A liquid buoyancy muscle training device includes a liquid receiving tank receiving and holding liquid therein. A buoyantly submergible member is buoyantly submergible in the liquid contained in the liquid receiving tank and includes a regulation chamber formed therein. A bottom pulley is mounted inside the liquid receiving tank. A rope is connected to the buoyantly submergible member and wrapped around the bottom pulley and extends upward to project outside the liquid receiving tank. A liquid regulation tank is connected through a liquid supply tube to the regulation chamber to allow liquid to flow therebetween. A gas supplier is connected through a gas supply tube to the regulation chamber to selectively supply gas into the regulation chamber to change a ratio between liquid and gas inside the regulation chamber so as to change buoyance applied to the buoyantly submergible member by the liquid contained in the liquid receiving tank.

A weight apparatus includes a bar including a handle rotatably attached to an anchorage. The anchorage includes a body and at least one radially extendable and retractable pin, the pin being movable relative to the body between an innermost position and an outermost position. An end of the pin extends radially beyond an external surface of the body when the pin is in the outermost position. The apparatus further includes a weight including a weight opening in which the anchorage is adapted to be received. The weight includes a radially extending pin opening adapted to receive the pin when the pin is in the outermost position to attach the weight to the anchorage. An arrangement is provided for driving the pin to the outermost position upon rotation of the handle relative to the anchorage.

An exercise device for attachment to an exercise machine or as an independent stand alone exercise device that includes an enclosure having an outer wall that defines an internal space therein, at least one cable aperture and an attachment mechanism for attaching to the exercise machine. A winding assembly is rotationally captured within the internal space and includes a winding spool configured for receiving at least one cable wound there around under resistance provided by a motor. The motor is used in conjunction with a controller circuit, a power source, and a user interface. To perform exercises with the exercise device, a person sets a desired cable unwind resistance with the user interface and then repeatedly pulls and retracts at least one cable.

A stand for an exercise device includes a generally planar body, a first leg extending downwardly from the body, and a second leg extending downwardly from the body. A first extension extends upwardly from the body and a second extension extends upwardly from the body.

A weight lifting apparatus is provided and includes a pair of weight supports, a pair of handle assemblies coupled to the pair of weight supports, and a central bar interposed between each handle assembly of the pair of handle assemblies. The central bar is coupled to each handle assembly. Each handle assembly includes a handle housing, a grip that is rotatably supported within the handle housing, and a ratchet pawl. The ratchet pawl is selectively manipulatable from a first position that inhibits rotation of the grip relative to the handle housing to a second position that permits rotation of the grip relative to the handle housing.

An exercise apparatus has an arrangement of strategically placed attachment points on a wall structure, floor and ceiling that enables easy attachment and detachment of a variety of resistance devices (e.g., a handheld and/or inline cable operated resistance creation device, or a stretch band resistance device) to any of the vertical and/or horizontal structures, thereby providing a nearly 360 degree dimensional point of resistance to perform a wide variety of exercises for different muscle groups and subgroups of the body. In one embodiment, an adjustable resistance creation device includes a cable that winds onto a cable spool and the adjustable resistance creation device providing a constant force of resistance throughout the performance of an exercise movement as the cable is pulled and unwinds from the spool. The adjustable resistance creation device may be incorporated within a gym grip or, alternatively, attached to an exercise machine.
