HEADLAMP ENCAPSULATED WITH CAMERA AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PROCESSOR TO ADJUST ILLUMINATION
Provided herein is a headlamp assembly comprising a housing that encloses: a sensor that acquires data associated with a surrounding environment; a light source that illuminates a field of view comprising a portion of the surrounding environment; and one or more processors that analyze the acquired data and determine a direction, field of view, power, or an intensity of the illumination of the portion based on the analyzed data.
Vehicular forward viewing image capture system
A vehicular forward viewing image capture system includes an accessory module configured for attachment at an in-cabin side of a windshield of a vehicle, whereby a CMOS image sensor views through the windshield forward of the vehicle. With the accessory module attached at the in-cabin side of the windshield, and while the vehicle is traveling along a road, captured image data is processed to determine movement of an object of interest viewed by the image sensor. Multiple frames of captured image data are processed in determining movement of the object of interest. The accessory module includes an electrical connector for electrically connecting to a vehicle wiring system of the vehicle. Image data captured by the image sensor may be processed for an automatic headlamp control system of the equipped vehicle. The vehicular forward viewing image capture system may compensate for misalignment of the image sensor.
Vehicle lighting apparatus
A lighting ECU determines whether or not a road sign relating to an urban area or a residential area is detected, while it is performing an automatic high beam control. When the detected road sign is a road sign indicating a start point of the urban area or of the residential area, the lighting ECU terminates the automatic high beam control, and maintain a light distribution pattern to a pattern corresponding to low beam. The lighting ECU restarts the automatic high beam control, when the detected road sign is a road sign indicating an end point of the urban area or of the residential area.
VEHICLE INFRARED LAMP SYSTEM, VEHICLE INFRARED SENSOR SYSTEM, VEHICLE INFRARED-SENSOR-EQUIPPED LAMP, AND OPTICAL-SENSOR-EQUIPPED LAMP
A vehicle infrared lamp system mounted on a vehicle equipped with an infrared camera includes: an infrared light source; a rotating reflector; an other-vehicle position acquisition unit configured to acquire position information of another vehicle; and a control unit configured to control a lighting state of the infrared light source based on the position information of the other vehicle acquired by the other-vehicle position acquisition unit such that a dimming region where radiant intensity of infrared light is lower than radiant intensity of any other region is formed on at least a part of the other vehicle.
Vehicle headlight system, control method of vehicle headlight system
To suitably irradiate with a high beam according to a situation in front of the own vehicle. A vehicle headlight system installed in an own vehicle provided with an automatic brake controller which automatically activates a brake system depending on a situation, including: a lamp unit which irradiates at least with a low beam and a high beam; and a controller which is connected to the automatic brake controller and the lamp unit and is configured to control the operation of the lamp unit; where, when the lamp unit is not performing irradiation of the high beam, the controller is configured to control the lamp unit to irradiate with the high beam in the situation in which state of the automatic brake controller transitions from a standby state to a state which activates the brake system to a hard braking or to a preparation state thereof.
VEHICLE LIGHTING DEVICE, VEHICLE INVISIBLE LIGHT PROJECTION DEVICE, AND TARGET OBJECT DETECTION DEVICE
Disclosed are a vehicle lighting device, and an invisible light projection device comprising the vehicle lighting device. The vehicle lighting device comprises a light source, a rotary actuator, a light distribution element and a controller. The light source is mounted on a rotating shaft of the rotary actuator and the controller is adapted to control a light-emitting state of the light source creating different light forms. The vehicle lighting device creates a range of light distribution with less light sources, and has good heat dissipation capability. The invisible light projection device comprises a light source of an invisible light-emitting element, the rotary actuator, and the controller, which is adapted to control the light-emitting state of the invisible light-emitting element at different rotation positions creating light distribution of invisible light. The invisible light projection device can carry out invisible light irradiation on a dark area of vehicle lighting, improving vehicle safety.
LIGHT DISTRIBUTION CONTROL DEVICE, LIGHT DISTRIBUTION CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A light distribution control device including: an acquirer acquiring information representing a running status of an assistance operation performed for driving assistance from a driving assistance device performing driving assistance of a subject vehicle based on a recognition result of objects disposed in front of the subject vehicle recognized based on detection results acquired by a plurality of sensors including an optical sensor; and a light distribution controller performing light distribution control including change of an output level of a headlight of the subject vehicle, in which the light distribution controller gently performs change of the output level of the headlight in accordance with running of the assistance operation in the light distribution control.
VEHICLE HEADLIGHT
A vehicle headlight (1) includes a first lamp unit (10), a second lamp unit (20), a region determination unit (55), and a control unit (CO). A first irradiation spot (S1f) overlaps with a second irradiation spot (S2). The control unit (CO) controls the first lamp unit (10) so that an amount of the light of a light emitting element (13f) corresponding to the first irradiation spot (S1f) overlapping with a predetermined region (80) is reduced, and controls the second lamp unit (20) so that an amount of the light of a light emitting element (23) corresponding to the second irradiation spot (S2) overlapping with the predetermined region (80) is reduced or becomes 0, and light is emitted from the light emitting element (23) corresponding to the second irradiation spot (S2) overlapping with the first irradiation spot (S1f) and not overlapping with the predetermined region (80).
