WHEEL IN CAR PLATE ASSEMBLIES AND USES THEREOF
A convertible wheel is described that is interchangeably used with at least two different car plate designs and tracks. In particular, there is provided a wheel for use with a bearing and a car plate in a tarpaulin system. The wheel comprises a cylindrical body with a groove, first face, an opposed second face, and a central cavity positioned therebetween for receiving the bearing therein. The first face has a first opening with a first diameter, and the second face has a second opening with a second diameter that is smaller than the first diameter. Either the first face or the second face can be positioned facing the car plate.
Tarpaulin retraction and extension device
A device for covering at least part of a container using a tarpaulin. The device includes a rod to deploy the tarpaulin across the container and an actuator. An arm extends between the actuator and the rod to allow the actuator to rotate the rod, the arm having an arm first end coupled to the rod and an opposed arm second end. The rod is coupled to the container so that the rod second end is movable relative to the container.

Mounting systems and methods for tonneau covers
An embodiment provides a truck cover system that includes a side rail, a cover, and a latching mechanism. The latching mechanisms include a housing attached to the cover, a latch extending through a first end of the housing and configured to engage with a bottom portion of the side rail, a cap attached to a second end of the housing, a plunger attached to the latch and having a first plunger end partially extending through an opening of the cap, an anchor element attached to the first plunger end preventing the first plunger end from entering the housing, and a spring wrapped around the plunger. When the spring is compressed, the latch may disengage with the side rail, and, when the spring is uncompressed, the latch may engage with the side rail.

Tonneau cover assembly with a fluid management system
A bed cap configured for attachment to a top surface of a bed wall defining a cargo area of a vehicle, the bed cap assembly includes: a first channel extending at least partially along a length of the bed cap and configured to collect fluid and/or debris; a first opening for evacuating the fluid and/or debris from the first channel; a tonneau cover supporting surface extending at least partially along the length of the bed cap, wherein the tonneau cover supporting surface comprises a planar surface that is arranged inboard of the channel in vehicle position; and a seal provided between the tonneau cover supporting surface and a bottom surface of a tonneau cover that is supported by the tonneau cover supporting surface.

RETRACTABLE TONNEAU COVER FOR TRUCK BED VEHICLES AND SIMILAR
The retractable tonneau cover for truck bed vehicles and similar, object of the present invention, comprises a mechanism box (100) provided with a winding stress shaft (10), and in the electric model, a drive axle (20) driven by an electric motor that enable the movement of opening and closing a retractable tonneau cover mat. The mechanism box is provided with an embodiment that improves the drainage system in order to prevent the accumulation of water inside it. In addition to the electrical model, the box (100) has a relief on its face that receives the control module with access from the outer portion, which improves accessibility and avoids the need to open the entire set, in case it needs maintenance, further having a management and activation system via Bluetooth and radio frequency.
Auto locking mechanism
Provided herein is an auto locking mechanism for use with a flat bed and a sliding tarpaulin system. The auto locking mechanism comprises a stationary guide having a longitudinal axis, where the stationary guide is securable to the flat bed between the flat bed and the sliding tarpaulin system, and a mobile component slidably coupled to the stationary guide along the longitudinal axis. The auto locking mechanism also includes an actuator that is operatively coupled to the mobile component. The actuator is adapted to impart motion to the mobile component relative to the stationary guide. The auto locking mechanism further includes an engagement arm secured to the mobile component for engagement with the sliding tarpaulin system. Movement imparted on the mobile component by the actuator slides the mobile component and the engagement arm relative to the stationary guide, thereby moving the sliding tarpaulin system relative to the flat bed.
Trailer cover system
A system can include a motor for driving a tarp roller across a trailer for covering and uncovering the trailer with a tarp. The system can also include a power supply for powering the motor. The system can further include a sensor coupled with the motor for sensing power consumed by the motor as the motor is powered to drive the tarp roller across the trailer. A controller can be communicatively coupled with the sensor and operatively coupled to the motor and the power supply for switching an energy characteristic of the power supplied to the motor from the power supply between a first characteristic associated with a lower torque and a second characteristic associated with a higher torque by monitoring the power consumed by the motor and switching the energy characteristic when the power consumed by the motor indicates the lower torque is insufficient to drive the tarp roller.
