Rehabilitation training apparatus
Disclosed is a rehabilitation training apparatus. The rehabilitation training apparatus includes a pair of first tracks formed parallel to each other along first axis, a second track disposed on the pair of first tracks, and moving along the first axis, and formed along second axis, a hand holder disposed on the second track, and moving along the second track, and on which at least one of hand and arm of a user is held, a stopper for a track disposed on the pair of first tracks for limiting a movement range of the second track, and a stopper for a holder disposed on the second track for limiting a movement range of the second pair of first tracks, wherein the first axis and the second axis are disposed with an inclination.
WALKING TRAINING SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD OF SAME, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
A walking training system includes a treadmill, a center-of-gravity position detection unit that detects a center-of-gravity position of a trainee from a load received from a sole of the trainee on a belt of the treadmill, a posture detection unit that detects a posture of the trainee, a center-of-gravity position estimation unit that estimates the center-of-gravity position of the trainee from the detected posture of the trainee, a determination unit that determines whether a difference between the detected center-of-gravity position and the estimated center-of-gravity position exceeds a predetermined value, and a notification unit that sends, when the determination unit determines that the difference exceeds the predetermined value, a notification notifying that whether the difference exceeds the predetermined value.
Exercise apparatus
A piece of exercise equipment particularly for improved strength training exercises. More particularly, the invention relates to equipment that allows the user to vary tension when performing different exercises. The present invention is specifically designed for improved exercise through the variability of a tension component for use in such exercises as the plank exercise, sit-ups, push-ups and supine pull-ups that includes a core support, a guide arm, a head support, and a foot support that work in conjunction to most optimally support the user. The core support, the head support and the foot support are all connected, supported, and elevated from the floor by a central support system.
SYSTEMS FOR MECHANICALLY ASSISTING REHABILITATION OF A PATIENT
System for mechanically assisting rehabilitation of a patient. The system includes: a manipulator having at least five degrees of freedom and defining a free end; a limb support for supporting a limb of the patient, and secured relative to the free end of the manipulator; a force sensor operatively connected to the limb support to allow measuring input forces applied by the patient; and a processor communicatively connected to the force sensor, the manipulator, and a memory store which defines a scale factor. The processor is configured to control operation of the manipulator to move the limb support, and further configured so that responsive to receiving an input force measurement from the force sensor, the processor determines an applied force as a function of the input force and the scale factor.
Stretching Machine
The present invention is a Stretching Machine in the form of a remote power actuated mechanical pushing apparatus comprising a flat base extended in front of an open box frame having a power actuated mechanical pushing and pulling device with a plurality of cylindrical padded arms enabling a full one hundred and eighty degree arc range of effective powered stretching assistance for self stretching the lower back muscles and leg muscles for exercise, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and stretching. It is useful for actively and passively, safely and effectively, self stretching the erector spinae, hamstrings, quadriceps, sartorius, hip adductors, hip flexors, tensor fasciae latae, rectus femris, gluteus maximus, and gluteus medius muscles. The Stretching Machine is also convenient and easy to use to stretch the muscles of the upper back.
Unweighting exercise equipment
A DAP unweighting system comprising an unweighting assembly and an exercise machine wherein the unweighting system is adaptable to the exercise machine and uses existing framing elements of the exercise machine to achieve an effective and user friendly DAP unweighting system assembly.
Force Assistance System for an Exercise Machine
A force assistance system for an exercise machine assists a user during a first portion of a lift. The force assistance system provides an assistance force at the beginning of a lift to help the user perform the lift. The assistance force reduces the amount of force the user must provide to start the lift. The assistance force helps the user exercise using higher weights for better muscle development. The force assistance system for the exercise machine generally includes an upper member, a lower member and at least one resilient member positioned between the upper member and the lower member. The upper member, the lower member and the at least one resilient member are adapted to be positioned between a frame and a movable arm of the exercise machine. The at least one resilient member applies the assistance force in an upward direction to the movable arm to help the user move the movable arm during a first portion of a lift.
Wearable device and exercise support method performed by the wearable device
A wearable device and an exercise support method performed by the wearable device are disclosed. The exercise support method includes receiving exercise setting information associated with a lower body muscle that is selected by a user input, determining a torque profile to be applied to the wearable device based on the received exercise setting information, and operating an actuator of the wearable device based on the determined torque profile.
PRESSURE CHAMBER AND LIFT FOR DIFFERENTIAL AIR PRESSURE SYSTEM WITH MEDICAL DATA COLLECTION CAPABILITIES
A differential air pressure system has a pressure bag with windows and preferred folding configuration such that when the bag is folded no window is folded. The pressure bag is supported by a lift support that is proximal to a user control panel and adjacent to or nearly adjacent to the user who is coupled to the pressure bag. A treadmill base for use with differential air pressure equipment is provided. There are various improvements provided to adapt the operations of the DAP system via the use of separate pressure volume and non-pressure volume portions of the treadmill base. Various improvements to serviceability and repairs are provided by placement of components outside of the pressure volume portion or by providing one or more pressure volume access points.
