A SAFETY DEVICE
A safety device (2) for a motor vehicle (4) comprising a surface (6) of or mounted to the motor vehicle (4), which surface is arranged to transmit a warning signal towards oncoming other vehicles.
LIGHTING GRILL ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Disclosed are a lighting grill assembly for a vehicle and a method of manufacturing the same, the lighting grill assembly for a vehicle a grill cover, a black paint portion painted using a black paint on a rear surface of the grill cover, and the black paint portion forming a light transmitting portion through which light passes by removing a part of the painted black paint, an inner lens spaced apart from the rear surface of the grill cover in a rearward direction, and a metal layer is deposited on a surface of the inner lens, and a light source configured to radiate light from a rear of the inner lens.
LAMP UNIT AND VEHICLE LAMP
Problem: To provide a light source unit that can be housed in a narrow space, can be curved to match the shape of the space, and can emit linear light in a desired lighting pattern, and a vehicle lamp equipped with this light source unit.
Solution: A light source unit 1 is comprised of a strip of translucent film 3 in which LEDs 2 are embedded and strips of lenses 4 that cover the translucent film 3 on the top and back surfaces thereof. The lenses 4 are provided with a light collecting portion 41 that collects the light from the LEDs 2 and a reflective portion 42 that changes the direction of the light incident from the light collecting portion 41 on the surface opposite the surface on which the light collecting portion 41 is provided. The LEDs 2 are arranged linearly along the longitudinal direction of the translucent film 3, and each can be independently controlled for lighting.
VEHICLE FRONT ALERT SYSTEM
A lighting system enables a lighting pattern to be displayed on a vehicle when the vehicle is in motion. A lighting pattern may include lights that fluctuate (with respect to luminosity) or lights that stay, that is, are solid, at the same luminosity. The length of time that a light, such as an LED lamp, is powered on may vary. Similarly, the amount of time between two adjacent lights are powered off and powered on may also vary. As such, the lighting sequence is flexible and can be customized so that all lights are not on for the same length of time and the time between two lights being powered may vary. A vehicle front alert system allows for improved perception of speed of an approaching vehicle, human, or object.
Vehicle Light System
The present invention relates generally to the field of vehicle lights. More specifically, the present invention relates to a multipurpose vehicle light that can be removably attached to an external surface of a vehicle or vessel. The device is solar or battery powered, does not rely on the vehicle's power source to operate, and can be removably attached to a vehicle exterior without damaging or permanently modifying the exterior. The device is further comprised of a USB port and a charging case to recharge the device, a light source comprised of a plurality of LEDs that may be remote controlled or automatically activated, a camera and a speaker.
LED light hood scoop for a jeep wrangler
The present invention provides a method of installing a hood scoop to a designated recessed area of a hood of a Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon vehicle comprising: providing the hood scoop having a protective member and a hood attachment member having a first cable access feature wherein: edge profile of the hood attachment member matches edge profile of the designated recessed area; the designated recessed area includes a hood aperture that provides access to the vehicle's electrical power and control systems; attaching the attachment member to the designated recessed area using conventional attachment means; and attaching a light fixture to the hood scoop wherein the light fixture's cables pass through the first cable access feature and the hood aperture for communication with the vehicle's electrical power and control systems. The present invention also provides the hood scoop described herein.
Front grille light assembly for emergency vehicles
The present disclosure provides a lighting assembly configured to mount to the front-end of a vehicle without removal of an existing vehicle grille or fascia. The lighting assembly of the present disclosure further provides for lighting on the side-facing edge of the front-end of the vehicle to provide for improved visibility resulting in safer operation of the lighted vehicle.
Vehicle lighting device
In order to ensure accuracy for positioning two molding members spaced from each other and an outer lens disposed in an opening between the two molding members, a vehicle lighting device includes: a first molding member; a second molding member that is formed separately from the first molding member and is spaced from the first molding member through an opening; and an outer lens, disposed in the opening, having a transmissive surface through which lamp light is transmitted from a depth side toward a front side. The first molding member and the second molding member each have a molding-side positioning portion configured to be positioned relative to the transmissive surface of the outer lens. The outer lens has a first lens-side positioning portion configured to be positioned relative to the first molding member and a second lens-side positioning portion configured to be positioned relative to the second molding member.
LIGHT SIGNALING SYSTEM
A light signaling system for a vehicle having a vehicle lighting system and an auxiliary lighting system for use with an auxiliary device. The light signaling system includes a control module mounted to the vehicle. The control module is electrically coupled to one or more lights of the vehicle lighting system of the vehicle and to one or more lights of the auxiliary lighting system. The control module is configured to cause one or more lights, to which it is electrically coupled, to flash on and off.
Selective illumination of charging port status indicators for an electrified vehicle
This disclosure relates to selective illumination of charging port status indicators for an electrified vehicle. An example electrified vehicle includes a charging port configured to couple to a plug, a charging port status indicator configured to selectively illuminate to indicate a charging status of the charging port, and a controller configured to instruct the charging port status indicator to illuminate when data is transmitted via the charging port. A method is also disclosed.
