ILLUMINATION APPARATUS, HOLOGRAM DEVICE, AND VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD
An illumination apparatus that illuminates an illumination zone having a first direction and a second direction crossing the first direction is provided with a light source to emit a coherent light beam, and a diffraction optical device to diffract the coherent light beam incident from the light source. The diffraction optical device diffracts the incident coherent light beam so that a width of the illumination zone in the second direction gradually becomes wider along the first direction of the illumination zone from a nearer side to the diffraction optical device.
Angle-adjusting vehicular headlights
The angle-adjusting vehicular headlights comprise a housing, a swivel bracket, a distance checker, a tilt mechanism, a controller, and a headlight socket. The angle-adjusting vehicular headlights may change an elevation angle of a headlight responsive to a determination by the controller that an inclination angle of a vehicle has changed. As non-limiting examples, the inclination angle may have changed due to a cargo load that has been placed into the vehicle thus compressing the vehicle suspension or the inclination angle may have changed due to the cargo load being removed from the vehicle and the resulting decompression of the vehicle suspension. angle-adjusting vehicular headlights may generally be deployed in pairs.
Headlamp control apparatus and method for preventing light pollution caused by speed breaker
The present disclosure relates to a headlamp control apparatus including a first determination unit configured to, when information regarding a distance from a speed breaker from a detection device included in a vehicle, determine whether the distance from the speed breaker is smaller than a predetermined first threshold distance; a second determination unit configured to, when information regarding an inclination is received from an inclination detection device included in the vehicle, determine whether the inclination is a predetermined first inclination corresponding to an entry into the speed breaker or a predetermined second inclination corresponding to moving off of the speed breaker; and a control unit configured to control a high-beam lamp or adjusting brightness of the high-beam lamp not to shine forward with respect to when it is determined that the distance from the speed breaker is smaller than the first threshold distance, configured to control a general-beam lamp or adjusting brightness of the general-beam lamp to shine forward and downward with respect to the vehicle when it is determined that the inclination is the first inclination, and configured to control the high-beam lamp and the general-beam lamp to return to previous states thereof when it is determined that the inclination is changed from the first inclination to the second inclination.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LIGHT SOURCES IN MOTOR VEHICLES
Device for controlling at least a first light source of a motor vehicle, the motor vehicle at least comprising the first light source being configured to provide a first light function and a second light source configured to provide a second light function, the device comprising: electrical means configured to detect activation of the second light source, and to deactivate the first light source after detection of activation of the second light source. Also, method for controlling at least a first light source of a motor vehicle, the motor vehicle comprising the first light source being configured to provide a first light function and a second light source configured to provide a second light function, the method comprising: electrically detecting activation of the second light source; and electrically deactivating the first light source after detecting activation of the second light source.
Vehicle component control assembly
An electronic controller of a vehicle is in electronic communication with lamp cover condition sensors, a headlamp switch, an off-road lamp switch and an electronic display. The electronic controller is configured to turn on the off-road lamp device in response to the off-road lamp switch being switched to the on condition and further in response to each of a plurality of predetermined conditions being met, the electronic controller further being configured to prevent the off-road lamp device from turning on in response to the off-road lamp switch being switched to the on condition and further in response to at least one of the plurality of predetermined conditions not being met, the predetermined conditions including at least a determination that the removable lamp cover of the off-road device has been removed, and a determination that the headlamp switch is in the second operating condition.
Device and method for controlling light sources in motor vehicles
A device controls at least a first light source of a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle includes at least the first light source to provide a first light function and a second light source to provide a second light function. The device includes an electrical structure to detect activation of the second light source, and to deactivate the first light source after detection of activation of the second light source. Also, a method controls at least a first light source of the motor vehicle. The method includes electrically detecting activation of the second light source and electrically deactivating the first light source after detecting activation of the second light source.
METHOD AND CONTROL UNIT FOR ADJUSTING A LIGHT LEVEL OF AT LEAST ONE HEADLAMP OF A VEHICLE
A method for adjusting a light-level of at least one headlamp for a vehicle. The method includes a reading in; a determining; an ascertaining; and a providing. In the reading in, a position-signal is read in, which represents the current-position of the vehicle. In the determining, a topography-signal is determined using the position-signal, which represents a stored item of information about a roadway-topography at the current position, especially in the case of a curvature and/or a drop of a roadway. In the ascertaining, an angle of inclination of the headlamp to be adjusted for the optimal illumination of the roadway in front of the vehicle is ascertained using the topography-signal. In the providing, an actuating-signal is provided for an adjustment mechanism of the headlamp using the ascertained-angle of inclination to tilt the headlamp to the ascertained-angle of inclination so that the light level of the headlamp is adjustable.
