Vehicle Lighting Control Method and Device
20230015287 · 2023-01-19 ·

A vehicle lighting control method includes that a roadside communications device sends a first message to a vehicle. The first message prompts the vehicle to illuminate a first target, and the first target is near a travel path that the vehicle is to pass through. Before passing the first target, the vehicle adjusts the vehicle into a first lighting mode in advance based on the first message to illuminate the first target.

Multiple position accessory mount

In at least some implementations, an accessory mount for a vehicle includes a first base, a support and a connector coupling the support to the first base. The first base has a first retainer with one or more retention features. The support has a second retainer that has one or more retention features that overlap one or more of the one or more retention features of the first retainer in different positions of the support relative to the first base. At least one of the first retainer and second retainer is movable relative to the other to decouple the first retainer and second retainer without removing the connector from the first base to enable movement of the support to multiple positions relative to the first base.

IMAGING SYSTEM

An imaging system includes a light emitter that emits light toward the surroundings of a vehicle, an imager that captures an image of a range including a region that is illuminated with light emitted by the light emitter, and a difference image generator that generates (n−1) difference images from n captured images captured by the imager (n is an integer no smaller than 3). The difference image generator generates a difference image based on an image included in the n captured images and captured while the light emitter is on and an image included in the n captured images and captured while the light emitter is dimmed.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DRIVING OF VEHICLE
20230017579 · 2023-01-19 · ·

An apparatus and method for controlling driving of a vehicle are provided and the apparatus includes a lamp that projects a lamp light onto one of a left floor surface or a right floor surface of the vehicle, a camera that obtains an image of an area onto which the lamp light is projected, and a controller that determines whether to output a warning based on the image of the area onto which the lamp light is projected when the lamp light is projected onto a boundary stone located around at least one of the left floor surface or the right floor surface of the vehicle.

LIGHT ASSEMBLY FOR ATTACHMENT TO A SURFACE OF A VEHICLE

A light assembly for attachment to a surface of a vehicle. The light assembly includes a vehicle base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle and a light head coupled to the vehicle base. The light head is configured to rotate relative to the vehicle base about a first axis and about a second axis that is different from the first axis. The light head is configured to rotate about the first and second axes at a first speed in response to a first user input, and to rotate about the first and second axes at a second speed that is different from the first speed in response to a second user input.

An illumination control system is configured for operative association with a vehicle lighting system of an emergency vehicle, such as a fire truck or other first responder type of vehicle. The illumination control system includes a video analysis module configured for receiving data from one or more cameras positioned on an exterior of the vehicle, and each camera has an associated region of interest (ROI) defined for a field-of-view for the camera. An artificial intelligence (AI) module is provided to detect whether a person or object of interest has entered the ROI of the camera. The control system includes an algorithm processing module programmed for executing logic associated with one or more decision-making tasks in association with the operation of the AI module. Also, a light control module can be provided for communicating instructions for activating or deactivating various scene lights of the vehicle lighting system.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ASSISTING A DOCKING OPERATION

A vehicle for assisting a docking operation for a marine vessel. The vehicle includes a position sensor operable to detect a position of the marine vessel. A first controller is communicatively coupled with the position sensor. The first controller is operable to receive a first instruction from a second controller corresponding to the marine vessel to monitor the position sensor. The first controller is further operable to receive positional data corresponding to the position of the marine vessel relative to a dock. The first controller is further operable to communicate the positional data to the second controller to assist with the docking operation.
