20220063485 · 2022-03-03 ·

Vehicular communication systems and methods are disclosed, including one or more media devices. A host device inside a vehicle is coupled to a media device that is adaptable to being mounted to the vehicle. The media device includes a display configured to display a default image. The host device is configured to receive data associated with a predefined direction of the vehicle from vehicle operation sensors on the vehicle and receive traffic data from one or more application servers. In response to the data, the host device determines a vehicle status and transmits media content to be presented on the display, including at least one road sign. The host device is further configured to establish a link with a second media device including a display and transmit instructions to project the media content.

BUS SAFETY ARM

A safety sign device is for a vehicle. The safety sign device may include a hinge being coupled a side of the vehicle, and an arm. The arm may include an elongate base, an electric motor coupled to the elongate base, an elongate housing coupled to the elongate base, and visual indicators carried by the elongate housing. The safety sign device may also include a sign coupled to the arm and being parallel to the arm. The hinge may include a pin, and a link assembly coupled between the pin and the electric motor and being rotatable about the pin. The electric motor may be configured to extend and retract the arm between a retracted position and an extended position.

A vehicle includes a charging dock carried by the vehicle, a safety arm carried by the vehicle, a battery carried by the safety arm, and a light source on the safety arm that is in electrical communication with the battery. The battery is in electrical communication with the charging dock and the charging dock charges the battery.

SAFETY ZONE WITH BREAKAWAY FOR USE ON A TANKER TRUCK
20210323464 · 2021-10-21 · ·

A vehicle includes a safety arm and a coupler on the safety arm. The coupler couples the first safety arm to the vehicle. The first safety arm is adapted to fall away from the vehicle without damaging the vehicle when the safety arm contacts an object.

WIRELESS VEHICLE LIGHTING

A flexible, sheet-like, multi-layered lighting assembly for applying to a surface. The lighting assembly includes an on-board power source for powering the lighting assembly. The lighting assembly includes a sheet-like electroluminescent light source that is activated by power from the power source, and when activated, emits light. The power source may include a flexible thin sheet-like battery, a wireless power receiver, or a combination thereof. The wireless power receiver may receive power from a power signal generated by a wireless power transmitter; and may operate to directly power the electroluminescent light source, or may recharge the battery. The lighting assembly includes outer and inner polymer layers for protecting the other layers of the lighting assembly, and an adhesive layer on the inner polymer layer for adhering the lighting assembly to a surface.

Glass fastening and sealing systems

A glass sealing system includes a glass portion and a first adhesive layer disposed along an exterior surface of the glass portion. The glass sealing system also includes a cover with a first surface secured to the first adhesive layer and a second surface opposing the first surface. The glass sealing system includes a second adhesive layer disposed on the second surface and configured to secure the cover to a support structure. The cover obscures the second adhesive layer from view of a user looking through the glass portion toward the support structure.

System and method for collision prevention

A vehicle frontal illumination system includes a bracket attached to a front of a vehicle, where the bracket includes a light receiving surface that faces the front of the vehicle. The system also includes one or more lights attached to the light receiving surface of the bracket such that the one or more lights face the front of the vehicle. The system further includes a control system in communication with the light, where the control system is configured to turn the one or more lights on to illuminate the front of the vehicle to reduce the likelihood of an animal vehicle collision.

Large vehicle signaling system

A large vehicle signaling system utilizing at least two signals in conjunction with the vehicle's lighting system to mirror the vehicle's brake and turn signals. The at least two signals may be attached to the rear face of the vehicle or brackets that allow them to pivot and move away from the rear face when not in use. The at least two signals should be positioned at a height of at least 80 inches from the ground so that they may be seen by a driver even if there are other vehicles between the driver and the large vehicle. When positioned in this way, the signaling system may allow for drivers of large vehicles to maneuver more safely as other drivers will be more aware of their signals.

EXTERNAL CONDENSER AND LIGHT ASSEMBLY

An external automotive condenser and light assembly for mounting on a body of a vehicle, the condenser and light assembly includes a condenser housing having a top portion defining at least one top opening and a bottom portion defining at least one bottom opening. The condenser housing includes a front face so as to permit at least one warning light to be affixed thereto. The condenser housing includes a right face extending rearward from the front face. The condenser housing includes a left face extending rearward from the front face. At least one warning light is affixed to an exterior of the front face.

Compaction machine

A ROPS (protective structure) (15) is obtained by coupling upper ends of a pair of leg portions (15a) with a coupling portion (15b) and forming an arc-shaped curved portion (15c) between each of the leg portions (15a) and the coupling portion (15b), and is arranged so as to straddle vehicle bodies (4 and 5) and fixed. A working light (17) is fixed to the left curved portion (15c) via a mounting bracket (19), and a rotary light (18) is detachably mounted by fixing a mounting bracket (20). A protect region (E) formed into an approximately triangular shape is formed by the curved portion (15c) of the ROPS (15), a lateral restriction line (L1) in which a left-side surface corresponding to a maximum width of the vehicle bodies (4 and 5) is extended upward and an upper restriction line (L2) in which a maximum height of the ROPS (15) is extended laterally. The working light (17) and the mounting brackets (19 and 20) are arranged in the protect region (E), thereby preventing an outward protrusion.
