Speech recognition device, speech recognition method and storage medium using recognition results to adjust volume level threshold
In a speech recognition device according to one embodiment, a microphone detects sound and generates an audio signal corresponding to the sound, an adjustment processor adjusts a threshold to be a value less than a first volume level of first input audio signal generated by the microphone, and registers the adjusted threshold, a recognition processor reads the registered threshold, compares the registered threshold with a second input audio signal, discards the second input audio signal when a second volume level of the second input audio signal is less than the registered threshold, and performs a recognition process as the audio signal of a user to be recognized when the second volume level of the second input audio signal is greater than or equal to the registered threshold.
HORN ASSEMBLY CONTROL METHOD AND VEHICLE
Disclosed are a method for controlling a horn assembly, a vehicle and a computer-readable storage medium. The horn assembly includes multiple horns mounted in different regions of transportation means. The method includes that: acquiring running information of the transportation means; selecting at least one of the regions in the transportation means as a related region according to the running information and determining a horn mounted in the related region as a main horn; and determining a sounding manner for the main horn according to the running information, the sounding manner including at least one of a sounding type or a sounding volume.
ASSISTED TRAILER ALIGNMENT SYSTEM
A trailer alignment system is provided. The system comprises a sensor disposed within a housing. The system also comprises a processor configured to determine a location of a vehicle on a trailer based on data received from the sensor and in response to the vehicle location determination, the processor generates a notification. The system further comprises a notification element configured to display the generated notification to a driver of the vehicle.
Method for operating a parking assistance function of a motor vehicle
A method for operating a parking assistance function of a motor vehicle is described, wherein the motor vehicle comprises at least one sensor for detecting the road surrounding the motor vehicle. The method includes the following steps: Finding and specifying a free parking space; Determining a trajectory for parking the motor vehicle in the parking space and a sequence of an at least partially automated parking process; Determining at least one outer boundary line of the road surface required for parking along the identified trajectory; Detecting at least one road user approaching the determined outer boundary line on the road by means of at least one sensor; Determining the distance of the road user approaching the determined outer boundary line from the outer boundary line; if the determined distance falls below a specified first threshold, outputting a warning signal to the approaching road user.
Parking assist system using light projections
A parking assist system for a vehicle includes a camera disposed at a vehicle and having a field of view exterior of the vehicle. An image processor processes image data captured by the camera to determine presence of a wall or object present in the field of view of the camera. A light projecting device is disposed at the vehicle and operable to project a visual pattern toward an area encompassed by the field of view of the camera. During a parking maneuver, and responsive to determination that the vehicle is approaching the wall or object, the parking assist system controls the light projecting device to project the visual pattern toward the determined wall or object. The projected visual pattern is viewable by a driver of the vehicle during the parking maneuver, and the projected visual pattern is indicative of distance between the vehicle and the determined wall or object.
Method for preventing or reducing collision damage to a parked vehicle
A method for avoiding or reducing damage to a parked vehicle caused by a collision with an approaching vehicle performing a parking operation included determining, by the parked vehicle, a risk of collision, transmitting a warning signal if the risk of collision is sufficiently high, monitoring whether the approaching vehicle reacts to the warning signal, and performing a maneuver by the parked vehicle to avoid or reduce collision damage if there is no reaction. The maneuver may permit a controlled contact between the parked vehicle and the approaching vehicle to minimize the force of the contact. After such a controlled contact, a braking torque exerted by the parked vehicle is increased. Following completion of the damage avoidance maneuver, an estimate of the extent of the completed damage prevention is made and provided to the owner of the parked vehicle (including information about potential saved repair costs).
Forward maneuvering assistance using head-up display
A system is described for providing forward maneuvering information of a vehicle to avoid obstacles that may damage the vehicle. The system includes a microprocessor configured to execute instructions stored on a non-transitory computer readable medium. The microprocessor is coupled to a sensor, a monitoring sensor, and a head-up display (HUD). The sensor receives information of surroundings of the vehicle. The monitoring sensor determines an angle of a steering wheel. The microprocessor receives the information and the angle, determines a guided path for the vehicle based on the information and the angle, and transmits the guided path to the HUD.
Vehicle parking assist
Vehicle parking assist is described. In an example, computing system(s) associated with a first vehicle can receive, from sensor(s) associated with the first vehicle, sensor data associated with a second vehicle. Additionally, the computing system(s) can receive an indication that a second vehicle is proximate the first vehicle and can determine, based at least partly on the sensor data, that the second vehicle is moving toward a location proximate the first vehicle (e.g., to park). Based at least partly on the sensor data, the computing system(s) associated with the first vehicle can determine a position, an orientation, and/or a velocity of the second vehicle and based at least partly on determining the position, the orientation, and/or the velocity, can determine instruction(s) for guiding the second vehicle, for example to park. The instruction(s) can be output via light emitter(s), sound emitter(s), and/or a remote user interface associated with the second vehicle.
LIGHT EMITTING UNIT FOR CONVEYANCE
It is intended to cause a light emitter to properly emit light for notifying an occupant of a movement direction of an object approaching a conveyance. A vehicle lighting device includes sensors (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) configured to detect an approaching object approaching a vehicle, light emitters (5) attached to the vehicle, and a control device (2) configured to control the light emitter (5) when the sensor (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) has detected the approaching object. The control device (2) controls the light emitter (5) such that a light emitting spot of the light emitter (5) moves along a direction corresponding to a movement direction of the approaching object.
