Vehicular lighting device
A first light source illuminates a first region. A second light source is configured to provide lower luminance than that of the first light source. The second light source illuminates a second region that overlaps the first region, and that has a larger area than that of the first region. A lighting circuit drives the first light source and the second light source according to a common lighting instruction. The lighting circuit gradually turns on the first light source and the second light source with different gradual changing time periods in response to the lighting instruction.
ADAPTIVE ILLUMINATION METHOD FOR VEHICLE HEADLIGHT
The invention describes a method of providing an illumination pattern for vehicle lighting, the method comprising the steps of: providing a light pattern comprising a multitude of scanlines of white light by illuminating a light converter by means of a scanning laser arrangement for illuminating an area, wherein the scanlines are characterized by a defined scanline width; adapting a cut-off of the light pattern by changing a position of at least one scanline with respect to a reference illumination pattern or by dimming at least a limited portion of at least one scanline.
The invention further describes a vehicle headlight system and a computer program product.

Light control device and light control program
In a light control device, positional information of another vehicle present near an own vehicle is acquired. An irradiation area is set based on the position of the other vehicle. Output for changing the irradiation area of a light in the own vehicle is performed to achieve the set irradiation area. The output for changing the irradiation area is prohibited until the elapse of a wait time that has been set in advance are included. According to the light control device, the irradiation area of the light is not changed until the elapse of the wait time. Therefore, annoyance caused by the irradiation area being frequently changed can be suppressed.
Vehicle headlight control apparatus
A vehicle headlight control apparatus controls headlights of a vehicle including LEDs. The vehicle headlight control apparatus includes: drivers and each of which gradually changes a luminance of the LEDs between a predetermined on state and a predetermined off state over a switching time period; and a lamp ECU that determines the switching time period in a changeable manner.
ADAPTIVELY STEERED VEHICLE HEADLAMPS USING DRIVER GAZE DIRECTION AND HEAD DIRECTION
A vehicle for travelling on a roadway with a driver has a driver monitor, a head lamp system, and a controller. The driver monitor senses a driver gaze angle relative to a vehicle heading along the roadway and senses a driver head angle relative to the vehicle heading. The a headlamp system has a steerable headlamp configured to illuminate the roadway with a light beam along a selectable projection angle. The controller is configured to compare the driver gaze angle to a first threshold angle, determine a difference between the driver gaze angle and the driver head angle, and when the driver gaze angle is greater than the first threshold angle and the difference is less than a second threshold angle, then adjust the projection angle to a target angle based on the driver gaze angle.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ADAPTING A FRONT LIGHT OF A VEHICLE
A method and a device for adapting a front light of a vehicle, the front light illuminating a region in front of the vehicle, having a step of detecting at least one further vehicle which carries out a passing maneuver for passing the vehicle, and a step of adapting the front light in such a way that the at least one further vehicle is not blinded by the front light following the passing maneuver and the front light continues to illuminate the region in front of the vehicle in an at least partially unchanged manner.
LAMP FOR VEHICLE
A lamp for a vehicle includes: a lamp module configured to project a light having a beam pattern onto a road surface; at least one processor; and a computer-readable medium coupled to the at least one processor having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, causes the at least one processor to perform operations comprising: obtaining vehicle driving information associated with driving of the vehicle; determining, based on vehicle driving information, a light adjustment region;
and based on the determination of the light adjustment region, performing a gradual control of light projected to the light adjustment region, the gradual control of light configured to progressively change a brightness of light in the light adjustment region.
VEHICLE HEADLAMP
A vehicle headlamp (1) includes: a lamp unit (10); a boundary determination unit (50); and a control unit (CO), in which the control unit (CO) controls the lamp unit (10) such that an illuminance of light irradiating respective irradiation spots (20) in an irradiation spot row (21) formed of irradiation spots (20) irradiated with light from the light emitting elements (13) overlapping the boundary (51) is equal to or lower than the illuminance of light irradiating adjacent irradiation spots (20) in the bright region side of the irradiation spots (20), and is equal to or higher than the illuminance of light irradiating adjacent irradiation spots (20) in the dark region side of the irradiation spots (20), and so that the total amount of light irradiating the irradiation spot row (21) decreases depending on the proportion of a portion of the irradiation spot row (21) that overlaps the dark region.
Headlamp for vehicle
A headlamp, for a vehicle, that includes an interface unit configured to receive information about an object external to the vehicle, at least one light source configured to generate light, and a transparent display configured to allow at least a portion of the light to pass through the transparent display. The headlamp also includes a processor configured to control the transparent display to darken one area of the transparent display to block transmission of the light through the area of the transparent display, the area of the transparent display being less than an entirety of the transparent display is disclosed.
