EXTERNAL CLADDING COMPONENT OF OR FOR A VEHICLE AND VEHICLE COMPRISING SUCH AN EXTERNAL CLADDING COMPONENT
An external cladding component of or for a vehicle, by which information can be displayed, is disclosed. The cladding component has a base body with a first surface and a second surface, the second surface facing to the exterior of the cladding component, and an aperture running through the base body, and a light source providing a beam of light, wherein the light source is at least partially arranged within the aperture and protrudes the second surface, or the beam of light is running through the aperture, wherein the beam of light at least partially impinges on an illumination section provided by the second surface.
A SAFETY DEVICE
A safety device (2) for a motor vehicle (4) comprising a surface (6) of or mounted to the motor vehicle (4), which surface is arranged to transmit a warning signal towards oncoming other vehicles.
Automatic safety tripod for vehicle
An automatic safety tripod for a vehicle includes a frame formed in a housing with one open surface, and a display part of which one portion is connected to the frame, the display part being folded or unfolded to be inserted into or protrude out of the frame. The frame includes a rotation bar in the frame, and having screw threads at opposite ends thereof, the screw threads being screwed to one side of the frame, a motor provided at the center of the rotation bar and rotating the rotation bar; pulleys provided at opposite sides of the rotation bar based on the center portion, and a wire of which a first portion is connected to each of the pulleys and a second portion is connected to the display part, the wire moving the frame by rotation of the pulley.
Refueling vehicle
A refueling vehicle may have a front fuel dispensing module with at least one or more hoses for dispensing fuel product from the fuel tank to an external tank. The front fuel dispensing module is located between the cab and the fuel tank containing the fuel product.
DEPLOYABLE WARNING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A vehicle defines a vehicle footprint. The vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis that accommodates an operator, and a warning system coupled to a portion of the vehicle. The warning system includes a warning device and a deployment mechanism coupled to the warning device. The warning device includes at least one of a light assembly having a plurality of lights, a flag, or a sign. The deployment mechanism is configured to facilitate repositioning the warning device between a stowed position and a deployed position. When in the stowed position, the warning device is completely positioned within or substantially positioned within the vehicle footprint. When in the deployed position, the warning device extends out of the vehicle footprint and is positioned at a height sufficient so as not to impede the operator as the operator moves around the vehicle footprint.
Vehicle light assembly including a movable light signature member
A vehicle light assembly including one or more movable light signature members that are selectively translated from a first position partially or wholly in front of conventional light units (low beams, high beams, taillights, etc.) to a second position away from the light units when the light units are in use. Thus, for example, the movable light signature member(s) can include one or more LEDs or the like that are illuminated to act as daytime running lights, turn signal indicators, accessory lights, etc. when they are disposed in front of the light units and when the low beams, high beams, or taillights are not in use. This provides the desired light signature. When the low beams, high beams, or taillights are in use, the movable light signature member(s) are translated out of the way, such that the light units are visible adjacent to and/or between the movable light signature member(s).
Safety sign device with modular dual signs and related methods
A safety sign device is for a vehicle. The safety sign device includes a first sign having proximal and distal end, a first hinge being coupled to the proximal end of the first sign, the first hinge being coupled to a side of the vehicle, and a second sign being coupled to the side of the vehicle and being substantially parallel to the side of the vehicle. The first hinge is configured to extend and retract the first sign between a retracted position and an extended position. The first and second signs may be transverse to each other in the extended position, and may be flat against the side of the vehicle in the retracted position. The safety sign device includes a first flexible arm coupled to the first hinge and having an elongate housing, and visual indicators carried by the elongate housing.
School Bus Stop Sign Assembly
A school bus stop sign assembly for enhancing safety of children entering and exiting a school bus includes a hinging unit that is coupled to an outer wall of a school bus. The hinging unit is actuated into a deployed position and a stored position. A member is coupled to the hinging unit and the member extends outwardly from the school bus when the hinging unit is actuated into the deployed position. Thus, the member extends across a roadway on which the school bus is driving to inhibit a vehicle from passing the school bus thereby enhancing safety for children entering or exiting the school bus. A pair of video cameras is each coupled to the member to capture imagery of the environment around the member.
MOVING BODY
A moving body is configured to perform autonomous operation. The moving body includes: a first body including at least one wheel and configured to travel by the at least one wheel; a second body attachable to and detachable from the first body; and a display circuit arranged to face an outer side of the first body. The display circuit is configured to display at least a first schematic pattern of a first eye and a second schematic pattern of a second eye.
ILLUMINATION DEVICE AND MOUNTING METHOD
An illumination device for a vehicle, having a housing in which a functional module and an actuating unit are arranged, wherein the actuating unit has a drive apparatus and a linear actuating element that is coupled to the functional module so that the functional module can be pivotably moved about a horizontal and/or vertical axis, wherein the drive apparatus is placed in contact with at least one circuit board integrated in the illumination device in a mounted position of the actuating unit so that both the drive apparatus of the actuating unit and the functional module are electrically connected by the same circuit board to an electrical system of the vehicle.
