VEHICLE-MOUNTED COMMUNICATION DEVICE, METHOD FOR THE SAME, AND VEHICLE
The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a vehicle-mounted communication device, a method for the same, and a vehicle. The vehicle-mounted communication device comprises: a first signal transmission module configured to transmit a turn-off alert signal for alerting to turn off a high beam on condition that it is determined that a particular region of the vehicle is illuminated by the high beam; a first signal reception module configured to receive a turn-off alert signal for alerting to turn off a high beam transmitted by another vehicle; an execution module configured to perform one of the following operations on condition that the high beam of the vehicle is turned on and the first signal reception module receives the turn-off alert signal: switching the vehicle to low beam illumination; and generating a prompt signal for prompting to switch to low beam illumination.
System and method for automatically modifying brake light intensity
Systems and methods for detecting distracted drivers and reducing risks posed by the distracted drivers are disclosed. According to certain aspects, an electronic device may capture and analyze image data that depicts an operator of a vehicle in various levels of distraction. The electronic device may determine, based on the analysis, whether the operator is distracted, and determine an additional vehicle that may be located in front of the vehicle. The electronic device may generate and transmit a command to an additional electronic device that, upon execution, causes brake lights of the additional vehicle to modify in intensity.
Driving assistance method and device
A device for assisting with driving an automotive vehicle, the vehicle being equipped with at least one illuminating device able to emit a beam for illuminating a road scene (SR) in front of the vehicle, the assisting device comprising a variable transmission screen that is intended to be placed between the road scene (SR) and a driver of the vehicle, the assisting device being configured to, when active, control a light emission of at least one light source of the illuminating device and a transmission coefficient of the variable transmission screen, in relation to each other, with a pulsed signal, characterized in that the assisting device is configured to detect a vehicle equipped with a device of the same type via inter-vehicle communication and to modify the pulsed signal so as to avoid antiphase and/or phase effects, when the device detects such a vehicle.
IMAGE PROJECTION APPARATUS
An image projection apparatus that can be attached to a vehicle and can be effectively utilized for acquisition of road surface condition information, detection of a hidden vehicle, and the like is provided. The image projection apparatus that projects an image includes: an acquisition unit that acquires information related to a vehicle; an image projection unit that projects an image based on the information acquired by the acquisition unit; and imaging means that acquires an image outside the vehicle, the image projection unit projects light in a wavelength band centered on a wavelength of 1.4 ?m, and the imaging means provides the information related to the vehicle by imaging an image projected based on the light in the wavelength band centered on the wavelength of 1.4 ?m.
LIGHTING APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE AND VEHICLE HAVING THE SAME
A lighting apparatus for a vehicle may include a light output unit; an interface unit; and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to control the light output unit to generate light that illuminates an exterior of the vehicle. The at least one processor may also be configured to receive first information via the interface unit; and control the light output unit to display, via the light that illuminates the exterior of the vehicle, a visual image corresponding to the received first information. The at least one processor may further be configured to receive second information via the interface unit; and control the light output unit based on the received second information to change the visual image displayed by the light that illuminates the exterior of the vehicle.
Image projection apparatus
An image projection apparatus that can be attached to a vehicle and can be effectively utilized for acquisition of road surface condition information, detection of a hidden vehicle, and the like is provided. The image projection apparatus that projects an image includes: an acquisition unit that acquires information related to a vehicle; an image projection unit that projects an image based on the information acquired by the acquisition unit; and imaging means that acquires an image outside the vehicle, the image projection unit projects light in a wavelength band centered on a wavelength of 1.4 ?m and the imaging means provides the information related to the vehicle by imaging an image projected based on the light in the wavelength band centered on the wavelength of 1.4 ?m.
Automated high beam headlight operation
Systems and methods are provided for automatically turning off the high beam headlights of a vehicle. In one embodiment, the system may include an electronic control unit for adjusting the operation of the high beam headlights. The electronic control unit may detect whether the headlights are operating in a high beam mode. Additionally, the electronic control unit may receive data regarding at least one of an environmental condition, a road condition, and a driving condition from one or more cameras, sensors, and information systems associated with a vehicle. The headlights may then be switched to the low beam mode when it is determined that the likelihood of at least one of the environmental condition, the road condition, and the driving condition meets or exceeds a threshold condition.
VEHICULAR ILLUMINATION DEVICE, VEHICLE SYSTEM, AND VEHICLE
A vehicle illumination device which is provided in a vehicle capable of travelling in an automatic driving mode includes an illumination unit configured to display stop warning information forewarning stop of the vehicle toward a front of the vehicle, and an illumination controller configured to control the illumination unit such that the stop warning information is displayed toward the front of the vehicle.
