Accordingly, provided is a tractor, i.e. a work vehicle, having a step used for boarding/alighting provided in front of a rear wheel thereof. The step is configured from: a receiving part which engages with a foot of an operator; a front support part for supporting a front of the receiving part; and a rear support part for supporting a rear of the receiving part. One end of the front support part is coupled to a cabin frame. Another end of the front support part is coupled to a tractor side end surface of the receiving part. One end of the rear support part is coupled to a front-side end part of a fender of the rear wheel. Another end of the rear support part is coupled to a rear-side end surface of the receiving part.

The electrically conductive traces may include (i) a heating trace that, (ii) first and second electro-optic control traces and/or (iii) accessory control traces. The electrically conductive traces terminate at a connector region of the heater pad substrate. An electrical connector is established at the connector region and has terminals electrically conductively connected at respective terminals of the electrically conductive traces. The electrical connector is formed as part of a back plate of the mirror reflective element assembly and is configured to electrically connect to a single wiring harness of the exterior rearview mirror assembly.

A blind spot indicator is disposed at an aperture established at the inboard wall of the skull-cap mirror shell and provides a viewing area of at least two square centimeters. An illumination source of the blind spot indicator is activated responsive to detection by a blind spot detection system of the equipped vehicle of presence of a rearward approaching or overtaking equipped vehicle. Illumination of the blind spot indicator by activation of the illumination source is readily viewable by the driver of the equipped vehicle and is generally not viewable by a driver of a vehicle forward of the equipped vehicle.

The invention relates to a system for warning of an imminent collision between a towing vehicle (2) and a trailer (3) when reversing a towing vehicle (2) with a trailer (3), with a monitoring facility (5) for continuously monitoring an angle between a longitudinal axis of the towing vehicle (2) and a longitudinal axis of the trailer (3) when reversing the towing vehicle (2), in order to detect whether there is the threat of a collision between the towing vehicle (2) and the trailer (3), and to generate a warning signal if there is the threat of a collision between the towing vehicle (2) and the trailer (3).

EXTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY

An exterior rearview mirror assembly for mounting at a vehicle includes a base portion configured for attachment at a side of the vehicle, and a mirror head having a mirror reflective element, an attachment plate and an electrically-operable mirror actuator. The base portion extends through an aperture in the mirror head. The mirror actuator is attached at the attachment plate, which includes wall structure that extends from the front side of the attachment plate and that circumscribes and spans a perimeter circumferential edge of a glass substrate of the mirror reflective element. The mirror actuator is electrically operable to adjust the mirror head relative to the base portion. The aperture allows for movement of the mirror head relative to the base portion during operation of the mirror actuator.

A warning indicator system for a vehicle side-view mirror includes light sources disposed to emit light in patterns and/or colors visible through a partially light-reflective surface. The partially light-reflective surface may be a light transmitting substrate having a coating of a reflective substance provided in a thickness allowing at least a partial transmission of light therethrough. The light sources may be printed light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Disposing the light sources in desired patterns to emit desired colors on actuation in a predetermined sequence allows configuring the side mirrors to emit visible light signals indicative of the stealth mode, a pursuit mode, and a traffic advisor mode.

A display device is responsive to the signal to display in real time the detected obstacle or a welcome mat onto or adjacent the vehicle for enhanced viewing by an approaching pedestrian when the pedestrian carrying the authorized device is located within a predetermined range of the mobile device.
