METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DYNAMICALLY CONTROLLING A SLIDE-OUT ASSEMBLY
A method for detecting and dynamically updating an end stop position of a slide-out assembly comprises the steps of: synchronizing a movement of each of at least two slide-out actuators during an extension operation; detecting a decreased speed of each slide-out actuator of the said at least two slide-out actuators; stopping each of the at least two slide-out actuators when the speed reaches an end-stop position threshold; comparing a travel distance of the at least two slide-out actuators to the said last saved travel distance; and updating the said last saved travel distance to a new saved travel distance, if the travel distance is greater than or less than the last saved travel distance. A control system for detecting and dynamically updating the end stop position is also provided.
STOWABLE HARD WALLED PICKUP BED CAMPER
A camper sized to fit atop a pickup truck bed includes: left and right side panels each formed of one or more substantially planar panels together sized to extend along a side of the pickup truck bed; a roof panel formed of one or more substantially planar panels together sized to extend between the left and right side panels and between the front and rear panels; a front panel formed of one or more substantially planar panels together sized to extend across a front side of the pickup truck bed and between the left and right side panels; and a rear panel formed of one or more substantially planar panels together sized to extend across the rear of the pickup truck bed between the left and right side panels. The panels are stackable one flat atop the other and stowable within the truck bed when the camper is disassembled.

A camper sized to fit atop a pickup truck bed includes: left and right side panels each formed of one or more substantially planar panels together sized to extend along a side of the pickup truck bed; a roof panel formed of one or more substantially planar panels together sized to extend between the left and right side panels and between the front and rear panels; a front panel formed of one or more substantially planar panels together sized to extend across a front side of the pickup truck bed and between the left and right side panels; and a rear panel formed of one or more substantially planar panels together sized to extend across the rear of the pickup truck bed between the left and right side panels. The panels are stackable one flat atop the other and stowable within the truck bed when the camper is disassembled.
COLLAPSIBLE CAMPERS, AND ADJUSTABLE COMPONENTS AND ACCESSORIES FOR CAMPERS AND OTHER DWELLINGS
Collapsible campers and shells, and adjustable components and accessories for campers and other dwellings are provided herein. A collapsible dwelling can comprise a collapsible shell comprising an inner shell portion, optionally one or more mid-shell portions, and an outer shell portion, wherein the inner shell portion, the one or more mid-shell portion, and the outer shell portion are adjustably coupled to one another such that the collapsible shell is adjustable from a collapsed configuration to an extended configuration. The collapsible dwelling can comprise a lift system coupled to the collapsible shell and configured to adjust the collapsible shell from the collapsed configuration to the extended configuration.
COLLAPSIBLE CAMPERS, AND ADJUSTABLE COMPONENTS AND ACCESSORIES FOR CAMPERS AND OTHER DWELLINGS
Collapsible campers and shells, and adjustable components and accessories for campers and other dwellings are provided herein. A collapsible dwelling can comprise a collapsible shell comprising an inner shell portion, optionally one or more mid-shell portions, and an outer shell portion, wherein the inner shell portion, the one or more mid-shell portion, and the outer shell portion are adjustably coupled to one another such that the collapsible shell is adjustable from a collapsed configuration to an extended configuration. The collapsible dwelling can comprise a lift system coupled to the collapsible shell and configured to adjust the collapsible shell from the collapsed configuration to the extended configuration.
Vehicle tent
Disclosed herein are embodiments of roof top tent systems that can have an upper portion and a lower portion attached to the upper portion along a first end portion of the upper and lower portions, at least one hinge that can extend along a length of a first end of the tent system, and a first structural panel in the lower portion of the tent system. In some embodiments, the at least one hinge can hingedly attach the upper portion to the lower portion of the tent system and/or can comprise a flap or web of material that extends from the upper portion of the tent system to the lower portion of the tent system. The at least one hinge can include and/or be made from a fabric material.
Portable dwelling unit and construction thereof
A portable dwelling unit comprises a novel floor plan configuration providing a full height bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, and seating area in a portable dwelling that fits within a standard parking spot. Other features and advantages of the present invention include a multi-function table, outdoor dining space, and additional storage capacity beyond what would be available in a traditional trailered dwelling unit.
FOLD-OUT TRANSPORTABLE PARTIAL OR COMPLETE ENCLOSURE
A transportable fold-out at least partial enclosure includes in one aspect of the invention a stationary platform having a major surface defining a stationary plane, a plurality of side edges, a front edge and a back edge. A primary platform has a major surface defining a primary plane, an inside edge, an outside edge, a front edge, a back edge, the inside edge being joined to the stationary platform, the primary platform having a folded position in which the primary plane and stationary plane are oblique or orthogonal, and the primary platform having an extended position where the primary platform is unfolded from the stationary platform. An end wall assembly has at least two segments, each segment having a major surface defining a segment plane, side edges, a top edge and a bottom edge, the side edges of the segments being joined to each other, the bottom edges of each segment being joined to one of the stationary platform and the primary platform. The end wall assembly has an extended position in which the segment planes are at an angle to form a wall to both the stationary plane and the primary plane, and the end wall assembly having a folded position. At least one actuating mechanism is joined to at least one of the segments and the stationary platform or the primary platform to which said at least one of the segments is joined, said at least one actuating mechanism configured to provide a force to urge said at least one of the segments to the extended position.
FOLD-OUT TRANSPORTABLE PARTIAL OR COMPLETE ENCLOSURE
A transportable fold-out at least partial enclosure includes in one aspect of the invention a stationary platform having a major surface defining a stationary plane, a plurality of side edges, a front edge and a back edge. A primary platform has a major surface defining a primary plane, an inside edge, an outside edge, a front edge, a back edge, the inside edge being joined to the stationary platform, the primary platform having a folded position in which the primary plane and stationary plane are oblique or orthogonal, and the primary platform having an extended position where the primary platform is unfolded from the stationary platform. An end wall assembly has at least two segments, each segment having a major surface defining a segment plane, side edges, a top edge and a bottom edge, the side edges of the segments being joined to each other, the bottom edges of each segment being joined to one of the stationary platform and the primary platform. The end wall assembly has an extended position in which the segment planes are at an angle to form a wall to both the stationary plane and the primary plane, and the end wall assembly having a folded position. At least one actuating mechanism is joined to at least one of the segments and the stationary platform or the primary platform to which said at least one of the segments is joined, said at least one actuating mechanism configured to provide a force to urge said at least one of the segments to the extended position.
