THREE DIMENSIONAL BODY MOVEMENT STRUCTURE
A three dimensional structure that creates improvised movements to break common movement patterns in a subject's body. The structure uses a system that is infinitely configurable through the arrangement of cables and targets. A subject may start a movement on the floor in rolling, and crawling positions. They are given a parameter to follow but not a specific way of making the movement happen.
Rotating climbing unit
A rotating playground device is presented. The rotating playground device comprises a frame configured to rotate, wherein rotation is initiated by a force applied to the frame. The rotating playground device also comprises a braking system configured to limit a speed at which the frame rotates. The rotating playground device is permanently mounted within a playground environment, wherein permanently mounted comprises a frame mounting point coupled to a ground point.
Connector assembly for connecting a rope to a tubular frame
A connector assembly for fastening a rope to a tubular frame includes a pair of sleeves extending inside the tubular frame through a pair of aligned holes. Each sleeve has a flange portion disposed outside the tubular frame and a tubular portion arranged inside the tubular frame. Each sleeve includes a pair of clips biased outwardly of the tubular portion and engaged with an inner surface of the tubular frame. Also, the connecting assembly includes an elongated member coupled with the rope, and extending inside of a first sleeve through a second sleeve. A nut member has a cap portion engaged with the flange portion of the first sleeve, and a hollow cylindrical portion extending inside the first sleeve. The elongated member is disposed, partly, inside and in threaded engagement with the hollow cylindrical portion.
CHALLENGE COURSE WITH RETURN TRACK
An apparatus and system whereby a user can move by guidance of a return track on a challenger course. The return track may extend away from the challenge course and overhang its main frame so the user can experience an element outside of the main frame.
CARRIAGE SYSTEM AND METHOD
Embodiments of the invention provide a safety system for coupling a rider to an amusement attraction with a track assembly including a junction box, and a plurality of control surfaces. The plurality of control surfaces includes slideable and rollable control surfaces. The safety system includes a carriage system for coupling the rider to the track assembly including a main support assembly, and a rolling safety mechanism including a rotatable element. The rotatable element includes a track engagement surface including rolling and sliding surfaces. In some embodiments, the rolling safety mechanism includes a plurality of pucks. Some embodiments include a rolling safety mechanism with a partially truncated ellipsoidal member rotatably mounted to a control support. In other embodiments, the rolling safety mechanism includes two partially truncated ellipsoidal members each positioned at substantially opposite ends of a support frame that includes at least one lanyard support.
Playground climber unit comprising one or more net-containing portions and/or one or more suspended tube portions
Climbing units that provide an enhanced play experience through the incorporation of any of a variety of elements including nets, suspended portions, and coupling elements, and to playground structures that contain those climbing units. In some embodiments, the climber unit may comprise one or more rigid portions and one or more net-containing portions connected end-to-end to produce a continuous climbing pathway. In other embodiments, the climber unit may comprise one or more rigid portions and one or more suspended portions connected end-to-end to produce a continuous climbing pathway. The suspended portion may be attached to adjacent rigid portions by flexible couplers, such that the suspended portion will move when a child climbs through it. In other embodiments, the climber unit may be mounted to an elevated playground structure such that there are no footers connecting the climber unit to the ground.
CLIMBING SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
A climbing system can include a left end base assembly (EBA), the left EBA including a left end support; a right EBA, the right EBA including a right end support; at least one left support rod that extends inboard from the left EBA; at least one right support rod that extends inboard from the right EBA; a plurality of first tethers extending down from the first support rod; a plurality of second tethers extending down from the second support rod; and a climbing lattice, and the plurality of first tethers and the plurality of second tethers connected to and supporting the climbing lattice, with the climbing lattice providing for human climbing engagement.
SPLITTER DEVICE OF OR FOR A BELAY SYSTEM OF OR FOR AN AMUSEMENT FACILITY, BELAY SYSTEM INCLUDING SUCH A SPLITTER DEVICE AND AMUSEMENT FACILITY BEING EQUIPPED WITH SUCH A BELAY SYSTEM
A splitter device for a belay system of an amusement facility on which a belay trolley can be moved and that forms a first free end, a second free end and a third free end arranged angularly to each other in a reference plain, includes a mounting body, a shifting body and a guiding section fastened to the shifting body. The shifting body is rotatably mounted on the mounting body around a rotation axis between a first rotational position and a second rotational position, wherein the rotation axis is running perpendicular to the reference plain. The guiding section connects in the first rotational position a first pair of the three free ends and in the second rotational position a second pair of the three free ends. The splitter device includes a position presetting unit for setting the first rotational position and the second rotational position.
