VARIABLE BEAM PATTERN LAMP SYSTEM FOR DRIVER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A variable beam pattern lamp system for a driver provides an input device that receives personal information of the driver, a lamp driving device that drives an indoor or outdoor lamp of a vehicle to output a beam pattern matched to the driver, based on the personal information of the driver, the personal information being input through the input device, and a vehicle controller that determines whether the personal information is registered driver information or unregistered driver information, when the personal information of the driver is input through the input device, and controls the lamp driving device to drive the indoor or outdoor lamp of the vehicle using beam patterns respectively corresponding to that the personal information is the registered driver information and that the personal information is the unregistered driver information.
Vehicle adaptive lighting system
A lighting control system for a vehicle includes a controller configured to be disposed at a vehicle so as to connect with or communicate with at least one light of the vehicle. The controller, responsive to at least one input, adjusts a color of the at least one light of the vehicle and an intensity of the at least one light of the vehicle. The input may include one or more of (i) a driver attentiveness input and (ii) a driver age input, and optionally a time of day input, an ambient light input, a weather condition input, and/or a navigation input.
ELECTRONIC SKIN FOR VEHICLE COMPONENTS
Systems and methods are provided for adjusting a control of a vehicle system based on a condition of an occupant. The system includes a replaceable or upgradeable electronic skin removably coupled to an interior vehicle component. The electronic skin includes at least one sensor positioned therein, configured to monitor/obtain a biometric, physiological, or wellness condition measurement from an occupant. The system includes one or more processors and a memory communicably coupled thereto. An occupant comfort module is provided including instructions that, when executed, collect and monitor feedback from the at least one sensor; determine that the feedback exceeds a predetermined threshold; and determine an adjustment for a vehicle system based on the feedback. A control module may be provided including instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the vehicle system to change at least one setting based on the adjustment determined by the occupant comfort module.
Exterior rearview device with illumination functions and autonomous vehicles using same
An exterior rearview system for an autonomous vehicle includes a housing adapted for mounting to an exterior side of a vehicle, the housing holding at least one of a reflective element or display screen for displaying to a driver a rear or side image of the vehicle, one or more lighting modules disposed in the housing and providing an adaptive lighting sector which is adaptively controlled, and a control system configured to receive input data related to at least one of a user's intention using a tracking sensor and a user's retaking control of the autonomous vehicle.
Lamp for vehicle and vehicle
A lamp for a vehicle includes a lamp module configured to emit light; an interface unit configured to receive information; at least one processor; and a computer-readable medium having stored thereon instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations that include: receiving, through the interface unit, driving situation information of the vehicle; and controlling, based on the driving situation information, a resolution of light that is output from the lamp module.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR VEHICULAR LIGHT FIXTURES
A lighting device is provided for controlling the photometric distribution of light emitted by two or more LEDs. The lighting device may be integrated with a control system of the vehicle and may be controlled by a remote controller. The lighting device may be capable of being operated in one or more modes of operation based on operating conditions, user input, or both. Operating conditions may include vehicle conditions, environmental conditions, and user conditions. The controller may operate a software application to enable the user to modify, control, or otherwise regulate any mode of operation or other feature of the lighting system.
Automated pilot visibility lights
Automated control of one or more exterior aircraft lights is presented, for instance exterior aircraft lights that enhance visibility by a pilot and including landing lights, taxi lights, and runway turnoff lights. One aspect of this automated control is that one or more of such exterior aircraft lights may be automatically activated, for instance when the aircraft has at least initiated movement and has not yet reached a certain altitude (e.g., while the aircraft is taxiing on the ground and including during takeoff). Another aspect of this automated control is that a trained image classification model may determine a visibility classification for an image acquired by an exterior aircraft camera, and this visibility classification may be used to automatically control the operation of one of more of such exterior aircraft lights (e.g., an intensity of the light output from such an exterior aircraft light(s)).
METHOD FOR ADJUSTING VEHICLE LIGHTING WHEN DRIVING THROUGH A BUILDING SITE, AND VEHICLE
A method for adjusting vehicle lighting when driving through a building site involves adjusting a light pattern cast by at least one vehicle headlight into an environment from a top light field, referred to as high beam, and a bottom light field, referred to as low beam, upon recognizing that a building site is being driven through by changing a light intensity with which the light pattern is generated. The light intensity at which the low beam is emitted is increased to a determined value when driving through the building site.
Optical axis adjustment device
An optical axis adjustment device for a headlamp unit to be mounted in a vehicle is configured to adjust an optical axis of the headlamp unit. The optical axis adjustment device includes an engine temperature acquirer, a displacement amount calculator, and an optical axis adjuster. The engine temperature acquirer is configured to acquire a temperature in an engine compartment of the vehicle. The displacement amount calculator is configured to calculate a displacement amount of the optical axis on a basis of the acquired temperature. The optical axis adjuster is configured to adjust the optical axis of the headlamp unit on a basis of the calculated displacement amount.
