Under hood light
A carrier assembly for a light includes a main housing having a first end, a second end, and a main axis extending between the first end and the second end. The carrier assembly also includes an extension member slidably coupled to the main housing for movement along the main axis between a retracted position and an extended position. The extension member is biased toward the retracted position. The carrier assembly further includes a wireform hook extending from the first end of the main housing. The wireform hook includes two legs coupled to the extension member for movement with the extension member. The carrier assembly also includes a bracket member coupled to the wireform hook. The bracket member includes a base material extending between the two legs of the wireform hook and a second material overlaying a portion of the base material. The second material is softer than the base material.

A carrier assembly for a light includes a main housing having a first end, a second end, and a main axis extending between the first end and the second end. LIGHTING APPARATUS FOR TENTS AND CANOPIES
Tents and canopies are ubiquitous for outdoor recreation and gatherings. Tents and canopies are poorly lit, especially during night time. Camping lights such as lanterns are ineffective for lighting the entire space of a tent or canopy. To address these issues, a lighting apparatus can improve the quality of lighting inside a tent or a canopy by lighting a tent using a plurality of flexible strips having lighting elements thereon and providing a housing enclosing a lighting controller circuit for controlling the lighting elements. The flexible strips are electrically coupled to the lighting controller and extends away from the lighting controller. The housing can be hung inside, near the top center point of the tent or canopy to illuminate not only the area inside the tent or canopy, but also the tent or canopy itself. The lighting apparatus has a unique physical design suited for tents, canopies, and automobiles.

A multi-function car-mounted charger comprises a main housing, a lighting housing, a power input portion, a main circuit, a rechargeable battery, a magnet, a power output portion and a lighting portion; the power input portion, the main circuit, the rechargeable battery, the magnet, and the power output portion are disposed in the main housing; the lighting portion is disposed in the lighting housing; the power input portion, the rechargeable battery, the power output portion, and the lighting portion are electrically connected with the main circuit respectively; the power input portion comprises a first electrode and a second electrode, both of which are electrically connected with the main circuit respectively; and the first electrode is provided with a cone body. The car-mounted charger is diverse in function and may be attracted onto a car shell through the magnet.

A multi-function car-mounted charger comprises a main housing, a lighting housing, a power input portion, a main circuit, a rechargeable battery, a magnet, a power output portion and a lighting portion; the power input portion, the main circuit, the rechargeable battery, the magnet, and the power output portion are disposed in the main housing; the lighting portion is disposed in the lighting housing; the power input portion, the rechargeable battery, the power output portion, and the lighting portion are electrically connected with the main circuit respectively; the power input portion comprises a first electrode and a second electrode, both of which are electrically connected with the main circuit respectively; and the first electrode is provided with a cone body. The car-mounted charger is diverse in function and may be attracted onto a car shell through the magnet.

A portable and rechargeable lighting apparatus includes an elongated housing having a radially-central cavity extending longitudinally along the elongated housing; one or more light emitting diodes (LEDs) affixed to a surface of the elongated housing and operable to emit light; one or more rods operable to extend coaxially from the radially-central cavity; one or more hooks coupled to distal ends of the respective one or more rods; and a battery operable to power the one or more LEDs.

A portable and rechargeable lighting apparatus includes an elongated housing having a radially-central cavity extending longitudinally along the elongated housing; one or more light emitting diodes (LEDs) affixed to a surface of the elongated housing and operable to emit light; one or more rods operable to extend coaxially from the radially-central cavity; one or more hooks coupled to distal ends of the respective one or more rods; and a battery operable to power the one or more LEDs.
LIGHT ASSEMBLY
A light assembly is provided for attachment to a surface of a vehicle with a power source. The light assembly comprises a light head including a light, a light head terminal in electrical communication with the light, and a first mounting structure. The light assembly further comprises a first base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle. The first base includes a second mounting structure configured to mate with the first mounting structure such that the light head can be removably secured on the first base. The first base also includes a conductor configured to couple to the power source of the vehicle. The first base also includes a first base terminal in electrical communication with the conductor and configured to mate with the light head terminal to provide power to the light when the light head is secured on the first base. The light assembly further comprises a second base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle. The second base is different than the first base. The second base includes a third mounting structure configured to mate with the first mounting structure such that the light head can be removably secured on the second base. The second base also includes a battery and a second base terminal in electrical communication with the battery. The second base terminal is configured to mate with the light head terminal to provide power to the light when the light head is secured on the second base.
LIGHT ASSEMBLY
A light assembly is provided for attachment to a surface of a vehicle with a power source. The light assembly comprises a light head including a light, a light head terminal in electrical communication with the light, and a first mounting structure. The light assembly further comprises a first base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle. The first base includes a second mounting structure configured to mate with the first mounting structure such that the light head can be removably secured on the first base. The first base also includes a conductor configured to couple to the power source of the vehicle. The first base also includes a first base terminal in electrical communication with the conductor and configured to mate with the light head terminal to provide power to the light when the light head is secured on the first base. The light assembly further comprises a second base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle. The second base is different than the first base. The second base includes a third mounting structure configured to mate with the first mounting structure such that the light head can be removably secured on the second base. The second base also includes a battery and a second base terminal in electrical communication with the battery. The second base terminal is configured to mate with the light head terminal to provide power to the light when the light head is secured on the second base.
Adjustable truck cover light
A pickup truck is provided that includes a tonneau cover or bed cap that includes a lighting system. The light system is selectively attached to the tonneau cover or bed cap. The light system includes a longitudinally extending rod having an illuminating portion extending along at least a portion of the longitudinal extent of the rod. The longitudinally extending rod includes first and second end portions and an on/off switch located at least adjacent to the first end portion of the longitudinally extending rod. At least one clip is attached to the tonneau cover or bed cap that selectively holds the longitudinally extending rod. The longitudinally extending rod is pivotable within the at least one clip such that the illuminating portion is selectively directable toward different directions.
