Weight apparatus including weight adjustment arrangement
A weight apparatus includes a bar including a handle rotatably attached to an anchorage. The anchorage includes a body and at least one radially extendable and retractable pin, the pin being movable relative to the body between an innermost position and an outermost position. An end of the pin extends radially beyond an external surface of the body when the pin is in the outermost position. The apparatus further includes a weight including a weight opening in which the anchorage is adapted to be received. The weight includes a radially extending pin opening adapted to receive the pin when the pin is in the outermost position to attach the weight to the anchorage. An arrangement is provided for driving the pin to the outermost position upon rotation of the handle relative to the anchorage.
Portable weight-based exercise system and method
A portable weight-based exercise system is disclosed that is capable of providing a user with a variety of weight-based exercise options. The exercise system includes a carrying case having a housing, containing dumbbells and a collection of weight disks for performing a variety of exercises, and a removable handle assembly for carrying or dragging the housing along the ground. First and second end bars and a center bar of the handle assembly are reconfigurable from a first configuration wherein they are disposed in a U-shaped arrangement to form the handle assembly to a second configuration wherein the first and second end bars are coaxial with the center bar to form a longer straight bar, which can then be combined with the dumbbells and collection of weight disks to form an assembled long weight bar. The housing may additionally include accessories such as a jump rope and an exercise band.
Bar-bell design with rotatable hand grips
A weight lifting apparatus is provided and includes a pair of weight supports, a pair of handle assemblies coupled to the pair of weight supports, and a central bar interposed between each handle assembly of the pair of handle assemblies. The central bar is coupled to each handle assembly. Each handle assembly includes a handle housing, a grip that is rotatably supported within the handle housing, and a ratchet pawl. The ratchet pawl is selectively manipulatable from a first position that inhibits rotation of the grip relative to the handle housing to a second position that permits rotation of the grip relative to the handle housing.
Tire flip simulator
An improved fitness/exercise apparatus using full or half tire that rotates 360 degrees about a fixed axle. A user lifts/pushes the tire, thus rotating the tire end over end, while the apparatus creates resistance to the rotation via a variety of means, such as a magnetic brake, a viscous brake, a pad and disc brake or a motor-controlled brake system.
Foot exercise brace and ball device
A universal foot exercise brace and ball device with new and useful characteristics for massaging and rehabilitating the plantar fascia is presented. An adjustable ankle brace surrounding the ankle naturally connects to a curvilinear tongue surface that rests over the top portion of the foot defining a passageway for a shock cord. An upper cord lock subsequently accommodates and sizes the shock cord, which in turn holds a spherical ball designed for massaging the tissues found at the bottom of the foot. Together, all the components of this utilitarian device work as one embodiment and integrated unit leaving the plantar fascia completely unobstructed to be massaged using this new device and method that securely holds a ball in place under the foot while it operates rolling under all sections of the plantar fascia as intended by the user.
MODULAR EXERCISE MACHINE
Commands are received from an exercise actuator via a control interface. Collaborative information about an exercise session is received via a software interface. A force from a central electromagnetic resistance unit is provided in response to the control interface and the software interface via a resistance mechanical interface.
System for performing physical exercises at a constant speed of a movement
The present invention applies to the field of exercise devices and bodybuilding and muscle building devices. This invention describes a system applied in exercise devices, preferably for the performance of the activity of bodybuilding, without the use of a counterweight, in which the system is based on the speed of the movement, independent of the applied force.
Easy chair exerciser
An exercise device is disclosed herein. The exercise device includes a platform, a track unit, a first leg holder, a second leg holder and a bracket. Further the exercise device includes a first resistance band and a second resistance band. The exercise device can be moved from any recliner or ottoman with ease to assist users in strengthening the legs and upper body whilst sitting.
Weight plates
A weight plate with a contained clamp inside a housing formed from features of the weight plate. The clamp is enclosed by the weight plate features and held in place from coming out of the housing using a fastener. Once the clamp is held, the clamp will not rotate on its own axis of rotation inside the housing. This prevents the clamp from being lost and provides easy clamping of the weight plate to a bar.
Maximum push-up exercise machine
One embodiment of a maximum push-up exercise machine (100) for various push-up exercises in the prone position on a platform (108) with weights having a cable-pulley weight stack system housing (102) with a cable-pulley weight stack system (104) that is welded, bolted, or connected in any manner to said platform. The configuration of the cable-pulley weight stack system may be in any manner such that a cable thimble (110) is positioned midpoint of the platform. The cable thimble is configured to receive snap link hook from a chain (150) suspended from a harness or belt (146) worn by a user (106), connect to a single cable handle attachment (148), and connect to a push-up bar (138) via a push-up bar cable connector (140).
