the large milling machine to the fifth-wheel coupling of the tractor unit or to a trailer using the ground-engaging units and/or the lifting devices of the large milling machine, b.) coupling and supporting the machine frame on the fifth-wheel coupling of the tractor unit or on the trailer, c.) repeating steps a) and b) to establish a mechanical connection between the tractor unit and the trailer by means of coupling the tractor unit and the trailer via the machine frame of the large milling machine, d.) using, as a minimum, the machine frame of the large milling machine with the trailer as semi-trailer.
TRUCK RAMP ASSEMBLY FOR SNOWMOBILES
A ramp assembly for loading and unloading a snowmobile to and from a pickup truck bed is mounted to the hitch receiver of the truck and extends rearwardly behind the open tailgate. The ramp assembly includes a pair of spaced apart ski ramps pivotally mounted for movement between a lowered used position and a raised transport position. A center ramp between the ski ramps supports the drive belt of the snowmobile during loading and unloading. A pedestal on the ramp assembly supports the rear end of the snowmobile beyond the truck tailgate when the snowmobile is fully loaded into the truck bed. The center ramp of the assembly is removable for storage and transport and while the truck is being driven.
Unmanned vehicle carrying and deployment
This specification describes systems for unmanned vehicle carrying and deployment. In some examples, a system includes a deployable robot including at least one rotatable flipper disposed on a surface of the deployable robot. The system includes a base unmanned vehicle configured for carrying and deploying the deployable robot. The base unmanned vehicle includes a base robot chassis, and the base robot chassis includes a platform for securing the deployable robot and at least one retention bracket disposed on the platform. The flipper is configured to rotate in a first rotational direction to lock the deployable robot onto the base robot chassis by engaging with the retention bracket.
Trailer unit for transporting tracked constructional machines
The invention concerns a trailer unit for use with a towing vehicle for transporting tracked constructional machines, such as excavators, said trailer unit including: a pair of wheeled carriages, respectively a left and a right wheeled carriages, adapted to be detachably connected to a pair of track frames, respectively a left and a right track frames, of a tracked constructional machine through first connecting means; a drawbar having a first end adapted to be detachably connected to a rear frame of the towing vehicle and a second end adapted to be detachably connected to a bottom frame of the tracked constructional machine through second connecting means.
CONVEYOR SYSTEM WITH TRACK BOGIE AND PIVOTAL KING PIN
This disclosure provides a conveyor system having a track bogie with a pair of continuous tracks. A conveyor chassis is rotatably connected with the track bogie. A pivotal king pin is positioned between the continuous tracks and operable for pivoting between a raised position and a lowered tow position, the raised position allowing for operation of the continuous tracks on a ground surface and the lowered tow position allowing for connection with a tow vehicle.
TRANSPORT TRAILER
A transport trailer includes an elongated body having spaced vertical supports for vertical actuators, a lower deck extending along and supported by the elongated body, and an upper deck supported by the vertical actuators. The upper deck is movable along the vertical supports via the vertical actuators. The upper deck can be lowered to a position to be substantially superimposed on top of the lower deck by the vertical actuators.
Snowmobile assistant device
A wheeled device for increasing the mobility of a snowmobile or ski-bound vehicle, wherein the wheeled device, having a cylindrical axle, is attached to the bolt on the interior of a sled ski underneath the snowmobile sled, which raises the skis off the ground and does not increase the snowmobile sled width. The wheeled device surrounds the interior sled ski bolts and nuts thereon and is tightened onto said bolts and nuts by way of a tightening wheel. The snowmobile is thus able to drive on the wheeled devices so that it can conveniently move from one location to another without damaging the bottom of the skis if on rough or unstable terrain.
