DIRECTION INDICATION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
An ECU controls light emission drivers so as to respectively cause a direction indication lamp corresponding to a turning direction and an infrared LED at the opposite side from the turning direction illuminate. Specifically, the ECU controls the light emission drivers so as to flash the direction indication lamp toward the turning direction and cause the infrared LED at the opposite side from the turning direction illuminate.
Optical System for Motor Vehicle Headlight
An optical system for a motor vehicle headlight, wherein the system includes at least two optical elements, including a light coupling area, a light decoupling area, a lateral surface which delimits the optical element and which has an optically effective aperture edge for forming a bright/dark boundary in a far-field light distribution producible with the optical system. The optical system includes at least two anterior optics, wherein an anterior optic is associated with each optical element, wherein a first anterior optic is configured to direct light beams along a first coupling direction onto the light coupling area of the optical element associated with it. A second anterior optic is configured to direct light beams along a second coupling direction onto the light coupling area of the optical element associated with it, wherein the first anterior optic and the first optical element are configured to produce a first far-field light distribution, wherein the second anterior optic and the second optical element are configured to produce a second far-field light distribution, which lies below the bright/dark boundary of the first far-field light distribution.
HATCHBACK DOOR FOR MOTOR VEHICLES
A hatchback door includes a load-bearing inner panel made of composite plastic material, a plastic top outer panel glued on a top portion of the inner panel, and a plastic bottom outer panel glued on a bottom portion of the inner panel. The top panel includes a first layer of transparent plastic material and a second layer of opaque plastic material or opaque paint. The opaque layer covers only some of the transparent layer such that the top panel is transparent in a central part overlying a rear-window opening of the inner panel and in its peripheral portions that function as transparent elements for two lateral sets of lights and a third top set of lights. The light sets are without a front transparent element and are connected to a rear side of the top panel. The transparent peripheral portions constitute the front transparent elements of the light sets.
Light source unit and vehicle front lamp using the light source unit
A light source unit including: a first light source module; a second light source module; and a light source arrangement portion between the first light source module and the second light source module. The first light source module and the second light source module are staggered in at least one of a front-and-back direction and a left-and-right direction.
Rear lamp module for vehicle and rear combination lamp having same
A rear combination lamp installed on a vehicle comprises: a first rear lamp module installed on a later part of the rear side of the vehicle; and a second rear lamp module installed on a back door located at the rear side of the vehicle to be arranged adjacent to the first rear lamp module. The first rear lamp module includes a main light source and a sub-light source. The main light source generates light output from the first rear lamp module, and the sub-light source generates light provided to the second rear lamp module. The second rear lamp module includes a light reception unit and a light direction changing unit. The light reception unit receives light from the sub-light source. The light direction changing unit changes a progressing direction of light received in the light reception unit to output light to the outside.
Vehicle lamp
A vehicle lamp includes a lamp chamber, an automatic operation marker lamp unit, and a sensor device. The lamp chamber includes a lamp body and an outer lens, and the automatic operation marker lamp unit and the sensor device are integrated in the lamp chamber. The automatic operation marker lamp unit informs surroundings that a vehicle is being driven automatically, and a sensor device detects information around the vehicle.
LUMINAIRE
Disclosed is a lighting fixture comprising at least three light functions, said lighting fixture being a trifunctional projector. In particular, a vehicle headlight is disclosed, which has in addition to a dipped beam and a main beam a daytime running light and/or a position light as a further light function.
Warning devices with Oscillating Light Patterns
An example warning device can include: a plurality of light sources forming an array; a plurality of reflectors, with at least one reflector being associated with each of the plurality of lights; at least one lens for each of the plurality of lights; and an optical prism plate that directs light from one or more of the plurality of lights to one of a plurality of far field light spots.
LIGHTING ASSEMBLY WITH INTEGRATED OPTICAL DIFFUSER
An integrated lighting element assembly includes a transparent light-transmitting portion and an opaque or translucent optical diffuser. The light-transmitting portion has a light-transmitting surface. The optical diffuser is integrated or co-molded with the light-transmitting element to form a boundary of the light-transmitting surface. A light source is configured to direct incident light into the light-transmitting portion in response to a lighting control signal. A controller may generate the lighting control signal in response to activation of a user input device such as a turn signal lever or transmission mode selection lever. The optical diffuser may be parallel to and contiguous with the longitudinal surfaces of the light-transmitting element. A headlight assembly includes first and second headlights having respective low- and high-beam functions, and the lighting element assembly, which is positioned with respect to one of the headlights.
Vehicle head lamp
Each of a pair of left and right vehicle head lamps includes a plurality of optical units in a lamp chamber. A variable light distribution type optical unit that changes a light distribution mode of a high beam depending on a surrounding state and a traveling state of a vehicle is disposed in a first vehicle head lamp on a passenger seat side, and a figure drawing optical unit capable of forming a desired figure on a road surface in front of the vehicle by emitted light is disposed at a position symmetrical to the variable light distribution type optical unit in a second vehicle head lamp on a driver seat side.
