Deployable alarming and safety zone for use with a tanker delivery
A deployable safety zone system includes a truck including a tank and a fuel nozzle assembly and an alarming system including a sensor assembly mounted to the truck. The alarming system defines an alarmed safety zone disposed adjacent the truck and adjacent the fuel nozzle assembly. The sensor assembly defines a perimeter of the alarmed safety zone. The perimeter is free of any physical support structures. A method for creating a deployable alarming and safety zone includes operably engaging an alarming system including a sensor assembly with a truck and deploying an alarmed safety zone including a perimeter adjacent the truck. The perimeter is defined by the sensor assembly and the perimeter is free of any physical support structures.
Aerodynamic device for a tank trailer
An aerodynamic device for a trailer is provided that includes an air fairing or skirt that smoothly transitions into a fender for the wheels of the trailer. The aerodynamic device may be a substantially unibody member that has a forward region, a transition region, and a rear region. The first region defines the aerodynamic skirt beneath the trailer and the second planar region defines the fender for wheels of the trailer such that the fairing smoothly transitions from the skirt beneath the trailer to the fender covering the wheels based the shape of the bend in the transition region.
TANK TRAILER WRAP
An aerodynamic wrap for use with a tank trailer illustratively includes opposing first and second side assemblies. In an illustrative embodiment, each side assembly includes an upper panel pivotably supported by the tank trailer, and a lower panel pivotably supported by the upper panel. A lower connecting member illustratively couples the lower panels of the first and second side assemblies under the belly of the tank trailer.
Unload tee
An unload tee has a tee body with a front side and a rear side. The unload tee further includes a door rotatably connected to front side of the tee body; a catch pin mounted on and projecting from the door; a latch assembly connected to the door, and wherein the latch assembly is positioned towards the front side of the unload tee, and further wherein the latch assembly comprises a latch tab having an ear; and a catch defined as a curve in the ear of the latch tab, wherein the catch is configured to engage the catch pin when the door is in a closed position.
Cargo tank assemblies with ground level access
A cargo tank assembly can include a cargo tank, and a plurality of access ports for the cargo tank, including a manway. A cabinet can be arranged to provide ground-level access to the plurality of access ports. In some embodiments, the cabinet can provide a sole breakable seal for a set of equipment, or for the cargo tank.
Alternative bottom drop and straight tee discharge from bulk tank having various extensions for automatic and manual operations of the tee valve
An alternative bottom drop and straight tee discharge from bulk tank conveying granular material, the tee having extensions for the automatic and manual operations of a disc valve, pivotally located within the horizontal section of the tee, during functioning. The disc valve may be manually operated, or pivoted through motorized operations, to allow for the alternative flow of bulk material from the vehicle hopper. The disc valve has an annular disc, integrally formed with upright supports, that are bearing mounted by shafts to the sidewalls of the structured tee.
Deployable alarming and safety zone for use with a tanker delivery
A deployable safety zone system includes at least a first arm mounted on a support member and being movable between stored and operating positions relative to the support member. The support member and first arm define a safety zone between then when the first arm is in the operating position. The safety system may include reflective mechanisms, light sources, and an alarming system. The alarming system may include a transmitter positioned on one part of the safety system, a receiver positioned on another part of the safety system and an alarm mechanism. A signal may be sent between the transmitter and receiver and if that signal is interrupted, a visual or audible alarm may be generated. Alternatively, the deployable safety zone system may comprise a sensor assembly disposed adjacent the support member The alarmed safety zone is defined between the support member and the sensor assembly.
Sealed closure arrangement for tank opening of agricultural machine
A closure arrangement for a tank includes a tank lid and an opening flange. The opening flange has first and second tank flange lips spaced by an offset distance. The tank flange lips extend toward one side of the tank. The tank has a lid flange with first and second lid lips spaced by an offset distance corresponding to the offset distance. The lid lips extend, at least in part, toward a second side of the tank. The lid lips include first and second walls arranged at a tank interior side of the respective first and second tank flange lips in an offset direction. When the tank lid is closed over the tank opening, one or more seals engage the tank flange lips from the tank interior side and engage the lid lip walls of the lid flange from an exterior side of the tank in the offset direction.
