Mesh lighting system for emergency vehicles
A mesh lighting system for emergency vehicles and method for retrofitting a vehicle with emergency lights is disclosed. The system comprises a plurality of independent signalling light sources each supplied by a dedicated source of energy, a control module, and a low powered wireless network connecting said control module with the plurality of light sources. The plurality of independent signalling light sources emit at least one light flash in response to a control signal received from the control module.
Light bracket for use on truck grille
A first LED lamp bracket is provided that can be fixed to an interior portion of a front grille section that is part of an engine hood assembly of a motorized vehicle. The LED lamps are located on the LED lamp bracket such that they are clearly visible through the engine hood front grille assembly. The LED lamp bracket assembly is designed such that it takes advantage of the spacing of the grille openings such that the LED lamps are visible when the LED lamp bracket is attached to the motorized vehicle. The first LED lamp bracket can be used with a 2014 Ford F150 truck. According to further aspects of the embodiments, a second LED lamp bracket assembly is provided that includes substantially identical design features, but which is fitted to a 2015 Ford F150 truck.
Firefighting or rescue apparatus including a light integrated handle
A firefighting or rescue apparatus includes a frame, cab and/or body to which a signal light grab handle or elongated light integrated handle is mounted. The handle is operable in an illumination mode in which the grab handle emits illumination in a predefined manner, and a sleep mode in which the grab handle emits no illumination. The grab handle includes a light strip including a plurality of light sources, such as LEDs. This strip can be coupled to a wire that extends through one or more handle attachment brackets, and through an exterior outer panel of the apparatus. The light grab handle provides at least one of warning lights, brake lights and signal lights to observers of the firefighting apparatus when actuated.
Firefighting or rescue apparatus including an integrated grab handle and signal light
A firefighting or rescue apparatus includes a frame, cab and/or body to which a signal light grab handle is mounted. The signal light grab handle is operable in a flashing mode in which the signal light grab handle emits illumination in a predefined flashing pattern, and a sleep mode in which the signal light grab handle emits no illumination. The signal light grab handle includes a light strip including a plurality of light sources, such as LEDs. This strip can be coupled to a wire that extends through upper and/or lower handle attachment brackets, and through an exterior outer panel of the apparatus. The signal light grab handle provides at least one of warning lights and signal lights to observers of the firefighting apparatus when actuated.
Hazard Alert System
A hazard alert system includes a vehicle that has a back side. A sign is removably coupled to said vehicle when the vehicle is parked on the side of a roadway. Thus, the sign may alert oncoming traffic to the vehicle. The sign includes an arrow. The sign is oriented in a selected manner such that the arrow points toward a selected side of the vehicle.
Towing accessory for tow lights and method of operating
Provided are a towing accessory for vehicles and method of operating them. The accessory comprises a mounting frame; suction cups, mounted to the frame in a spaced-apart arrangement; and a ferromagnetic attachment member attached to the frame at a side opposite the suction cups. Magnetic tow light system may thus attach to vehicles surfaces that are not magnetic via the accessory. The accessory has rotatable adjustments to enable the lights to face the required direction and mount to contours of the vehicle.
LIGHTING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
A control system of a self-driving vehicle (SDV) can process sensor data from a sensor system of the SDV to autonomously control acceleration, steering, and braking systems of the SDV along a current route. Based on the current route, the control system can dynamically determine a set of immediate actions to be performed by the SDV. Based on the set of immediate actions, the control system can generate a set of intention outputs on a lighting strip of the SDV, the set of intention outputs indicating the set of immediate actions prior to the SDV executing the set of immediate actions.
Modular vehicle light
A modular vehicle light comprises multiple elongated modules which are disposed in end-to-end relationship. The modules are mechanically joined and electrically connected in series. The modules are preferably substantially identical. Each module contains a power board with a microprocessor and a buffer. The microprocessor transmits signals to a matrix of LEDs. The LEDs emit light which transverses an optical assembly to form a narrow band of illumination. In one embodiment, a linear matrix of 36 LEDs comprising 3 color groups of LEDs is employed. Fasteners captured in a bracket at the rear of the module fasten the vehicle light to the vehicle.
RAIL LIGHTING AND LAMP ATTACHMENT FOR AUTOMOTIVE CREEPER
An illumination attachment apparatus for an automotive creeper is disclosed herein. The apparatus includes light sources, a rechargeable power supply source for supplying electric energy to the light sources, wiring for routing the electric energy to the light sources, cables for encasing the wiring, rails having a channel for circumscribing a portion of the creeper, and magnets disposed within each channel for magnetically attaching and detaching the apparatus to the creeper.
Vehicle lamp system
This vehicle lamp system, which is used together with a vehicle control unit that controls the travel state of a vehicle and a mode determination unit that can determine an automatic driving mode of another vehicle, comprises a lamp mounted on the vehicle, and a lamp control unit which, depending on the mode signal outputted by the mode determination unit, controls the lamp in different ways (for example, displaying an arrow with road surface rendering).
