Method of controlling an agricultural vehicle lighting system and system thereof
A control system of an off-road work vehicle for performing a work function includes a controller for controlling the work vehicle, a light control module for controlling a lighting system of the work vehicle, and a sensing device disposed in communication with the controller. The lighting system includes a array field light that is operably controllable to project a light emission. The sensing device signals a location to be illuminated by the array field light to the controller, and the light control module operably controls an output of the array field light to direct substantially its entire light emission at the location.
Method for assisting a user of a motor vehicle when swerving around an obstacle, driver assistance device, and a motor vehicle
This disclosure relates to a method for assisting a user of a motor vehicle when swerving around an obstacle on a movement path of the motor vehicle. A driver assistance device carries out the following: providing a warning signal which describes an object on the movement path and a collision area which is visible through a window, preferably a vehicle window of the motor vehicle in which the object is located; defining a swerving area visible through the vehicle window, in which a swerving point for travelling around the object is visible, generating an accentuation signal, which describes a measure for accentuating the swerving area, and transmitting the accentuation signal to an accentuation device. Depending on the accentuation signal, the measure for accentuating the swerving area is carried out. The accentuation device can control a heads-up display, a monitor integrated into the vehicle window and/or a headlight.
Driving assistance apparatus
A driving assistance apparatus includes: a driving assister that assists driving by a driver of a vehicle, by way of driving assistance functions; and a controller that obtains inattentive state information indicating an inattentive state of the driver, and reduces or deactivates at least one driving assistance function among the driving assistance functions, by controlling the driving assister based on the inattentive state information obtained.
Vehicle headlight control device, vehicle headlight control method, non-transitory storage medium
A vehicle headlight control device includes: an indicator value acquiring unit configured to acquire an indicator value that represents a brightness of an object detected ahead of an own vehicle; a light distribution control unit configured to control a light distribution of a headlight such that a quantity of light irradiated to the irradiation region where a dimming target object is present is reduced when the dimming target object is detected, the dimming target object being an object of which the indicator value is greater than a reference value; a reference-value varying unit configured to set the reference value to a first reference value when the object is detected within the gaze area and set the reference value to a second reference value that is greater than the first reference value when the object is detected outside of the gaze area.
Method for actuating at least one main headlamp of a lighting unit of a vehicle, lighting unit, computer program product and machine-readable medium
A procedure is provided for actuating at least one main headlamp of a vehicle. The vehicle includes a detection device, and a light control for the automatic actuation of the main headlamp. The main headlamp illuminates an outer area of the area ahead of the vehicle in a first light intensity, and a core area of the area ahead of the vehicle at least partially enclosed by the outer area with a higher second light intensity. The core area is adjusted by the light control in terms of dimension and/or position. In order to improve the visual perceptibility to a vehicle driver of the area ahead of the vehicle, the core area is adjusted in relation to the outer area, and the outer area is adjusted by the light control in such a way depending on the input signal of the light control in terms of dimension and/or position that the vehicle's road and peripheral surroundings) bordering the road in the area ahead of the vehicle are illuminated by the outer area.
VEHICLE DISPLAY SYSTEM, VEHICLE SYSTEM, AND VEHICLE
A vehicle display system provided to a vehicle, includes a first display device, a second display device, and a display control unit. The first display device is configured to emit a light pattern toward a road surface outside the vehicle. The second display device is located inside the vehicle and configured to display predetermined information toward a passenger in the vehicle so that the predetermined information is superimposed on a real space outside the vehicle. The display control unit is configured to control the first display device. The display control unit is configured to control emission of the light pattern according to a passenger's input operation on a display area where the predetermined information can be displayed.
Control method and information display system
A control method is performed by an information display system displaying information on one or more display units included in a vehicle. The information display system executes guidance processing for guiding a line of sight of a driver of the vehicle toward a display unit which is not in the line of sight. The control method including: obtaining vicinity information indicating a state of vicinity of the vehicle from a device outside the vehicle; determining whether or not the driver should pay more attention to the state of the vicinity indicated in the vicinity information than the information displayed on the one or more display units; and executing control for suppressing the guidance processing when it is determined that the driver should pay more attention to the state of the vicinity than the information displayed on the one or more display units.
Method for assisting a driver with regard to traffic-situation-relevant objects and motor vehicle
A method is provided for assisting a driver of a motor vehicle in a traffic situation with regard to objects relevant to the traffic situation. The motor vehicle has at least one environment sensor directed towards the forefield of the motor vehicle, at least one driver sensor designed to detect the line of sight and fixation of the driver's eyes, and at least one headlight having a controllably variable spatial illumination pattern. The method includes detecting, classifying, and locating objects in the forefield of the motor vehicle to determine a first object list having the object data associated with the detected objects. The method also includes determining objects, which were detected and not detected by the driver, in order to generate a second object list of undetected objects. The method also includes illuminating the at least one illuminated object in a targeted manner using the at least one headlight to notify the driver about the illuminated object.
