APPARATUS TO PREVENT OR REDUCE EFFECT OF TEMPORARY BLINDING OF DRIVERS BY HEADLIGHTS OF ONCOMING VEHICLES
An apparatus including a light housing; a first light fixed to the light housing; an attachment device configured to temporarily attach the light housing with the light to a front windshield of a vehicle; and wherein the first light is fixed to the light housing in a manner so that light from the first light is projected outwards from the light housing in a visual field of less than one hundred and eighty degrees. The attachment device, is configured to attach the light housing to the front windshield so that the visual field of the first light does not project into either of both eyes of a driver of the vehicle. The light housing may be substantially cylindrical and may have a flat surface, configured to be attached and to abut the front windshield. The apparatus may further include a first brightness setting mechanism attached to the light housing.

Automatic Headlight for Improving Visibility During Driving
Disclosed herein is a vehicle headlight for improving visibility during operation. In the vehicle headlight, a filtering film capable of preventing glare and reducing a discomfort glare phenomenon by controlling scotopic vision (S)/photopic vision (P) ratio in such a manner as to selectively absorb/block blue light in light emitted from an LED module is adhered, thereby improving visibility during operation.

Ambient Lighting System For An Agricultural Machine
An ambient light controller in an agricultural machine can control multicolor lights arranged in an operator cab of the machine to project light around structures in the cab to areas that are perceivable by a forward facing operator to convey useful information about the machine to the operator. The lights can be projected around such structures by using light pipes. The lights can preferably be in a color which minimizes glare inside the cab to avoid distraction. The light controller can monitor various functions of the machine, such as boom height, and change colors and/or patterns of the lights to indicate states corresponding to the conditions, such as a normal state and a fault state.

Lighting system and method for improving the alertness of a person
A lighting system for improving the alertness of a person comprising: one or more light sources (101) arranged to emit light into an environment, at least one of the one or more light sources being arranged with a primary function comprising providing illumination into the environment; and a controller (103) configured to cause at least one of the at least one light sources to provide a secondary function of emitting at least a first light pulse (503) having a duration of between 1 ms and 50 ms, wherein there is an idle period (505) lasting at least 0.1 s on either side of the first light pulse.
Methods and systems for controlling light
Systems, vehicles, and methods for controlling light are provided. In an exemplary embodiment a vehicle with a cabin includes a light senor positioned within the vehicle, where the light sensor is configured to send a light intensity signal. A lamp module is positioned within the vehicle, where the light sensor is in communication with lamp module. The lamp module is configured to trigger a darkness lighting scheme when the light intensity signal is at about a darkness set value or less. A lamp is positioned within the cabin, where the lamp is in communication with the lamp module. The lamp is configured to emit a darkness spectrum when the lamp is activated and when the lamp module triggers the darkness lighting scheme. The darkness spectrum has a maximum illumination wavelength less than about 555 nanometers.
