Golf club including an electronic module
Articles of clothing or pieces of athletic equipment, and particularly golf clubs, include modules, e.g., for sensing physical and/or physiological characteristics associated with use of the clothing or athletic equipment or for performing other functions. Such systems and methods may use physical or other interaction(s) between the module and the article of clothing or piece of athletic equipment for activating and/or deactivating the module and/or sensing devices included with the module, for confirming whether the module and clothing or piece of athletic equipment are authorized for use with one another, and/or for automatic data algorithm selection methods. Additionally, such systems and methods also may use the activation and/or authentication systems for data input to the module. Some examples of such systems and methods may utilize magnets and magnetic sensing systems and/or light (or other radiation) sources and sensing systems for activation, authentication, data input, and/or algorithm selection.
Golf club simulation apparatus
A golf club simulation apparatus includes an elongate shaft housing having opposed lower and upper ends and defining an interior area. A head housing is coupled to the lower end of the shaft housing. A battery is situated in the shaft housing. An input member configured to receive club selection data is coupled to an outer surface of the shaft housing and electrically connected to the battery. A weight indexing assembly is situated in the head housing that includes a tumbler rotatably coupled to the lower portion of the shaft housing and that includes a weight carriage situated in the club head housing. The tumbler has an outer surface defining an indexed slot network, the weight carriage being in communication with the indexed slot network and configured for movement along the indexed slot network in a gravity assisted movement.
Sliding handle training bat
A training bat has a central rod extending through the longitudinal length of the bat. A knob may be located at a proximal end of the bat. A handle located immediately distal to the knob may slide along the length of the rod. A cone section may be located distal to the handle. The knob and cone section may limit the longitudinal sliding of the handle. A barrel section may be located distal to the cone section. If the barrel section includes an interior chamber, the distal end of the barrel section may include a removable cap. Weights, springs, pins and other objects may be located inside the barrel section. Electrical components or other devices may also be included in the cone section, barrel section or cap. The handle may include an acoustic chamber and an amplifying chamber to provide for emission of a sound when the bat is swung. The acoustic chamber and amplifying chamber may also incorporate safety features.

Multi-positioning exercise machine with dynamic resistance
An exercise machine which allows a user to perform a variety of exercises using dynamic resistance. The exercise machine includes a platform base, a housing tower, an upper-left exercise module, an upper-right exercise module, and a control console. The upper-left exercise module and the upper-right exercise module each comprise a primary torque motor, a primary cable, a pulley system, a structural arm, and a primary handle. The housing tower is connected onto the platform base. The upper-left exercise module and the upper-right exercise module are integrated into the housing tower and provide a means for applying a resistance force onto the extremities of the user. The primary cable tensionably engages the pulley system and connects the primary handle to the primary torque motor. The primary handle rests within and against the structural arm, attached to the housing tower. The control console allows for external device compatibility.
