MULTIFUNCTION LIGHTING MODULE AND ITS USE
An integrated lighting insert is provided for multi-function automotive vehicle lighting that has minimal space requirements and provides different lighting functions in a single device with an electronic control module that can easily interface with vehicle electronics. The insert a housing and a plurality of light transmission portions, a plurality of light sources integrated into the housing, each one configured for a different predetermined function associated with a particular use of a condition of or a state of the automobile. An electrical circuit is used along with a communications bus and individual controller circuits associated with the light sources fix controlling the light functions.

The utility vehicle includes a floor pan defining a planer rear storage surface and left and right foot wells separated by a longitudinally extending drive shaft hump. The foot wells define inwardly tapered inner rear wheel wells. The wells each have a characteristic depth below the rear storage surface, a lateral width and a longitudinal length. The cargo management system includes left, right and center container portions, each having a base member including integrally formed floor and circumferentially arranged wall members nested within a foot well. The container portions each have a base member including integrally formed floor and wall members configured to be nested within a respective foot well. The closure members are each affixed to an inner wall member of said container portion by an elongated hinge.

The system/component may comprise a base providing a compartment, a cover, a module comprising a radiation source and a control panel providing a user interface. The radiation source may administer radiation to the object; the user interface may be configured for operation of the module; the user interface may provide a signal; the signal may comprise an audible signal and/or a light signal. The radiation source may comprise an ultraviolet light source. The system may be operated according to a control program. The compartment may contain the object and the light source may comprise an LED arrangement to direct light onto the object in the compartment. The dose of radiation may be intended to sanitize biomatter. A method of operating the system/component is also disclosed.

The radiation source may comprise an ultraviolet light source. The system may be operated according to a control program. The compartment may contain the object and the light source may comprise an LED arrangement to direct light onto the object in the compartment. The dose of radiation may be intended to sanitize biomatter. A method of operating the system/component is also disclosed.
