The cargo section of the vehicle includes one or more attachments secured to a support surface, and at least two locks disposed on the attachments and spaced apart by a predetermined distance in a length direction. The at least two locks configured to engage the one or more containers. A trailer includes a cargo section having multiple bolsters, for use in the sand haul operation for example, the multiple bolsters including first, second and third bolsters spaced apart along a length direction, each bolster comprising two locks configured to engage a container. The second bolster is spaced from the first bolster by a first distance and the third bolster spaced from the first bolster by a second distance different than the first distance.

Accommodation system for rollable containers in a vehicle, and a vehicle having such a system

An accommodation system for an accommodation space for storing rollable containers in a vehicle. After a front container, which is arranged at the insertion opening, has been removed in the conventional manner, it is possible, through the use of the accommodation system, to remove the rear container which is arranged considerably spaced apart from the insertion opening in the interior of the accommodation space. For this purpose, a rail system is provided in the floor region of the accommodation space. A transfer plate is movable on the rail system in the floor region of the accommodation space and can assume a storage position and a removal position for the rear container.

There is provided a tensioning device for tensioning chains to secure loads on a transport vehicle. The tensioning device comprises first and second U-shaped yokes with parallel arms and an open end for coupling to fitments. The first yoke bottom has a threaded hole, while the second yoke bottom has an unthreaded hole. A threaded bolt rotatably extends through the unthreaded hole and engageably extends through the threaded hole, coupling the first and second yokes together. A limiter with a limiter leg is secured to the first yoke at the open end. The leg limits rotation of a fitment relative to the first yoke. The tensioning device includes a drive assembly having a universal type joint releasably coupleable with the threaded bolt, and an extension bar extending therefrom. Actuating the extension bar of the drive assembly rotates the threaded bolt, moving the first yoke relative to the second yoke.

The disclosure provides a wheelchair-mounting vehicle including a handrail provided in a support shaft and switched between a used position and a stored position as the support shaft rotates, the used position being a position at which the handrail is arranged in a vicinity of a chest area of an occupant of a wheelchair, and the stored position being a position at which the handrail is arranged along a side wall of a vehicle cabin above the used position in the vehicle upper-lower direction. The support shaft in which the handrail for the occupant of the wheelchair in a forward posture is provided is arranged so as to be inclined upward to a front side in the vehicle front-rear direction in a side view.

LASHING DEVICE WITH ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM WHICH HAS A SEPARATE CAM CARRIER
20230117412 · 2023-04-20 ·

Slinging device with adjustment mechanism which has a separate cam carrier The invention relates to a slinging device (1) with a base part (2) and with a hoop part (6) which is attached to the base part (2) so as to be pivotable relative to the base part (2) about a pivot axis (4) which hoop part serves for the slinging of a slinging, load-securing, tensioning or lifting means (28). The slinging device (1) is equipped with an adjustment mechanism (40) which has at least one hoop deflection cam (46, 46a, 46b) and at least one brake probe (42) which, with the pivoting movement (8) of the hoop part (6) relative to the base part (2), passes across the hoop deflection cam at least in certain sections at at least one deflection position (47, 47a, 47b). The adjustment mechanism generates a deflection force (50) which increases with decreasing distance from the at least one deflection position and which is directed counter to the pivoting movement (8). The deflection force makes it more difficult to move the hoop part (6) into the deflection position. In order to be able to easily and inexpensively adapt the slinging device (1) to different usage requirements, it is provided according to the invention that the hoop deflection cam (46, 46a, 46b) is arranged on a separate cam carrier (44) which is attached to the base part (2) or hoop part (6).

SHELF SYSTEM

A shelf system may have a framework with several support members. The support members may support at least one movable shelf. The system may have an upper bracket connected to one of the support members and a rail adapted to permit selective sliding movement of the upper bracket with respect to the rail. The rail may be connected to one of the support members. The rail may extend toward another support member, but it may terminate before it reaches the support member leaving a gap between the rail and support member.

DEVICE FOR AIDING A TRUCK DRIVER IN LOADING OR UNLOADING A CARGO PLATFORM
20230124146 · 2023-04-20 ·

Device for aiding a truck driver in loading/unloading a cargo platform including a grapple that connects to a telescopic handle. The grapple includes two arms forming grooves at the centre. Each arm includes hooks extending in opposing directions to help receive components used for securing a load to the cargo platform such as a flatbed truck. Components include cargo straps, winch straps, edge protectors, chains, binders, clips, plates, flanges, detents, hooks, cables, and the like. The grapple includes a plate member connecting the arms at one side and sliding along the grapple allowing the truck driver to use the grapple along with the telescopic handle. The plate member in conjunction with the grapple allows to hold/place components at desired location for securing the load to the cargo platform. The truck driver adjusts length of the telescopic handle and uses the grapple to hold components during loading/unloading of the cargo platform.
