Software application and logic to modify configuration of an autonomous vehicle
Various embodiments relate generally to autonomous vehicles and associated mechanical, electrical and electronic hardware, computer software and systems, and wired and wireless network communications to provide an autonomous vehicle fleet as a service. In particular, a method may include identifying a location of a user device associated with a user, transmitting a command to an autonomous vehicle system associated with an autonomous vehicle service to transit to the location, and providing information associated with the user device to the autonomous vehicle system, where the information includes configuration data to adapt one or more sub-systems of the autonomous vehicle. Sub-systems of the autonomous vehicle may include interior lighting, ambient sound, road handling, seating configuration, communication synchronization, and temperature control systems.
Passive illuminated grille
A vehicle grille assembly is disclosed that is passively illuminated by accent lighting sources provided in a corresponding headlamp assembly. A primary light guide in communication with a light source and a secondary light guide is disposed within the vehicle grill. The secondary light guide receives light from the primary light guide to illuminate a portion of the vehicle grille.
Vehicle headlight
A vehicle headlight includes a low beam light module and a appearance light module, which are embodied, arranged and designed such that, in a low beam mode, less than 30% of the light intensity emitted by the vehicle headlight with respect to a vertical orientation above the light-shadow line and with respect to the horizontal orientation in the direction of travel, is generated by the low beam light module.

Headlamp assembly having a dual filament bulb with an amber lens and cover lens to spread light to provide forward and side facing turn signals and side markers
Optical features of a light bulb, a bezel, an amber lens, and a cover lens of a headlamp assembly combine such that the headlamp assembly can meet all requirements for forward-facing turn signal, side-facing turn signal, side marker light, and side reflex refractor functionality with a single light bulb including two filaments.

System and method for collision prevention
A vehicle frontal illumination system includes a bracket attached to a front of a vehicle, where the bracket includes a light receiving surface that faces the front of the vehicle. The system also includes one or more lights attached to the light receiving surface of the bracket such that the one or more lights face the front of the vehicle. The system further includes a control system in communication with the light, where the control system is configured to turn the one or more lights on to illuminate the front of the vehicle to reduce the likelihood of an animal vehicle collision.
Vehicle Luminaire and Vehicle Lighting Tool
A vehicle luminaire according to an exemplary embodiment includes: a socket; and a light-emitting module that is provided on one end side of the socket and includes at least one light-emitting element, a negative characteristic thermistor, and a positive characteristic thermistor. The light-emitting element, the negative characteristic thermistor, and the positive characteristic thermistor are connected in series.
Exterior lighting and warning system
A vehicle may have vehicle controls that are used in steering, braking, and accelerating the vehicle. The vehicle may have sensors that gather information on vehicle speed, orientation, and position. The sensors may also gather information on relative speed between the vehicle and a following vehicle, information on risks of a collision between a vehicle and an external object, and other vehicle status information and vehicle operating environment information. Control circuitry may use light-based devices to display braking information, information on vehicle speed, the relative speed between a vehicle and a following vehicle, autonomous driving mode status information, custom brake light information or other user-selected information, or other information on vehicle status and the operating environment of a vehicle.
