Method of loading materials into a tank

A tank and a method of holding a load and discharging a load therefrom. The tank includes a body having a first wall that bounds and defines a first compartment for holding a load therein and a second wall spaced outwardly from at least a portion of the first wall; wherein a second compartment is defined between the first wall and the second wall. The tank assembly includes an air piping system that is selectively actuated to place the first compartment and the second compartment under substantially similar or substantially equal air pressure. In one example the air piping system pumps air into the first compartment and the second compartment. In another example the air piping system evacuates air from the first and second compartments.

Heated slurry transport system

A heated slurry transport system for receiving, transporting and unloading a cuttings slurry in a non-frozen manner in cold weather environments. The heated slurry transport system generally includes a portable tank having an interior surface, at least one wall, and a rear door. A layer of insulation surrounds at least a portion of the portable tank to help retain heat within the portable tank. A heating unit is attached to the portable tank and adapted to heat a fluid that is transferred through at least one heat loop attached to the portable tank to heat the interior of the portable tank and the contents of the portable tank.

Cylindrical cargo container construction

A method of manufacturing a cylindrical cargo container includes: providing a plurality of rigid panels together formable into a cylindrical shell; forming a first semi-cylindrical shell from a first set of the panels; forming a second semi-cylindrical shell from a second set of the panels; forming the cylindrical shell from the first semi-cylindrical shell and the second semi-cylindrical shell; forming a collar conformably encircling the cylindrical shell; constricting the collar to compress joints formed at abutting edges of pairs of adjacent panels; rolling the cylindrical shell and collar to bring respective joints of pairs of panels to a lower position, and welding an inside seam of the joint when at the lower position; removing the collar from the cylindrical shell; and rolling the cylindrical shell to bring respective joints of pairs of panels to an upper position, and welding an outside of the joint when at the upper position.

Multi-container side emptying liquid containing drill cuttings transport trailer

A transport trailer and method specifically adapted for safely transporting liquid containing unstabilized drilling waste from more than one waste generator or, multiple waste streams from one or more waste generators. Typically drilling waste is stabilized using binding agents like fly-ash, liquids absorbing pellets or sawdust. In many jurisdictions binding agents are required to stabilize the drill cuttings prior to transport. A sealed transport trailer comprising greater than one container on the transport trailer is described herein which is specifically designed, sized and positioned over a set of axles so as to provide for safe, non-spilling transport, and particular ease of emptying for unstabilized drilling waste.

A deicing fluid recovery system includes a vehicle movable adjacent to an aircraft and including a holding tank configured to store deicing fluid and a receptacle configured to capture deicing fluid from the aircraft during a deicing procedure. During the deicing procedure, deicing fluid runoff from a surface of the aircraft may be captured into the receptacle and transferred from the receptacle into the holding tank. The deicing fluid runoff may be captured into the receptacle before the deicing fluid runoff contacts ground.
