Pool, large tank, or pond exchanger
09551206 · 2017-01-24 · ·

An exchanger for a pool, large storage tank, or pond is described herein. In one embodiment, the exchanger includes a diffuser hub, exchanger extension arms that extend radially outward from the diffuser hub, one or more exchanger rings that intersect with the heat exchanger extension arms, and a fill tube that extends to the diffuser hub. One or both of the heat exchanger arms and/or the exchanger rings include fluid apertures that direct fluid into the pool. Fluid pumped into the fill tube may flow through into the diffuser, through the exchanger extension arms and/or the one or more exchanger rings, and out through the fluid apertures at various locations into the pool. As such, heated fluid, or fluid to be mixed, for example, may be more evenly and quickly distributed into the pool.

The present invention relates to essential details of the design of an inflatable element (5), which can neither be moved nor deformed by the liquid (3), to its functional operation, and to the resulting predictable and repeatable ability to eliminate turbulent behavior and to influence the behavior of a liquid in a holder (2) or tank suitable for the storage or transport of liquids, in which the element at any liquid level and at any volume of liquid at least completely covers the horizontal liquid surface and in which the element can change both in size and in shape if required necessary by the geometry, the shape or the dimensions of the liquid holder or tank.

Vehicle body having integrated fluid transfer system

A vehicle body. The vehicle body comprises a fluid transfer system integrated within the vehicle body. The fluid transfer system comprises a fluid evacuation system comprising a first fluid storage container, a fluid refill system comprising a second fluid storage container, a sensing system coupled to the fluid evacuation system and the fluid refill system, and a control circuit coupled to the sensing system, the fluid evacuation system and the fluid refill system. The control circuit is configured to (1) determine an amount of a first fluid in the first fluid storage container based on a first signal from the sensing system, and (2) determine an amount of a second fluid in the second fluid storage container based on a second signal from the sensing system.

Systems and methods to heat a fluid contained in a tank attached to a vehicle

The disclosure generally pertains to systems and methods for heating a fluid being transported in a vehicle. An example method includes identifying, by a processor, a target fluid temperature and determining, based on the target fluid temperature, a separation distance between a tank attached to an underbody of the vehicle and an inductive heating element embedded in a road. The processor lowers the tank to a heating position above the inductive heating element based on the separation distance, and retains the tank in the heating position for using the inductive heating element to heat a fluid contained in the tank. The processor may raise the tank to a retracted position upon determining that the fluid has been heated to the target fluid temperature. The processor re-lowers the tank to the heating position upon detecting a drop in temperature of the fluid when the tank is in the retracted position.

FLUID SERVICE ASSEMBLY FOR A SERVICE VEHICLE

A service vehicle includes a service truck with a truck bed and a fluid service assembly. The fluid service assembly includes a fluid service module supported by the bed and a hose reel assembly. The fluid service module includes a housing, a first fluid tank, a first fluid pump, a waste fluid tank, and a waste fluid pump. The first fluid tank is removeably attached to the housing. The first fluid pump pumps the fluid out of the first fluid tank. The waste fluid tank has a waste fluid interior for containing a waste fluid. The waste fluid pump pumps the waste fluid into and out of the waste fluid tank. The hose reel assembly is coupled to the service truck independent of the fluid service module. The hose reel assembly includes a hose reel receives the fluid pumped by the first fluid pump.
