Vehicle Lighting Control Method and Device
A vehicle lighting control method includes that a roadside communications device sends a first message to a vehicle. The first message prompts the vehicle to illuminate a first target, and the first target is near a travel path that the vehicle is to pass through. Before passing the first target, the vehicle adjusts the vehicle into a first lighting mode in advance based on the first message to illuminate the first target.
VEHICLE LAMP SYSTEM, LIGHT DISTRIBUTION CONTROL DEVICE, LIGHT DISTRIBUTION CONTROL METHOD, VEHICLE DETERMINATION DEVICE, AND VEHICLE DETERMINATION METHOD
A vehicle lamp system includes a vehicle lamp, a first imaging device structured to be disposed outside a lamp room, and generate a first image, a second imaging device structured to be housed in the lamp room, and generate a second image, and a light distribution control device. The light distribution control device includes an information processor structured to acquire from an outside or generate information of a first light shielding part, and decide a second light shielding part, a control executer structured to execute light distribution control for forming a light distribution pattern including the second light shielding part, and a control regulator structured to control the vehicle lamp to form a light distribution pattern including the first light shielding part when at least one condition of a condition (i) to a condition (iv).
HEADLIGHT AND CONTROL METHOD FOR A HEADLIGHT
A headlight for vehicles, having a light source unit for emitting light, an optical unit for deflecting the light in accordance with a predefined light distribution, and a control unit for generating a control signal, by means of which the light source unit and/or the optical unit can be controlled, wherein the control signal is generated depending on a number of environmental parameters, wherein an optimization program is stored in the control unit, by means of which optimization program the control signal is calculated from a plurality of individual control signals, wherein by means of the individual control signals different partial light distributions, each dependent on the environmental parameters, can be generated.
VEHICLE DETECTING DEVICE, VEHICLE LAMP SYSTEM, VEHICLE DETECTING METHOD, LIGHT DISTRIBUTION CONTROLLING DEVICE, AND LIGHT DISTRIBUTION CONTROLLING METHOD
A vehicle detecting device includes: a camera that includes an image sensor and a first filter, the image sensor including a plurality of imaging elements including a first imaging element group and a second imaging element group, the first filter keeping an amount of light entering the first imaging element group lower than an amount of light entering the second imaging element group; an image generating unit that generates a first image based on information obtained from the first imaging element group and a second image based on information obtained from the second imaging element group; and a detecting unit that detects a front vehicle based on the first image and the second image.
AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM CONTROL FOR AUTONOMOUS MACHINE APPLICATIONS
In various examples, high beam control for vehicles may be automated using a deep neural network (DNN) that processes sensor data received from vehicle sensors. The DNN may process the sensor data to output pixel-level semantic segmentation masks in order to differentiate actionable objects (e.g., vehicles with front or back lights lit, bicyclists, or pedestrians) from other objects (e.g., parked vehicles). Resulting segmentation masks output by the DNN(s), when combined with one or more post processing steps, may be used to generate masks for automated high beam on/off activation and/or dimming or shading—thereby providing additional illumination of an environment for the driver while controlling downstream effects of high beam glare for active vehicles.
AGRICULTURAL MACHINE, AND DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AGRICULTURAL MACHINE
An agricultural machine includes one or more illuminators to illuminate surroundings of the agricultural machine in a traveling direction thereof, and a controller to control self-driving of the agricultural machine while keeping at least one of the one or more illuminators deactivated at nighttime.
HEADLIGHT ILLUMINATION SYSTEM USING OPTICAL ELEMENT
An illumination system for a vehicle includes a headlight configured to emit a light beam along an optical path and into an environment. The illumination system includes an optical element having a body comprising four sides. The optical element is positioned along the optical path and configured to redirect the light beam. The illumination system includes a front lens positioned along the optical path and configured to receive the light beam from the optical element and collimate the light beam as the light beam passes into the environment. The optical element is configured to move around an optical element axis to translate the light beam relative to an azimuth plane of the environment.
LIGHTING APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A control method of a lighting apparatus for a vehicle may include: sensing, by a sensing unit, a distance between the vehicle and a pedestrian; determining, by a control unit, whether the distance between the vehicle and the pedestrian falls within a first distance; determining, by the control unit, a walking direction of the pedestrian when the distance between the vehicle and the pedestrian falls within the first distance; and indicating, by the control unit, the walking direction to the pedestrian by operating a plurality of flap units.
Illumination system of a motor vehicle for shortening a illuminating distribution on a carriageway, a headlight system and a motor vehicle comprising the same, and associated method
The present disclosure relates to an illumination system for a motor vehicle for illuminating a carriageway section. The aim is to illuminate the carriageway section in such a way that irritations for other road users are avoided as far as possible. The illumination system includes an information system for providing or detecting a stopping point, an illumination device for projecting a calculated light distribution onto the carriageway section, and a control unit for calculating a light distribution, wherein the calculated light distribution is a one-piece area. The one-piece area begins from a predetermined starting section, which constitutes a proximal lighting section relative to the motor vehicle and does not extend beyond the stopping point. This leads to a shortening of a lane light of the motor vehicle, so that said lane light does not illuminate the lane beyond the stopping point. This is advantageous in particular for crossroads.
