Foot training device and foot training method
A training device is provided for training a foot using the device. The training device includes a fulcrum placed at a center and four projections that project in different directions from the fulcrum. Each of the four projections have elastic members that are bendable. The training device is configured to improve foot muscle strength by bending and stretching the elastic members. At least two of the four projections have different degrees of elasticity in flexure as determined when a force is applied to a distal end of each of the at least two projections to bend the elastic members. The four projections project in cross directions from the fulcrum at the center. Each pair of projections that oppose each other across the fulcrum are arranged on a straight line.
HANDGRIP FOR SKIPPING ROPES
A handgrip for skipping ropes, comprising: a hollow handle, for gripping the handgrip and configured for housing at least one internal ballast; and a connection means for connecting the handle to a rope; wherein it comprises an external ballast able to be fixed to the handle, surrounding it and being configured for gripping the handgrip.
EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device having a unique asymmetrical shape with rounded ends of differing radii to provide stability and added resistance.
SMARTER USER HANDLES FOR EXERCISE MACHINE
In response to physical connection of an exercise accessory with a portion of an exercise machine, an identifier of the portion of the exercise machine is received. A signal including the identifier of the portion of the exercise machine is transmitted.
FILTERING CONTROL SIGNALS
An exercise system includes a load bearing element having a control element. It further includes a resistance mechanism responsive to a signal from the control element. The signal from the control element is selectively rejected based on state information relating to a state of the load bearing element.
RING ACTUATOR
An exercise accessory includes a load bearing shaft. It further includes a ring-shaped actuator oriented substantially concentrically to the shaft that is responsive to radial pressure from a user. The radial pressure from the user causes a control signal to be transmitted from the exercise accessory to an exercise machine.
VELOCITY BASED SAFETY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FITNESS MACHINES
Training machine and a method of controlling a training machine comprising a resistance component configured to provide at least a resistance during training, a control configured to control the resistance component during training and a safety component configured to monitor the training machine on the basis of velocity and/or any derivative thereof.
Dumbbell
A dumbbell with a selectable number of weight disks includes a handle with pins projectable in opposing directions, a base assembly for accommodating two sets of weight disks standing upright, and having through-going openings. Neighbouring weight disks have mutually cooperating connecting arrangements which axially interconnect the weight disks but which permit radial separation. The projection lengths of the pins are stepwise selectable in order thereby to permit selection of the number of weight disks carried on the handle. The handle has, in opposing ends, connecting arrangements for interconnecting with the connecting arrangements of the innermost weight disks in the base assembly. Further, the space between the connecting arrangements of the handle is free through 360° about the handle throughout its entire length, the openings of the weight disks being centrally located.
WEIGHT-MACHINE APPARATUS FOR FACILITATING VOICE-CONTROLLABLE RESISTANCES FOR STRENGTH TRAINING
Disclosed herein is a weight-machine apparatus for facilitating voice-controllable resistances for strength training, in accordance with some embodiments. Accordingly, the weight-machine apparatus may include an electromechanical assembly, at least one voice sensor, a processing device, a storage device, and a power source. Further, the electromechanical assembly may include an electrically powered force-generating component and a force-receiving component. Further, the at least one voice sensor may be configured for detecting at least one voice sample. Further, the processing device may be communicatively coupled with the at least one voice sensor and the electrically powered force-generating component. Further, the storage device may be communicatively coupled with the processing device. Further, the power source may be electrically coupled with the electrically powered force-generating component, the processing device, the at least one voice sensor, and the storage device.
BAR-BELL DESIGN WITH ROTATABLE HAND GRIPS
A weight lifting apparatus is provided and includes a pair of weight supports, a pair of handle assemblies coupled to the pair of weight supports, and a central bar interposed between each handle assembly of the pair of handle assemblies. The central bar is coupled to each handle assembly. Each handle assembly includes a handle housing, a grip that is rotatably supported within the handle housing, and a ratchet pawl. The ratchet pawl is selectively manipulatable from a first position that inhibits rotation of the grip relative to the handle housing to a second position that permits rotation of the grip relative to the handle housing.
